Ryanthi: Sweet Cake, Bitter Reality

Ryanthi: Sweet Cake, Bitter Reality
● FORTY SEVEN : Growing Confidence

Around nine in the morning, Adrian came to pick up Ryanthi. The plan, he will accompany the girl to visit Farida's grave.

Upon arriving at their destination, Ryanthi and Adrian walk together to the center of Ryanthi's mother. The conditions are quite alarming.

The tomb has not been moved to the family cemetery. Because Ryanthi and Surya do not visit regularly, they do not know that there is a lot of weeds growing around the resting place of the Farida slag.

After spending some time there, Ryanthi takes Adrian home. At that time, the weather was also getting hot. However, on the way home, Ryanthi continued to appear moody. That made Adrian take the initiative to take him elsewhere.

Adrian takes Ryanthi to a mall. There, she follows her lover wherever she wants. Including, when entering one of the jewelry stores.

"Look. It's so pretty that ring" Ryanthi points to the ring with a real diamond.

"When did you like jewelry?" adrian asked in surprise, when Ryanthi asked the shopkeeper to get the ring.

"Eitherway. I was just suddenly interested in seeing it," Ryanthi replied lightly.

"You can earn for twenty million only, Madam. Special offers from our store," said the shopkeeper's friendly woman.

Ryanthi instantly sculpted for a while. "Twenty million?" reworked.

"Yes, Madam. It was a special offer for this month" explained the shopkeeper again.

"Oh, yeah." Ryanthi smiled stiffly. He put the ring back. Afterwards, Ryanthi takes Adrian away. "God. It's expensive" he said when he was outside.

Meanwhile, Adrian just smiled in response to the words of the lover. He returns to accompany Ryanthi on a walk exploring the shopping.

By late afternoon, the two had just returned home. Adrian didn't let Ryanthi get off the vehicle. As usual, she asked for a kiss ration she had not gotten that day.

"One more time," Adrian pinta. He seemed dissatisfied after kissing Ryanthi for a while.

"Get it," Ryanthi replied.

"Hey, just think of it as a fare because it has taken you here and there," said Adrian indifferently. He laughed softly. "Don't forget, tomorrow night. Invite Surya and Maya to come to my mother's place." Adrian reminded me again.

"Yes. Just chill. I told dad about it. He agreed." Ryanthi smiled gently. "Yes, already. Can I come down now?"

"May, but give me one more kiss" replied Adrian naughty.

"Yes, God." Ryanthi shakes her head not understanding.

Without feeling it, the time of day has changed. After dinner, Surya invites Ryanthi to have a conversation together. Maya prefers to return to her room after dinner.

"Dad already took care of everything for the departure to France. Likewise with administrative and other costs. Incidentally, Dad had a friend there. Later, he'll help you while in Paris. He speaks fluent English. So, you don't have to worry," Surya explained.

"Thank you, Dad," Ryanthi replied. He immediately hugged his father. "Don't forget also, tomorrow night we get an invitation to dinner from Adrian's mother."

Ryanthi shook her head slowly. "I haven't had the time to tell him, yet" the girl replied hesitantly.

"You should tell him right away, because you have only about half a month left before you have to go there. May he accept and understand your wishes. Because, you will be separated for approximately three years with a distance of thousands of miles away," said Surya calm, even though he seemed to be able to feel Ryanthi's anxiety. Surya can clearly see the change in Ryanthi's face which immediately looks grim.

"I'll tell him right away, Dad," Ryanthi said. He tried to look calm by showing a smile in front of Surya.

"Yes, that should be so. Adrian should know. I don't know what his reaction will be like, but I'm sure he'll support you fully. I've known him for a long time."

Ryanthi smiled again. At least, this time he got an injection of spirit from the father. Ryanthi nodded confidently. He'll tell Adrian as soon as possible.

"Oh, yes. Can you get someone to clean mom's grave? There's a lot of weeds in there."

"The plan is to move your mother's grave to the family cemetery. But I haven't been able to take care of everything. Don'worry. I'll do my best." Surya stroked Ryanthi's head.

The night wind was not too strong. As usual, Ryanthi stood on the balcony alone. He looked up, as if looking for something he could enjoy from the darkness that enveloped him.

A slow puff of breath slid down from Ryanthi's lips. He turned his head, when he felt a delicate touch on his shoulders. Ryanthi smiles. "Mother," said.

This was what Ryanthi liked the most, when Farida came to visit him. However, until now Ryanthi still does not understand whether it is really real or just a dream.

"Congratulations, Son. Soon, all your ideals will be realized soon," said Farida softly. He moved next to Ryanthi. Stand while enjoying the quiet and soothing night sky.

"It feels like a dream, Mom," Ryanthi said with a look of disbelief. "I will soon be going to France to make my dream come true. The dream of both of us." Ryanthi grabbed Farida, then leaned her head on the left shoulder of the woman.

"Mom was happy to hear that. That way, you can also feel much calmer," Farida said as she patted Ryanthi's cheek.

They were silent for a moment. Both are lost in each other's minds. Ryanthi is putting together a word that she will later convey to Adrian. However, the more he tried to arrange a strand of explanation for the man, in fact Ryanthi's brain felt increasingly frozen.

I don't know what kind of response Adrian will be. Why does Ryanthi feel hesitant, even afraid to express his great intentions to the lover?

"According to Mom, will Adrian let me go?" That question sounded very stupid from Ryanthi, because he was passing it to Farida.

"You think I know the answer?" Farida asked back. The woman smiled a little.

"Come, Ma. However, I felt so afraid to tell him," Ryanthi said hesitantly.

"Do you think Adrian wouldn't agree? Not likely. Don't you know enough about his character?"

"Yes. He's open-minded and ...." Ryanthi paused her words. "Give me confidence, ma'am," he asked, while facing Farida completely.

"Confidence is in you and your heart, son. You can grow it, without having to ask anyone else."
