SHAPESHIFTERS
The Part 27

From a distance, Marco watches over the land that will be his goal to temper his feet.

In addition to looking at Adaline's whereabouts, Marco must also be careful that no other shapeshifter sees her coming.

I don't know what will happen, if Marco gets caught by his Daddy brother, when he comes there.

Marco had no intention of fighting with him, and most of his desire was until he went to the place, only to dispel his great curiosity about the people.

If Marco can find his real Mommy, then even better.

After several times swirling over the coast, Marco could see a woman standing near the beach, taking shelter from the scorching sun, under one of the large trees, and seemed to be holding clothes.

Slowly, Marco reduced the flapping speed of his wings, and flew down, until he landed his claws, right in front of the woman.

A bit of beach sand raised, because the claws of Marco stepped on it quite rough, to make Adaline wagging her pants exposed to sand.

Marco changed his form in part, and smiled at Adaline who was standing in front of him.

Adaline looks confused when she sees Marco, and just goes silent while looking at Marco.

"That's my dress?" ask Marco.

"Eh! Da... It's!" answer Adaline stammered.

Adaline really looked surprised to see Marco, with her furrowed brows, and her enlarged eyes.

But, Marco is not too willing to think about Adaline's facial features, because she has to get dressed before she changes her overall shape, to become human.

Marco then took the clothes from Adaline's hand that stuck out toward him, and hurriedly put on his pants first.

Once his trousers were in place, Marco removed all the remaining hard fur on part of his body, and the wings on his back.

Marco continued to wear the shirt, which Adaline gave him, along with his pants, and a pair of boots.

The pair of clothes, felt a bit claustrophobic in his body, but Marco still wore them, rather than him having to be naked.

"Marco!" marco said, extending his hand, to invite Adaline to shake hands.

"We were not well acquainted yesterday" Marco continued.

Adaline flinched, then extended her hand, and welcomed Marco into her hand.

"How do you do it?" adaline asked, looking curious, and still holding on with a surprised, astonished look.

Marco raised his eyebrows, not understanding with the intent of Adaline's question.

"Eh! Ii'm sorry... Adaline!" said Adaline, who looked awkward, while shaking hands with Marco.

"Marco!" said Marco.

"I wonder, how can you maintain your form in part like that?" adaline continued, who again put on a look of confusion.

"Hmmm... Aren't we all the same?" ask Marco, who was confused.

"I never saw anyone who could do it" Adaline replied quickly.

"I don't know. All I know is that I could just, ", Marco said.

"Did your parents do it too?" asked Adaline, who looked still curious.

Marco was silent for a moment, while thinking of the right answer for him to say.

"My parents are dead." replied Marco quietly.

"I'm sorry." said Adaline.

Adaline looked as if she regretted her question to Marco, bowing her head for a moment, before raising her face again to look at Marco.

"It's okay. They died years ago" Marco said.

"What you did was great. As far as I know, no one lives here, who can hold its shape in part like that" Adaline said.

Marco was only speechless, looking at Adaline who spoke with such sparkling eyes, as if Adaline had greatly admired Marco's ability.

"Are you able to fly, in some form?" tanya Adaline seemed more interested, with what Marco could do.

"Yes. I can fly with some of my form still being human" Marco replied.

Adaline looked as if she was about to jump up in excitement, with a smile that broadened on her face.

"Great! Really great! Do you want to teach me how?" adaline.

"Hmmm... Ii'm sorry. But, I really don't know how, because I really just do it, '" Marco replied honestly.

For a moment, Adaline looks disappointed, but maybe she can feel that Marco is not lying, not how long, Adaline seems to have been able to smile again.

"Come, we're in!" take Adaline, while walking slowly into the forest.

Without saying anything, Marco also walked after Adaline, and walked side by side with her.

"We'll just go to my house!" chirps Adaline.

"okay!" replied Marco.

"I asked my parents last night. He said, indeed many of our people are separated from this place, which my parents do not know the cities where they live, since the eruption of the volcano in this place," said Adaline, said, while continuing to walk slowly.

"There should be a meeting, at the turn of Alpha. So, our whole people can come together. But, something happened, and Alpha died before there was a replacement" Adaline continued.

"Then, it means that there are still many of our people who live scattered in other areas?" ask Marco.

"Yes, according to my parents' story" Adaline replied.

"The volcano that erupted a few centuries ago, left many of our people in disarray, and fled to other places" Adaline continued.

"Then now who's Alpha, if there's no heir?" ask Marco.

"The Alpha brothers. Hmmmm... He held Alpha status by force, rather than no one taking the lead temporarily" Adaline replied.

"Who is in your house?" ask Marco.

"My parents, and my two brothers" Adaline replied.

"Why?" ask Adaline.

"Hmmm... Is it okay, if I suddenly visit your house?" ask Marco.

"Oohs... Its alright. I told my parents that one of us, who was from another city, was coming home. My family is happy to see you" Adaline replied.

"Does anyone else know of my arrival?" ask Marco carefully.

"Hey! You think I'm gonna divulge a secret?" adaline ketus.

"I'm sorry." said Marco quietly.

"No. Of course not. My family can also shut up. We understand what it's like to be considered a coward" Adaline said.

"What do you mean?" ask Marco.

"Our family also escaped from this place when the mountain erupted, then we returned after the conditions in this place had improved," said Adaline.

"Our guyut was considered a coward, for running away back then," Adaline continued.

"Hmmm... That's how it looks," said Marco.

"When did you guys come back to this place? What just now?" ask Marco.

"No. It has been almost twenty generations. But, we are still remembered as a cowardly family" Adaline replied.

"We have difficulty finding a partner in this place, because many reject us. So many of our family members, who went again to another city...

While the family members who remain here, many die in loneliness." continued Adaline, with a sad face.
