Part 83's

Marco felt uneasy in his seat, waiting for an answer from Nancy.

"Yes. Your mommy is alive" replied Nancy.

"Finally, you want to admit it.." continued Nancy slowly, with a look of a more calm face.

"How is he doing now?" ask Marco.

"I mean, you said earlier, that Mommy still misses me.." continued Marco hastily rectifying his question.

"Yes. If you want to visit her, you can go with me to the castle" replied Nancy.

"But... Isn't it, Alpha's surrogate and his followers are after me?" marco asked doubtfully.

"Hmmm... His followers, they're after you, but I don't think so with the replacement Alpha." replied Nancy.

"Hate-hate him to you, I think still greater love to his partner," continued Nancy.

Nancy then seemed to take a deep breath, then exhaled slowly.

"I can't actually confirm Alpha's path of mind...

What's clear is, if you want to visit your Mommy, as long as you go there with me, I don't think any of her followers will suspect you" Nancy said.

Marco was silent for a moment while thinking about something.

Maybe Marco can get a little extra information from Nancy, as long as Marco tries to approach the woman.

In fact, Marco could have met a surrogate Alpha with four eyes, without the need to confront his followers, if it was true that Nancy said, that Marco could visit the castle with him.

"Why don't you live in a castle?" ask Marco.

"Yes, Ma'am!" reply Bella.

"Ordinary man... Special!" said Nancy.

"Please drink the tea! Since then, you have been carried away with Alpha movements, so you have not had time to taste the drink," continued Nancy.

Bella then lifted the teacup in front of her, and took a sip.

"If I see. Bella means you already know all about the shapeshifter, and who you really are, so you can still look calm." said Nancy.

"Yes" Marco and Bella answered almost simultaneously.

"As long as I'm alive, I won't let Alpha's power shift away from its original offspring" Nancy said.

"What do you mean?" ask Marco.

"Substantiated alpha has no offspring. You're the only one who bequeathed Alpha blood that can continue the leadership, to bring the shapeshifter back to its former glory," Nancy replied.

"So, if I were to die in the hands of a surrogate Alpha, what would happen?" ask Marco.

"Didn't you understand? Most likely, one of the surrogate Alpha followers will challenge him while he's off guard" Nancy replied.

"That's why I said earlier, if I don't understand the mind-line of the substitute Alpha...

Did he really intend to kill you? And sever the Alpha bloodline. Or something is affecting it...

Marco is confused by Nancy's words, and he becomes convinced that the riddle within the Alpha family has no definitive answer at all.

"I've heard little stories about the relationship between Daddy, Alpha's replacement, and Mommy. But, what do you know, aside from the issue I heard?" ask Marco.

"Hmmm... How should I start?!" nancy said, furrowing her brows.

Nancy is seen lifting her tea cup and sipping it a little.

"What do you hear?" ask Nancy.

"Say, Daddy seduced Mommy, who was then the substitute Alpha couple," Marco replied.

"I don't think that's entirely true. If only my brother and his partner hadn't died by then, maybe they'd know better what's going on" Nancy said.

"I couldn't tell the difference between my nieces, but I guess what happened between the three, unlike the shadow of the other shapeshifter who saw it" Nancy continued.

"So what do you think happened?" marco asked curiously.

"Mommy-you... I think he did it on purpose, until the brothers got into a fight and your Daddy finally died in his brother's hands" Nancy replied.

Marco and Bella stared.

All this conjecture for conjecture that he got, really dizzying Marco's head.

"Did you explain further?" ask Marco.

"Hmmm... This is just my guess. So, I hope you don't believe it right away. Instead, make this a consideration. By comparing it to the story you heard outside" Nancy replied.

"The "alpha substitute came to the castle with a woman. Then, it wasn't until a few days before he stayed in the castle with the woman, the substitute Alpha then came out of the castle...

Of course no one knew where he went, because it was his habit to travel without a definite direction...

All of a sudden, within a day of Alpha's departure, the woman was already seen walking around with the previous Alpha" Nancy said, telling Marco's parents' story from her perspective.

"Now, I want to ask. Is it possible that the surrogate Alpha didn't tell her he was going on a trip to the woman?" ask Nancy.

"What do you think? Is that acceptable with common sense?" ask Nancy again.

Marco and Bella were silent.

"I don't think that's possible...

I'm sure that Alpha surrogate must have told his partner, and there's no way he'd just go quietly." Nancy answered her own question.

"Then, how could that woman be with the previous Alpha? While his partner is traveling," said Nancy.

"Hmmm... Maybe Mommy lied to Daddy who pretended to be his brother." Marco said.

"I don't think so. Because, he must have known that the substitute Alpha had a twin brother, since the first time he set foot in the castle...

And plus, there was no way he could not realize that it was not his real partner. Because, even though they are twin brothers, their nature and style are both much different...

Is it possible, he didn't feel weird talking to him, and then the previous Alpha didn't know anything about him?" said Nancy.

Nancy again sipped tea in her cup, which she was still holding.

"Oh, yes! I just remembered something... Did you know that your Mommy wasn't from the shapeshifters?" ask Nancy.

"Yes. I heard a little story that Mommy was an ordinary human being" Marco replied.

"Hmmm... I see, huh?!" said Nancy.

"But I don't think the woman is a human being either" Nancy continued.

Marco furrowed his brows.

"Why? What's the reason that you can think that he's not an ordinary man?" marco was confused.

"The shapeshifter and the common man will surely age, won't they?" ask Nancy.

Marco and Bella nodded their heads.

"Not with. I've met him a few times. The woman is not aging, although she could be affected by the shapeshifter curse," Nancy said.

"The problem is, no one knows what he is. Except for the replacement Alpha, and your late Daddy. Until everyone just thought that he was an ordinary human being" continued Nancy.
