SHAPESHIFTERS
The Part 95
"Hello!" greet Marco, after attaching the phone handle to his ear.
"Hello, Marco!" greet Nancy from across.
"Can you come here now?" ask Nancy.
Marco looked at the faces of the three shapeshifters standing nearby in turn.
"They're doing a shift in guard, because the replacement Alpha is back in the west tower" Nancy continued.
"good. I'm there now!" replied Marco.
"But, Grandma! Can I take Beta, Gamma and Delta with us?" ask Marco.
Nancy did not answer Marco's question for a while while Marco waited.
"Grandmas?" ask Marco.
"Could... Let's try it!" answer Nancy.
"good. We're getting ready to leave. Thanks, Grandma!" marco then disconnected the phone call.
Marco took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly.
"Call Fint and Fent! Also, Seba to gather here! Then, wait a minute, I want to say goodbye to Bella" Marco said.
Marco then walks into the room, and meets Bella.
"Darling! I'm going to the main settlement shapeshifter now," Marco said.
Bella gets out of bed and hugs Marco.
"Hmmm... Ja. Be careful on the road!" said Bella.
"Are you sure you're going to stay here?" ask Marco.
"Why? Are Beta, Gamma and Delta, coming with you?" Bella asked back.
"Yes" answered Marco.
"Good! If they take care of you, I'm not too worried... And you don't have to worry about me either...
Nothing is going to happen, in a while...
But, if you still feel doubtful, I will go to my parents' house after Adaline comes home" Bella said.
"It's up to you, where you can feel more comfortable," Marco said, then kissed Bella for some time.
Bella then walks out of the room with Marco.
Seba, Fint and Fent, Beta, Gamma and Delta are waiting for Marco.
"You remember what I taught you about the shapeshifter's weak point, right?!" said Marco.
"Yes," replied Seba Fint and Fent together.
"Tell Adaline about it, if she's home!
If a substitute Alpha comes here, use it to defeat them...
No need to change shape into a large animal. Enough to be an agile animal, then you can definitely drop them," said Marco.
"I'm going to the castle now. So I leave Bella for you to take care of, as long as I'm not around" Marco continued.
"Good!" Back answers from Seba, Fint and Fent sounded in unison.
"I'll go first!" marco said as he hugged Bella tightly.
"Be careful! And hurry back!" Bella.
"I love you so much!" said Marco.
"Love you too, babe!" Bella.
Marco then walks out of the house, followed by Beta, Gamma and Delta.
Marco did not change completely, and chose to hold his human form in part, in order to carry their clothes in his hands.
Although Marco's changes are not perfect, Marco's powers do not seem to diminish at all, until Beta, Gamma and Delta are far behind him.
But Marco did not reduce his speed to wait for them, and kept flying as usual.
Marco had just slowed his flight while waiting for the other three shapeshifters, when Marco had seen the shore where he first met the Sums.
"We stopped by the Sums' house, and got dressed there!" marco said, then returned to lead until they arrived at the family home Sums.
After everything was dressed, on foot, they led to the main settlement.
"What are you thinking now?" ask Beta.
"none. I don't know what I need to think. All I know is, I just want to meet Mommy and Alpha as a replacement at once" Marco replied.
"So we go there without any plan?" ask Beta.
"I don't want to think of any more plans. All plan after plan, just make my brain become tired, and produce nothing...
This time, just be spontaneous. And trying to get us out of there alive" Marco replied.
Beta, Gamma and Delta, no longer say anything and just follow Marco's steps through the field.
After passing through all the wild grasses and barrier trees, they finally reached the highway, and further accelerated their pace towards Nancy's gem shop.
Upon arrival at Nancy's place, the woman hurriedly told Marco and the other three shapeshifters to go inside immediately.
"You should explain to me first, what your plan is...
I don't want you guys to make a mistake, because I promised your partner that I'd make sure you're safe" Nancy said.
"Sorry, Grandma! I don't have a plan. And please don't force me to make plans again...
I can't think of a plan that I don't know at all, what I'm really dealing with" Marco said earnestly.
"Surely, they and I could not have done anything stupid to put our lives at risk" Marco continued, trying to convince Nancy.
Nancy then only fell silent for a while, and seemed to lower her gaze.
"Wait here for a second!" nancy said and walked away.
Not long after, Nancy returned.
"We're leaving now!" take Nancy.
Marco, Beta, Gamma and Delta followed Nancy, and it was outside waiting for a luxurious vehicle.
"We're there in human form. It would be exhausting to walk" said Nancy, without Marco or others asking.
Using the vehicle, they were all transported to one part of the forest, which the vehicle could no longer pass.
"We'll start walking from here! Not too far in" said Nancy, when everything was out of the car, and left behind the driver who delivered them.
Nancy walked ahead with Marco.
Beta, Gamma and Delta, following them from behind, broke through the thick, almost pitch-black wilderness, as the large, shady trees, grew dense enough to cover the view into space.
Even so, the thickets at the bottom of the forest can still grow fresh and tall, even covering up almost to the stomach of Marco.
For Nancy who is much smaller than Marco, it is clearly very difficult to break through the bushes, so Marco must help him to keep walking through it.
"Did Grandma always come here on foot?" ask Marco.
"Of course not. But, if we turn into shapeshifters, I'm afraid that you and them will be caught" Nancy replied.
When Marco saw the trees in the forest, Marco remembered the dream he had every night in his sleep.
"Grandmas! I feel like I've seen this place in my dreams." Marco said.
Nancy stopped her steps, then looked at Marco fixedly.
Marco was puzzled by Nancy's behavior, and apparently so were Beta, Gamma and Delta, but no one spoke, and just waited for Nancy there.
