In the vision of Nazareth…

Evelyn lay on the ground in a pool of blood with her shoulder torn apart.

Migi Vox bowed over Evelyn's head.

"The fox!" Nazareth growled furiously, then lunged towards Migi Vox and ensnared the puppet with a thread of light from the tip of his fingers, pulling it into his grasp and gripping the puppet in full force, he said, trying to break the doll.

Migi Vox thrashed in his grasp, casting a heartbreaking gaze.

Nazareth looked at him with squinted eyes and tightened his jaw. Anger is taking hold of him again. Sadness cut through the recesses of his heart, destroying his entire nearly recovered consciousness.

With the body trembling with anger mixed with immeasurable pain, he tightened his grip by exerting all the power of light he possessed.

Migi Vox flares twitching.

"Nazareth.." Evelyn's voice sizzled out from Migi Vox's suffocating mouth. "Conscious!"

Nazareth gasped and flabbergasted.

"Be aware.." Migi Vox squeezed in his grasp, then drooped and did not move anymore.

"Eve?" Nazareth flinched and loosened his grip. Something in his hand was not Migi Vox, but his lover's neck. "No!" hisses wirih. The Demon Heart Stick slipped out of his other hand, then creased away and became Migi Vox again, then flung and fell rolling on the ground.

Evelyn drooped with a pale face and closed eyes.

Nazareth bent down grabbed the girl by the waist and grabbed her, hugged her tightly, then howled with his head looking up. "Yetoooooo!"

The people who were falling around him started to move, inching and coughing.

Nazareth looked and gasped.

The whole place around him was ravaged like a tsunami. Or worse!

What the hell's going on? thought surprised.

Rock fragments strewn with hundreds of low-level monster fairies—drew and piled up.

Migi Vox rolled and pulled up his body, then stepped back towards Nazareth, then crawled up to his shoulder.

Nyx Cornus and Xenephon approached them in a row, followed by Lady Die and the children of their assets. Arsen Heart and Salazar Lotz followed later.

Now they were all swarming around Nazareth who was shaking in his arms hugging the unmoving Evelyn.

Xenephon dropped himself on Evelyn's side, then grabbed the girl's wrist and checked her pulse. Then sit cross-legged with a loud breath. With a very alarming body condition, he tried to concentrate all the remaining light energy into his palm, then pressed his palm on the top of Evelyn's head to channel the recovery Manna.

Nazareth blinked and looked at Xenephon with eyes squinting, surprised to find his condition. "You hurt?" whispered in a choked voice.

Nyx Cornus and Lady Die simultaneously groaned while twirling her eyeballs with a look of disgust.

The next second, Evelyn gasped and coughed.

And so is Xenephon. The man pulled his hand and coughed, spewing blood again, then drooped.

Nyx Cornus and Arsen Heart spontaneously rushed towards the man and captured his body, leaving him and leaning him against the cliff wall.

Evelyn blinked and opened her eyes, but her body was still sprawled and trembling.

Simultaneously, a number of high-level giant monster elves scattered towards them from various corners of the place.

Everyone gasped and some of them even jumped to their feet and put up the horses. Lady Die and Salazar Lotz!

But one of the goliaths brushed them off with just a flick of his hand and instantly the two guardians slammed some distance away from where they were. The goliath crouched down in front of Nazareth and bowed towards Evelyn.

Nazareth spontaneously looked up at the goliath angrily.

But the goliath ignored him. He snatched Evelyn from Nazareth's arms, scooped the girl into his lap, and it looked like Migi Vox in Nazareth's lap.

But Evelyn then rebukes him, "Just enough!"

Nazareth was silent.

"Who taught me to stay calm even if your most important person is in danger?" evelyn spray is fierce.

Nazareth gulped and gulped.

All eyes were glaring at Nazareth.

"Whether you believe it or not," Evelyn said in a choked voice. "The monster fairies are only trying to help us!"

The goliath looked down at Evelyn as he rubbed the girl's head with his knuckles.

Nazareth froze with a wrinkled face. Sadness cut through the recesses of his heart once again. He looked around with trembling eyelids, examining one after another the faces around him.

Everyone gasps. Everyone looks tired and sweaty. Everyone looks pale. Everyone is screwed!

What have I done? Nazareth wondered in his heart.

Simultaneously, the imperial bodyguards in charge of guarding the Monster Fairy Hunt Forest approached them. The bodyguards also looked just as glassy as everyone and a number of low-level monster elves scattered around them.

The bodyguards crouched down and bowed to Nazareth with the respect of the soldiers.

Nazareth just blinked. His face still looks shocked.

Victoria, along with her guards, slipped down behind the goliath, and bowed in unison to Nazareth.

"Please let us take care of you" Victoria asked in a language only Evelyn understood, and of course Nazareth.

Evelyn's friends stared at them with expressions of confusion and fear, their guardians stuttering.

The goliath pulled up his body while still holding Evelyn.

Nazareth jumped to his feet and tightened his jaws, preparing to spurt out his anger again.

"Earth.." Xenephon reprimanded him in a weak voice.

Nazareth fell silent at once, but his gaze would not escape from the goliath.

The goliath was sitting near the cave that was originally inhabited by the vampire fairy clan— has now become their grave. He dropped himself near the cave, leaned his back against the cliff wall, then rubbed Evelyn's head with his knuckles once more. Like a mother trying to put her baby to sleep.

Nazareth clenched his hands while tightening his jaws. Even goliath made her jealous!

"Be at your age, Old Man!" taunted Xenephon with a gasp of breath.

Nazareth glanced at him with a sullen face. But then a rude sigh and give up. Then it charged to another place, leaping over the stone steps on the cliff wall, then landed on the top of a low stone hill and sat cross-legged to recuperate. Migi Vox jumped down from his shoulder, then moved onto his lap and sat cross-legged mimicking his movements. Then the two of them fluttered like Buddha statues.

The imperial bodyguards were still frozen in their respective places, still crouching in a respectful position, then glanced at each other and circulated a glance. For a moment, none of the bodyguards knew what to do.

Then Xenephon took out the plate of the Order of Angelos and pointed it at them. "I'm Xenephon Claus!" said. "Vice-chairman of the Order of Angelos."

The bodyguards spontaneously moved from their respective places, then bowed respectfully to Xenephon.

"I represent the Order of Angelos will restore this place as soon as possible" Xenephon said with a choked voice from a stab of pain all over his body. "No need to report to the Emperor!" he added. He then turned towards Nazareth. "The prince is with us!"
