The Part 84

Marco felt that his head would erupt right then and there, too confused to think about all those things.

In a hurry Marco lifted his cup of tea, and drank it dry unceremoniously.

"What about Delta? Is he also unable to tell the difference, what kind of creature is Mommy?" ask Marco.

"Hmmm... I don't know. But I don't think Delta can recognize what that woman is either" Nancy replied.

Nancy looked at Marco's cup.

"Do you want some extra tea?" ask Nancy.

"No, thanks! Later!" replied Marco.

"Did Mommy ever talk to you?" ask Marco.

"Hmmm... Ja. The last time I saw him, he was still crying a lot. And she said she missed her son" replied Nancy.

"Did you miss him too?" ask Nancy.

"It's not. I just want to know what my Mommy looks like and is doing. That's it," replied Marco.

"I could have expected it" said Nancy.

"What do you mean?" ask Marco.

"Shapeshifter will be very attached to his parents, even though they are left apart, they will always miss his parents" replied Nancy.

"I think your Mommy is not one of the people that have ever been found on this earth. That's why, because of your Mommy's mixed blood, you don't feel homesickness toward your parents" Nancy continued.

Hearing Nancy's words, Marco recalled the behavior of Gamma, Beta, and Delta yesterday, who waited even told Marco to cry in order to feel relieved.

As it turns out, shapeshifter usually misses his parents, it's fitting that the three of them act strangely, when Gamma discusses Marco's past.

Marco who does not know anything, even think that they just intend to mocked him.

Marco, who had never before thought about how likely it was that his original Daddy could be with his Mommy, now thinks twice before assuming that his Daddy is a sneaky person.

"Is there not the slightest thought about what my Mommy is? You said, he is not a people on this earth. So, what do you mean he's from another planet?" ask Marco.

Nancy seemed to shake her head.

"It's not...

I never said that. What I said earlier, he's unlike any people I've ever met before. That doesn't mean he has to be from another planet...

It could have been one of the creatures on this earth, but our people do not know him" replied Nancy.

"But no one knows for sure, right? So it's up to you, if you can just guess that he's not an earth creature...

As for all about the shapeshifters alone, it is not normal, when compared to ordinary humans," continued Nancy.

Nancy is seen taking a plate filled with biscuits, and thrusting it to Bella.

"Given, sweetheart...! Don't be shy...! We're still family" Nancy said.

"Hmmm... Because, we already know that if we are still in a family relationship, we can talk normally. There's no need to be so formal anymore" Nancy continued.

Bella then took a piece of biscuit from inside the dish.

"Thank you!" said Bella.

"You've been in pairs for a long time?" ask Nancy.

"Eh! I mean, is it possible that you guys got married? Using the traditional way of ordinary people?" nancy hurriedly answered her question.

"Yes. We got married in church, about two months ago" Bella replied.

Nancy then seemed to be frowning, as if something she was thinking.

"Then, who was with you at the time?" ask Nancy while looking at Marco.

"Name Adaline. He was just my acquaintance" replied Marco.

"Oh, so!" chirps Nancy.

"Even though I'm not a shapeshifter, it's like I'll never wish for Bella's love" Marco said flatly.

"It's good that it's true!" hatch Nancy.

"Don't you ruin your inheritance's blood by pairing here and there!" nancy looked insistent.

"of course. And it's not for the sake of Alpha's legacy, but because I love Bella, I don't want to lose" Marco said.

Nancy nodded her head.

"I'm just giving you a little advice. Considering that you are my granddaughter," Nancy said.

"Yes, I know!" marco answered flat.

"Hmmm... Did you come here, just the two of you?" ask Nancy.

"We are with three more people" replied Bella.

Marco just woke up.

It's possible, Beta, Gamma and Delta, have returned and are looking for Marco and Bella.

If they were inside like now, then the three shapeshifters would be confused to find them both.

"We need to get out now! Our friends, may be confused looking for us" Marco chirped.

"Why are you in such a hurry? I still want to talk to my granddaughter" said Nancy, holding Marco and Bella.

"Can't it be, if you're the one who's meeting your friends? Just get them in here. Let me spend a little more time with Bella" Nancy continued.

Marco then looks at Bella.

Bella seemed unwilling to let Nancy down, until she just nodded her head, as if agreeing with Nancy's request.

"If I meet them, I'll be right back here" Marco said, looking at Bella.

"Please, take care of my partner!" marco continued while looking at Nancy fixedly.

"Of course!" answer Nancy.

Marco then stood up from his seat, and walked out from there.

In front of the store, Marco was busy looking around, just in case the three shapeshifters had indeed returned and were looking for them.

But, for a while, Marco did not see any of them, until Marco finally walked towards his parked car.

Similarly, there was no sign that Beta, Gamma and Delta had returned.

They've been gone long enough.

There was a little worry in Marco's heart.

Could something happen?

But, Marco also could not leave Bella for long, and inevitably he had to return to Nancy's shop earlier.

In a hurry, Marco walked back to the jewel shop.

Before Marco arrived at Nancy's shop, from a distance, Marco could see Beta, who looked like a confused person, circling around the place looking around.

As Marco drew nearer to Beta, and Beta saw Marco's arrival, Beta's countenance changed.

"Where's Bella? Why are you alone?" ask Beta before Marco can say anything.

"He's at the jewel shop. I was checking in case you guys got back in the car" Marco replied, walking straight to where Bella was waiting.

Beta also seemed to follow Marco's footsteps.

"Where are Gamma and Delta?" ask Marco.

"Don't know!" answer Beta.

"Why do you dare leave Bella alone?" ask Beta in a hurry.

"He's not alone. But I have to get back there" replied Marco.

"Is Bella with anyone you know?" ask Beta.

Marco did not answer, and only sped up his pace, hoping that he would not make the wrong decision, while leaving Bella with only Nancy.
