SHAPESHIFTERS
The Part 81
Early in the morning, the sun had not even peeked out from behind the hills in the eastern horizon, but inside Marco's house, everyone was busy with their own activities.
Today Marco and Bella, along with the other three shapeshifters, had to get ready to travel at a distance of approximately two hundred miles.
After eating a sandwich, accompanied by coffee without sugar, the five of them rushed into Bella's car.
Marco actually did not think that it reached that far, considering that the journey by air only takes one to two hours.
Inevitably, they had to leave since the sun was just beginning to rise, if they wanted to spend more time there.
Both Bella, as well as Beta, Gamma and Delta, seemed to be evaporating occasionally, as Marco began to drive his vehicle through the streets.
Marco, who made the most of Bella's car's top acceleration, drove through the streets at six to seventy miles per hour.
Although sometimes he had to reduce his speed, even to the point of having to stop, because the three shapeshifters who sat in the back seat, experienced motion sickness.
At one of the refueling sites, it became a resting place for them, for the third time, when Beta, Gamma and Delta had to use the toilet, to reduce dizziness and nausea.
"They can't stand a car ride like this at all" said Bella.
Marco could only stare from a distance, the three shapeshifters running to the public restroom at the place, while refueling Bella's car.
"Just mummy.." said Marco.
"What about you? Are you feeling all right?" marco asked, hugging Bella.
"Yes. I'm fine." replied Bella.
"If you feel uncomfortable, tell me immediately" said Marco and kissed Bella's head.
"Yes." answered Bella.
"Is it far away?" bella continued, after being silent for a while.
"No. It might be about half to an hour's drive away" Marco replied.
"Didn't you need anything? I plan on not stopping after this. Even though they're gonna puke until they faint" Marco continued.
Bella laughed a little.
"Darling, don't do it! I can't bear to see them." said Bella.
"I was just kidding... But still. When will it arrive if you just stop busy? You also must be bored if you travel too long," said Marco.
Beta, Gamma and Delta, were seen walking closer to Marco and Bella who were standing near the car.
All three with reddish eyes, deathly pale face, and looked wet like they had just washed their faces.
"Have you felt better?" ask Marco.
Without making a sound, the three of them were seen nodding slowly at the same time.
"In that case, we continue on our journey!" marco said, then opened the door for Bella, before she got into the driver's section.
Marco occasionally sees Beta, Gamma and Delta from the rearview mirror.
All three were seen massaging their foreheads, though none of them complained to Marco.
"Prophey! We'll be here soon!" said Marco, and increasingly accelerate the pace of his vehicle.
Nearly an hour's drive away, they have now entered the main residential highway of the shapeshifter.
Not much different from Marco when he first came to the place, Bella also seemed to be amazed to see the main settlement of the shapeshifter.
"This-this fancy?" bella asked, looking out the window.
"Blessing?" ask Marco.
"Yes" replied Bella.
"I did not expect, if the place that should be a place to hide as you say, it is more luxurious than ordinary human settlements in general," continued Bella.
"I also thought so, when I came here with the Sums family," Marco said.
Beta, Gamma and Delta seem to be so busy with their travel hangovers that they simply fall silent, not responding to Marco and Bella's talk, nor taking into account anything outside the car at the moment.
"We'll be there!" marco said pointing not far ahead, where there were many vehicles, and more tightly lined buildings.
Not long after Marco was looking for a place to park his vehicle, they all rushed out of the car.
For some time, Beta, Gamma and Delta, still followed where Marco and Bella walked down the store.
"You're just gonna follow us? Is there something you want to buy?" ask Marco flat.
"I'm sorry... But, can you wait a minute?" ask Beta slowly.
"My head is still dizzy." continued Beta.
The situation of the three shapeshifters was still looking bad, Marco finally could not force Beta, Gamma and Delta to immediately inspect the castle area.
"We'll just stop there first!" bring Marco.
A place that looked like a coffee-shop, became a place for them to sit quietly, and Marco hoped the three shapeshifters, could soon feel better.
Five cups of tea and a few pancakes came to their order, while waiting for Beta, Gamma and Delta, ready to do their job according to plan.
Beta still asked for a glass of empty water, to be an addition to his order, and spent it in one drink.
Apparently, by drinking such plain water, Beta more quickly look quite fresh, so Gamma and Delta also ask for water, for each of them.
After a while they were there, Beta seemed to be getting ready to leave, as well as Gamma and Delta.
"You guys go now?" ask Marco.
"Yes. We will try to infiltrate around the castle now" Beta replied in a whisper, looking around.
"Be careful! Don't cause conflict!" said Marco who also spoke slowly.
Visitors to the place are not too crowded, but it will be dangerous if anyone suspects, especially if someone knows that they are planning something, by going to the forbidden castle area.
"We'll be waiting for you around here. But, just in case you guys come back and then you don't find us, just follow us to the car!" continued Marco.
Beta, Gamma and Delta nodded their heads together, then walked out of the place.
Marco then paid for their food and drink, before he was finally with Bella, coming out of the place and taking a walk in other shopping areas, while looking at the goods traded there.
Marco's estimate, today the area seems much more crowded, compared to the time he was there with the Sums family.
Among the crowd passing by, Marco had felt something strange when he and Bella, passing by several people.
And Marco guessed that it was not an ordinary man, but a fellow shapeshifter, but they were shapeshifters who did not support him.
Marco tries hard to control his mind, so that he remains calm and unaffected by the shapeshifter of the Alpha surrogate.
When Bella was looking through the jewels in one of the stores, either because she was too vigilant or what, obviously, Marco felt that someone was staring at them both, although it did not feel as if the gaze was intentional or prejudiced.
Marco pretended to look at the jewel in another display, so that he could look around the shop.
Until Marco's sight finally collided with a pair of eyes.
