Ryanthi: Sweet Cake, Bitter Reality

Adrian parked his car in the front yard of the Surya residence. Putting one of his hands on the wheel, he looked at Ryanthi with his gray eyes. Ryanthi just smiled at him.

"So, how? When can I submit my job application?" ask Ryanthi.

Looks like he's so serious about working at Adrian's.

Adrian smiled crisply in response to that question. "How, huh? After a moment of thought ..." he paused for a moment, "i think it would be better if you worked in my kitchen alone," he continued, making Ryanthi instantly swerve sharply at him. While Adrian just laughed amusedly in response.

"Don't forget to tell your father about what we talked about. I want answers as soon as possible" Adrian said.

Ryanthi looked over and smiled. "Why don't you just talk to yourself, aren't you close friends and very familiar?" Ryanthi. He wanted to test to where Adrian's courage was.

Adrian just complained long. He took a few short breaths. "Come, Ryanthi. Please don't act like that. Your father and I were friends. However, for this one business, I must gather all my courage first. I'm so embarrassed" he whispered.

Ryanthi put on a slight smile at the corner of her lips. The girl also scrunched her forehead. "Let me accompany you if you want. Anyway, why should I be ashamed? Hasn't you been talking casually with my father all this time? Since when did you become a shy person? " Ryanthi flocked Adrian with a lot of questions. However, behind all that, he was also giving Adrian spirit.

Adrian can only look at the girl. He did not want to argue, after all he should have spoken directly to Surya, instead of telling Ryanthi. But this is something new to him. He had never done anything like that before.

"Alright," replied Adrian steady. He follows Ryanthi down from his car and into the house to meet Surya.

Incidentally, because that afternoon Surya was sitting around with Maya and also their first grandson, Padma. Ryanthi immediately invites Adrian to meet them in the family room. Seeing the arrival of the two of them, Surya and Maya seem very happy.

Adrian sits on the sofa facing Surya and Maya. While Ryanthi, engrossed in playing with little Padma. Not long after, Vera came to them.

Adrian and Surya were heard talking to and fro before the gray-eyed man finally expressed his true intentions. "Me and Ryanthi have been in a relationship for a long time, and you know that, too. Therefore, I intend to propose to Ryanthi,"

adrian said with great confidence.

Ryanthi blushed hearing that, especially since Vera glanced at him mischievously. The two girls from Surya Wijaya were both smiling.

Of course Surya strongly agreed with that, although in the end he returned the decision to Ryanthi as the most entitled to refuse or accept the proposal. As for Ryanthi, the girl was just smiling.

"There's a chance Ryanthi turned him down, Pa," Maya interrupted, glancing at the princess.

"If Ryanthi has agreed, we as Ryanthi's parents agree. Moreover, I have been close to Mas Adrian," said Surya made Adrian glance at the owner of the beautiful face in red with the face and sparkling eyes.

Adrian's happiness is immeasurable because he has received permission to step into a more serious level with Ryanthi. Early in the morning he got up, exercised, and ended up swimming. After that, he was so happy to sunbathe to warm his body. Without realizing it, Indira came to him.

I was going to take him today or maybe tomorrow" Adrian replied without looking at Indira. He was enjoying the sunshine he had never felt this warm in the days before Ryanthi returned.

"You're always looking for excuses. You know Mama misses that girl so much?"

Adrian turned his head for a moment to the woman who now looked annoyed at him. He laughed too softly.

"I miss him a lot more, and I don't want to share it with anyone else yet" Adrian replied lightly. He seemed unaware that he was talking to the woman who had given birth to him.

"Including Mama?" ask Indira.

"Adrians!" call Indira. The woman put on a face of dislike with the attitude of Adrian who left her just like that.

Adrian stopped his steps and looked.

"I'll have breakfast after the shower" he said with a calm smile to Indira. He continued his steps towards the room. While Indira was very curious about what Adrian would tell her.

He can only guess. But she hopes it is a sweet surprise for her.

"So soon you'll be Madame Adrian Winata" seduced Vera as she fed the Padma she was sitting on her dining chair. Ryanthi smiles. He also played with his little nephew.

"By the way, yesterday Arshan was promoted to the promotion," said Vera happy.

Ryanthi looked over with a radiant face. "Really?" he convinced Vera.

Vera nodded confidently. " Arshan himself said. However, he felt a little afraid that it happened because your relationship with Adrian was not because of his work achievements" replied Vera again.

Ryanthi did not answer. Admittedly if he ever discussed the matter with Adrian. However, he never asked Adrian to do anything, let alone raise his position. Ryanthi used to play games with Adrian.

"Arshan has been working there for a long time, that's all I know. He is also very competent in his field. So I think with or without my recommendation, he should have gotten a promotion with a much larger income. Aye right?" ryanthi.

Vera agrees with mangosteen. "I'm happy because everything in this house is so much better. My relationship with Arshan, your relationship with my mama, and finally Adrian actually proposed to you. That afternoon, Surya escorts Ryanthi on a pilgrimage to Farida's new tomb. As promised, he had already made Farida's final resting place look much more worthy.

Ryanthi took a deep breath as she squatted near the gravestone under the name "Alfarida Aryanthi Wijaya" Her mother's now much more presentable figure with white granite. Ryanthi also sprinkled the flowers that he brought on top of the navel.

"Mom, I'm home" she said.

"I've come back to start and shape my future as I expected. I also wanted to tell mom, if Adrian asked me to be his wife. He's been talking to me, and I think I totally agree. I hope Mom will bless us too" as Ryanthi wiped the clear hairs that started dripping down her cheeks. While Surya just stood beside the girl and continued to pay attention to her.

"I'm sorry I didn't get to see Adrian. He is a very annoying guy and likes to play orders. He doesn't like it when I argue with him, and he'll snap at me if I piss him off.

However, he is a very good man. He waited for me for three years, and when I came back he asked me to get married. Of course I want to. I accept it with pleasure. You know that I love her very much, and I can't possibly let her down because of a rejection even though I still want to be able to achieve my dreams but ... I can continue that later after I get married. I'm sure Adrian won't limit my life. He's a smart guy with his broad insight. I think he'll support me completely."
