Poison Eve

Poison Eve
Chapters-26

"Master, in the near future don't be too tired!" order Evelyn after they get to Nazareth's estate. He laid the man on his bed and put Migi Vox on the man's chest. "If you need anything, just tell me."

Migi Vox looked up at Evelyn with a glaring look as if she was unwillingly descending from the lap of the girl.

I could not believe this time to avoid death, Nazareth thought as he rubbed his puppet head. "My recovery is not a problem" he said, looking calm despite his broken heart. "But your training must not be delayed. Take the book," he instructed as he pointed at one of the books on his wall shelf. "Third book, fourth line!"

Evelyn followed the direction of her index finger and pulled out a thick book that her guardian pointed at.

"There are written some of my research results about spiritual chakra training" Nazareth told me. "Follow guide!"

"Hmh!" Evelyn nodded enthusiastically.

"One more thing" Nazareth added. "You must go to the city of Angelos to enroll in the Order of Angelos so that you can get a Spiritual Master's subsidy every month."

Evelyn gave her smile and nodded once more. Then rushed out of Nazareth's room.

Simultaneously, Xenephon appeared in the doorway and nearly collided with Evelyn.

"Master!" Evelyn bowed quickly and saluted.

Xenephon smiled at her and rushed into Nazareth's room, while Evelyn stepped out.

Xenephon watched the girl's back disappear before turning to Nazareth. "What's going on?"

"He just saved my life!" Nazareth pulled his body and leaned against the head of the bed. Migi Vox jumped up and sat on his lap looking up at Xenephon.

"Well-yeah," said Xenephon. "I can see it from Migi Vox!"

"Besides saving my reputation of course!" Nazareth added.

Xenephon blinked and widened his eyes. "You made it?"

"He succeeded!" Nazareth hatch.

"Is that why you got battered?" xenephon.

Nazareth smiled bitterly. "Only a level ten monster," he said as he bent Migi Vox's head to reveal the bite marks on the nape of the doll.

Migi Vox's tiny hands and feet flapped trying to rebel.

"Vampire girl" muttered Xenephon. "The effect will be bad in the long run."

Nazareth let out a short sigh and relaxed his body. "He has neutralized the poison well" he said.

Xenephon frowned. "I guess he just gave you the antidote or something" he said unsure.

Nazareth rolled up his sleeves and revealed an incision mark on his wrist.

"He's no ordinary beginner" commented Xenephon.

"You remember the man we saved at the border gate of Fortress?"

Xenephon squinted his eyes, "Yes," he said. "Why?"

"He is his father!"

Xenephon widened his eyes once more. "This girl is truly a world dispute!"

Angelos city…

Evelyn looked up at a towering giant building. He walked through the black iron gate, up several front steps.

A pair of twin pillars flank the hall door in Greek splendor, directing the heads of two staircases leading to the main floor that looked as if they were miles away.

"Stop, Son!" a formally dressed man shouted at Evelyn from the corridor. "This is the Parliament House, you can't just walk in!"

Evelyn bowed at a glance in typical noble style, "I came for the test of the protective fairy," she said politely.

"Come in the registration hall area" the man in the corridor told me. "Find Master Helios!"

Evelyn bowed once more then turned around and rushed to the other side of the building and began to search for exactly where the registration hall was.

It was not until five minutes that he had found the area and there were no guards blocking him as he pushed the double door and stepped into the room.

Five men in armor without helmets and weapons turned their heads in unison as Evelyn entered the hall.

Evelyn bowed to them and greeted politely. He recognized the five men while at the Cultural Hall.

"You.." The owner of the crystal ball recognized Evelyn.

The other four frowned.

"Ah—I remember him!" one of them shouted out suddenly. "Geelyn Katz!"

"The Wild Grass?" the other timpal with squashed eyes.

Then the others started to remember Evelyn.

The talent diggers laughed and instantly the room turned cheerful. They greeted Evelyn and teased her without reproach.

"Wait a minute!" between the owners of the crystal ball among their friendly laughter. "I recognize the uniform" he said.

"Sure!" the other timpal joked. "Who does not know the elite school of the dreamers!"

Down the stairs came an older man of tall stature, strong, and of course like a king at his age who may have stepped forty years, with all his good looks and good looks.

Those talent diggers led Evelyn towards the man.

"Well remember that kid we told you about?" the owner of the crystal ball said to the man. "Spiritual power is full of nature, but the fairy is her protector.." the man hung up his sentence and shrugged.

The man turned his head at a glance, then went down a few more steps and finally joined them. He looked at Evelyn with his eyebrows intertwined.

"Geelyn Katz!" one of the talent diggers introduced Evelyn to the man. "Evelyn, this is Master Helios!"

Evelyn bowed to the man.

"Are you guys sure this kid came for a follow-up test and not for the generation of a protective fairy?" helios asked unsure.

Those talent diggers exchanged glances with each other.

"We awakened the guardian fairy," the crystal ball owner took over the answer. "Please check it out!" he said as he bowed and raised one of his hands towards Evelyn.

Helios twisted her body while glancing at Evelyn, "Follow me!" he instructed Evelyn, then walked towards the corridor on the side of the stairs.

Evelyn bowed to the talent diggers and rushed after Helios.

"See you later, Evelyn!" the talent diggers exclaimed in unison.

"This is the lowest level of the Branch Hall of the Order of Angelos" Helios told. "In the Elf Country, even in a small town even has the Hall of the Order of Angelos with this scale. Above the Branch Hall, there was the Descendant Hall, and above it was the Main Hall. The Main Hall only owned a big city."

Evelyn turned her head and smiled faintly in response to Helios. Don't know what to say.

Their steps had already reached another room on the left wing of the building.

"In the second capital of the empire was the Second Branch Hall," Helios continued his explanation after they reached the altar where a giant crystal ball floated atop a large silver chalice as tall as an adult's head. "Level one is the Hall of Noble Hall, it is the holiest place of the Order of Angelos. Actually, above the Noble Hall there was still the Ancestral Hall. Only the supreme Spiritual Master is entitled to enter there. It was the dream place of all Spiritual Masters."

"Thank you for telling me" Evelyn said, bowing respectfully.

Their steps stopped in front of the giant cup.

"Can we start?" evelyn asked as she glanced towards the giant crystal ball.

"Young people today are very impatient" grumbled Helios.
