The Part 44
Marco, along with Bella, spent time with the Graham family last night, until almost midnight, before they returned to Marco's house, and rested there.
Perhaps exhausted, this morning Bella was still asleep, when Marco was out of the house, and went to the farmhouse.
The stinging smell of animal feces disturbs the smell, because last afternoon Marco, who was busy at his wedding, did not take care of his agricultural warehouse.
Before milking the cows and cutting the eggs, Marco had to clean the cattle pens from the dirt, first.
While Marco was cleaning up the animal dung, Duke looked agitated.
Although the Duke did not bark, yet the duke seemed to be pacing back and forth, going in and out of the farm shed.
Marco had seen Duke's strange movements, but because he was still busy, and wanted to remove the unpleasant aroma from the farm warehouse as soon as possible, Marco did not want to check the situation outside.
For the umpteenth time, Marco saw Duke pacing around and quite disturbing Marco's attention.
"Duke! What's wrong with you, man?" ask Marco.
Duke this time stood near Marco, and seemed unwilling to move away from Marco, although for a few times, Marco almost hit him.
It's not unusual.
Duke's guts are very strange today.
Marco then flinched.
What don't-don't...
Marco took off the shovel he was holding, then ran out of the farm shed, and immediately headed home, with just a slip of boots and rubber pants, Marco hurriedly checked Bella in the room.
Bella seemed to be still asleep on the bed, Marco could breathe a little relieved, but her feelings had not been completely calm, and made her run back out.
Marco cast his gaze all over, which his eyes could reach.
After feeling fine, Marco looked up.
His feelings are not wrong.
In the sky there appeared to be eagles flying around in circles, and it seemed unnatural.
Marco was convinced that it was no ordinary eagle, because the Duke would not be afraid that it was just a bird.
Without waiting for long, Marco ran to the farm shed and took off his clothes there.
Marco changed his shape, then followed the eagle he saw in the air.
"Who are you? What are you doing here?" ask Marco, and prepare to attack.
"Quiet Marco! I'm Flints!" said the eagle, whom Marco approached earlier.
"Why did you come like this?" marco asked annoyed.
"I want to talk to you" Flints said.
"Can we talk quietly for a minute?" ask Flints.
Marco is still upset, due to the sudden arrival of Flints, and makes Marco feel anxious, because he thinks that it is Alpha's brother.
After a while, Marco swooped down and flew into the farmhouse, then put on his clothes again.
Marco then walked into the house, to pick up clothes for Flints to wear, before he swung his hand, and invited Flints to land.
Flints treads on the back of Marco's house, and wears the clothes Marco gave him.
"Did my arrival really bother you, until you almost attacked me earlier?" ask Flints.
"I don't usually take guests. Since I only live alone, it's only natural that I'm vigilant, right?" marco reasoned.
Flints seemed to be nodding his head, while lowering his gaze.
"Let's come with me in!" take Marco, then walk down the side of the house, and bring Flints in from the front door.
"Please sit!" marco said allow, then boil a little water, to brew coffee.
Marco is still preparing the coffee in the cup, Bella is seen coming out of the room, with her face puffy while yawning.
"Eh! Sorry, I didn't know you were coming to visit" Bella said.
Bella then approaches Marco, and takes over the job of Marco, who is about to make coffee to host Flints.
"Let me make it, baby! I'm sorry, I woke up bad luck" said Bella.
"No problem, honey... I know you must be exhausted. I can make my own coffee" Marco said.
"Honey...! Just let me!" bella said, glancing sideways for a while, as if she was pointing at Flints with her eyes, before she looked back at Marco.
Marco hugged Bella, kissed the woman on the forehead, then sat down at the table face to face with Flints.
"Is there something you want to talk about? Or just a walk?" ask Marco.
"Both. Am I interrupting your work?" ask Flints.
"No" answered Marco.
"But it seems that my arrival is disturbing. I was looking at you as if you were busy in another building" Flints said.
"Every morning, I do take care of my cattle" Marco said.
"Hmmm... How interesting! Can I see it?" ask Flints.
Marco then fell silent for a moment.
Despite Flints arrival, feeling a little suspicious, Marco agrees to Flints' wish, to see his cattle up close.
"Do you want to go there? But, I was working. Doesn't matter?" ask marco.
"Hmmm... Ja. I'm curious about the way you raise farm animals" Flints replied.
"Darling...! I went with Flints to the farm shed for a bit. When we get back, we drink coffee" Marco told Bella.
"Oh, Okay!" Bella.
Marco then stood up from his seat, and invited Flints to come with him.
"Let's go!" bring Marco.
The rubber pants and boots left by Marco were marked in his house, then worn again, before continuing to walk to the farm shed.
The cattle were calm, and were mediocre when Marco entered with Flints.
"You don't want to say anything?" flints asked, after a while they were in there.
"What should I say?" marco asked, shoveling animal waste, and putting it in a special wagon, without seeing Flints.
"With you, these animals are not afraid of me" Flints said.
"Hmmm... So, what do you mean? I don't understand the direction of your conversation" Marco said.
"Right now you look like an Alpha" Flints said.
"What reason do you say that?" marco asked, still pretending to know nothing.
"If you want to try it, you can go out and leave me alone with these animals. And you'll understand what I mean" Flints said.
"What will happen?" ask Marco.
"They're all bound to jump in fear" replied Flints.
"okay! Thenwhat? That doesn't prove anything" Marco said.
"Only an Alpha can keep a real animal calm, when near a shapeshifter," Flints said.
"Because instinctively, they know that Alpha will not do anything to them" Flints continued.
"Hmmm... That's a good story" Marco said flatly.
"Do you still not understand?" ask Flints.
"What do I not understand?" ask Marco.
"It feels like there is nothing strange that pets are not afraid of others, because they feel that their owners are looking after them" Marco continued.
"I'm not someone else. Shapeshifter is no ordinary person. We are much stronger than the real animals. If it wasn't for Alpha, they would all have died of fear by now" Flints said.
