Poison Eve

Poison Eve
Chapters-37

"You go with Xen to the points exchange section" Nazareth instructed as they walked along the corridor to the main lobby of the multipurpose building followed by Poison Eve supporters behind them.

Some nobles chased them. "Master! Let us treat you to celebrate Miss Eve's victory!"

Nazareth and Xenephon were forced to stop in response to their hospitality.

"See her posture!" exclaimed a round-bodied middle-aged woman while scattering towards Evelyn happily.

Several other women joined Evelyn's crowd.

Nazareth spontaneously exchanged glances with Xenephon.

"Look at her nose, her lips, her chin" the middle-aged woman said. "I'm sure behind the mask is a real fairy face. God is really fair. If I had only half of Miss Eve's beauty I'd be sure I'd be a bad woman!"

Xenephon glanced at Evelyn as the noblewomen giggled around Evelyn, while the men swarmed around Nazareth for approval.

"Time's still long, Sirs, Ladies!" Nazareth bowed at them.

So did Xenephon and Evelyn.

"Give us some time to evaluate" Nazareth said. "We promise to join the tavern in a few hours."

"Alright, then we won't bother you anymore." One of the noble men took over the conversation while bowing politely.

"We don't mind waiting for you in a few hours" another chimpanzee with the same bow of respect.

The women looked flirtatiously at Nazareth and Xenephon as they finally bowed and pleaded.

Evelyn exhaled heavily with a frustrated look on her face as the noble ladies giggled after a few steps leaving them while glancing at Nazareth.

"Go, Eve!" nazareth's orders once again. "Change your points first. I still have a little business."

Evelyn stuttered and licked her lower lip, then glanced at Xenephon doubtfully.

"I believe I won't bite!" goda Xenephon wrapped his arm around Evelyn's shoulder and dragged the girl away from Nazareth.

Evelyn glanced over her shoulder as Nazareth turned back to them and walked in the opposite direction. Then he drowned into the crowd.

At the top of the second-floor staircase on the other side of the arena, the building's owners greeted them flanked by two scantily clad young women.

"Come!" take the glamorous-dressed middle-aged man to Evelyn and Xenephon while floating one of his hands towards the corridor to his left. "The point exchange is here."

Evelyn and Xenephon followed the man, who was automatically led by the two women.

At the end of the corridor, a double door opened, and another row of similarly dressed young women bowed towards them.

Right at the end of the room, there is another reception desk that is guarded by two more mature women in more elegant uniforms. One of the women handed a piece of charter document to the owner of the building, and the owner handed it to Evelyn.

"This is your points list, Miss Eve!" said the building owner. "Please check if something is wrong!"

Xenephon bowed to Evelyn's side to look at Evelyn's two-day points and gasped.

Poison Eve, Evelyn Katz. One on one spiritual battle. Three times won. Zero times to lose.

The first fight was against a seven-time champion in a row, a forward-looking Spiritual Master level twenty-one. Win in seventeen minutes. Earning points, one thousand five hundred twenty-four.

The second fight was against the eight-time champion in a row, the power-type Spiritual Master and the twenty-third level defense. Win in nineteen minutes. Earning points, one thousand six hundred and sixty-two.

The third fight was against the nine-time champion in a row, the attacking-type Spiritual Master beside level twenty-five. Win in five minutes. Earning points, one thousand nine hundred twenty-three.

Total points, five thousand one hundred nine.

Evelyn glanced at Xenephon with her eyebrows intertwined. Then look at the owner of the building.

The owner of the building nodded with a big smile. "Yes, Master!" he said politely. He then raised one of his hands towards the other two women carrying trays.

The two women bowed towards Evelyn while thrusting their respective trays.

Evelyn stared at the golden trident-shaped badge. "Gold level?" his hisses can't believe it.

"This is the ten thousand gold coins that the arena promised to the first champion" continued the building owner while pointing at the other tray. "This black card can be used in all banks."

Evelyn was still stuttering.

The women smiled at Evelyn with a mixture of admiration and respect.

"Miss Eve is a wonder of the world" praised the building's owner. "Level thirteen, the plant-protective elf, but could grab the Gold-Level Spiritual Master Badge in three rounds of debutant combat. It is feared, in the World Spiritist Arena, no one has ever risen in level like you."

Evelyn looked at Xenephon with her eyes and mouth rounded, still speechless.

"Are you the guardian, Master?" the owner of the building raised his eyebrows politely.

Xenephon blinked and stammered. "Not me!" answer stammered. "But.." he hung up his sentence for a moment before finally continuing, "Nazareth Vox."

"Vox Nazareth?" the women gasp.

The owner of the building frowned. "People who've published the Ten Core Powers Theory of the Guardian Fairy?"

"Yes," replied Xenephon. His attitude seemed calmer now.

The owner of the building turned to Evelyn with his eyebrows intertwined. "Miss, may I know, from what monster fairy you got your first spiritual chakra?"

"Four hundred years of complaining dragon" Evelyn replied.

The building owner and the women in the room again shrieked.

It turned out that the dragon was complaining, Xenephon thought no less surprised. No wonder his third technique was a burst of fire!

"Linking the fairy chakra of animal-type monsters to the plant-type protective elf." murmured the building owner. "It was one of the ten core strength theories of the protective fairy!"

"Yes, Sir!" Evelyn responded politely. "My guardian calls her a copycat's protective fairy."

"True," said the owner of the building with a look of astonishment. "I remember now" he said. "I've read it."

Evelyn glanced at Xenephon and exchanged a smile with the man.

Little Girl! You really make me feel touched to the point of wanting to cry, Xenephon thought among her faint smile.

"Ah—" the owner of the building stuttered suddenly. "I apologize for taking your time" he said, cupping his hands in front of his face.

Evelyn and Xenephon bowed together.

"It's no big deal, sir!" Evelyn responded.

"By the way, congratulations, Miss Eve!" The building owner added, shaking Evelyn's hand.

The women bowed again to Evelyn.

"Thank you" Evelyn said. Then beg for yourself.

"Vox Nazareth!" hiss was the owner of the building after Evelyn and Xenephon left the room. Then look at the women around him. "I regret ever underestimating his theory!" he confessed.
