Poison Eve

Poison Eve
Chapter 47

"Master.." Xena Moz crouched on the floor and bowed towards Lady Die. Next to his hand was clenched on the floor, while the other hand was clenched in front of his chest, saluting the soldiers.

After her fight with Evelyn, all the members of Lady Die's top ten class group were gathered in the dugout.

Lady Die stood up her nose, turning her back to Xena Moz with both hands tied behind her body. His face looks tight and haunted. The children of his other assets stiffened behind Xena Moz with the same kneeling attitude.

"Sorry," said Xena Moz with a grim look.

"Good job, Xena!" lady Die said beyond expectation.

The children of his assets spontaneously exchanged glances, casting uncertain gazes.

Lady Die turned her body facing towards them, and instantly the children were bowed. "You're in the top ten, Xena!" he told Xena Moz, his face still looks tight and his tone remains as cold as ever. But the light in his eyes was a little soft. "Congratulations!"

Xena glanced at her comrades. The asset's children nodded briefly in encouragement.

At the same time, in the alley between the rows of spectator benches, Altair ran after Evelyn who had just come out of the arena flanked by Xenephon and Nyx Cornus.

Reaching the academy's side terrace, Altair shouted at the girl in a loud voice that automatically made Evelyn and the two guardians on her left-right jerk their heads and turn towards Altair.

Altair approached them panting, then bowed to Xenephon and Nyx Cornus.

The two guardians nodded briefly and left Evelyn.

"This time you can't refuse my invitation," pinta Altair, still slightly panting. "I want to celebrate our victory."

Evelyn finally smiled and agreed.

The two rushed to the cafeteria. Xena Moz joined them at their table after he came out of the break room.

Lady Die glanced at the girl as she was about to climb the stairs towards the second floor, then glanced at Evelyn beside her. He let out a short sigh and shook his head briefly, then moved to the second floor.

"I hope you let out your chakras when we meet in the arena," Altair told Evelyn.

"Oh, I can't wait for it either" Xena said enthusiastically.

Evelyn smiled as she chewed her food. "Only if you have passed level twenty and want to promise not to disappoint my moment of civilisation shows a spiritual chakra" he said. "I'll try to hold it off until I fight you."

"How about your opponent before that Cleon Jace?" Xena asked worriedly. "She was one of the strongest of the protective fairy's owners of weapons."

"Right," Altair chimed in. "His patron's gavel is a hammer."

"I've seen her battle technique in the second half" Evelyn said. "Type of strength and defense," he added in a slow murmur, more audible to himself. "The level has reached twenty-six."

Altair and Xena nodded simultaneously.

"I will try to make my moment of fief take out a spiritual chakra while fighting with you" Evelyn promised Altair.

Altair smiled and nodded enthusiastically.

Xena clenched her hands in front of Evelyn's cheering face.

Claus Manor, City of Light…

Mikhail and his wife stood face-to-face with each of them holding the stance of the horses.

They were now in the basement that they used to practice from time to time.

Aunt Gavriil developed both her hands on her sides, took out her spiritual chakra and protective fairy-a transparent sea-blue dragon, then nodded towards her husband.

Mikhail did the same and took out a black dragon protective elf who slowly merged himself with his wife's dragon to form the taijitu symbol or better known in terms of yin and yang.

The two different-colored dragons circled above Nazareth's head while Mikhail and his wife began to move their hands, feet, and legs, their waists and entire bodies formed the symbols and moves typical of spiritual martial artists.

The dim streaks of light began to appear forming a circular pattern of disc-shaped light with strange symbols from each round of the two collaborating dragons, hovering above Nazareth's head and settling on the floor surrounded the young man.

The next second, the two circles formed a transparent tube with two black and white colors on either side, confining the bodies of Nazareth and Migi Vox.

The bodies of Nazareth and Migi Vox began to droop and drift inside the transparent tube, Migi Vox in a dark line, Nazareth in a light line, then both of them were floating like in water.

Nazareth began to sink into his unconsciousness.

And as his consciousness gradually recovered and opened his eyes, he found himself already in his room at the academy. Nazareth squinted his eyes to focus his still blurry gaze, trying to make himself completely aware. His consciousness is still drowning. His head felt light and light.

He looked at it again. The whole place around him has not changed. He was in his room at the academy.

Suddenly Nazareth jerked his body and sat down. Then back to looking. "The fox!" the peckers started to panic.

Migi Vox was not there.

Nazareth jumped from his seat and rushed out, then ran towards Evelyn's room.

The girl's bedroom door opened.

Nazareth burst inward and was stunned.

The girl was lying on the floor in the middle of a pool of blood with one shoulder torn off.

Migi Vox bowed over Evelyn's head.

"The fox!" Nazareth growled furiously, then lunged towards Migi Vox and ensnared the puppet with a thread of light from the tip of his fingers, pulling it into his grasp and gripping the puppet in full force, he said, trying to break the doll.

And it felt like pulling off his own hand.

Migi Vox thrashed in his grasp, casting a heartbreaking gaze.

Nazareth looked at him with squinted eyes and tightened his jaw. Anger rules him. Sadness slashed his heart, destroying all consciousness and control over him beyond what he could imagine.

The pain grazed his wrist, his veins seemed to be torn and his nerve points were throbbing to burst. But he did not try to release his grip.

With a body trembling from anger mixed with immeasurable pain, he tightened his grip by exerting all the power of light he possessed.

Migi Vox lit up in twitches, which grew brighter and brighter until the light finally burst into pieces.

BLAAARRR!

That burst of light made the entire place just look white.

Mikhail and Gavriil bounced in the opposite direction until they were thrown against the wall and slumped on the floor.

Nazareth collapsed with his face down.

Gavriil coughed until he vomited a lump of blood from his mouth.

Mikhail gasped for breath holding his chest, then forced his body to stand up, then approached his wife and helped her up.
