The Part 33
Bella's family belongs to the group of people who are in the city.
Ben Graham, Daddy Bella, was once the deputy leader of the city, was a respected man, and quite respected by the residents of the city, because of his humble nature, and far from being arrogant.
Ever since Marco was little, Ben, who had often been his Daddy friend, went hunting wild ducks, and Marco went with his Daddy to visit the Graham family home several times, and the situation is still the same as it is today, when Marco received his home.
When Marco, Daddy, and his Mommy come along, the Graham family is always kind and friendly.
There are no signs of rejection, just because Marco and his family are mediocre people, and with Marco's simple family lifestyle.
To Marco's knowledge, Bella is the only child of the Graham family.
"I'm really curious... Meaning, you all this time, survived alone in your old house? At a very young age" asked Ben, with furrowed eyebrows.
"Yes. I understand a little how to manage a garden, and a farm. So, it's not too difficult when you have to do it alone," Marco said.
"Great! You are indeed a wonderful Belmont child, and should be proud!" ben said, shaking his head, and smiling widely.
"I'm glad you'll be part of our family!" continued Ben.
"Thank you for the compliment... But, I still need to learn a lot." said Marco humbled.
"When Bella told me about Marco, I was going to go visit Marco's house. But, Bella forbade me, if I visit suddenly, and maybe it will only bother Marco" Ben said.
"Daddy...! Don't make Marco feel awkward!" chirps Bella, with a high voice, who was suddenly standing near Ben and Marco were sitting.
"Daddy doesn't bother Marco...!" ben said slowly.
"Certainly right?" continued Ben, looking at Marco, as if to get a defense.
Marco smiled, then looked at Bella, who was now looking at Marco with her enlarged eyes.
"Your Daddy and I were just talking about the farm" Marco said.
"Hmmm... Okay!" Bella.
"We go to the dining room, now...! Mommy's waiting there!" take Bella with you, extending her hand to Marco.
Marco took Bella's hand, and stood up from his seat.
So also with Ben who has stood up, then walked first, in front of Marco and Bella who followed him.
"Your Daddy is still as he used to be." whispered Marco.
"Hmmm... Did ya? Isn't he much older now?" bella said, then laughed, it was clear that, Bella was pretending not to understand what Marco said.
At once, Marco kissed Bella's head, before entering the dining room, where Mommy and Daddy Bella were waiting.
"Hello, Marco! It's good to see you again!" said Mommy Bella, then hugged Marco.
"Hello, Mistress Graham! I am also very happy to meet you!" said Marco.
"Hmmm... If you don't mind, I'd rather, if you call me Mom.." said Mommy Bella, staring fixedly at Marco, as she let go of Marco's embrace.
"Eh! Okay, Mom!" marco said, then smiled widely.
Bella is seen shaking her head, while pulling Marco's hand to sit on the chair next to her.
Mommy Bella, and Ben, are seen sitting in their seats.
"How's Marco doing? Healthy?" ask Mommy Bella.
"I'm fine, Mom!" replied Marco.
"Please enjoy the food! Before all the food gets cold... We can have a conversation here" Ben said.
"Good meal!" marco, Bella and her parents together.
"What's the plan for you two? Don't you want to throw a party?" ask Ben.
"No need, Dad! I'd rather just be with my family and celebrate" Bella said.
"Hmmm... Okay fine! But what about Marco? Maybe he wants something different from you" Ben said.
"I'm just going with Bella's wishes... Whichever one, the choice, I follow." said Marco.
"Hmmm... If according to Mommy, at least, we invite the closest people... How's it?" ask Mommy Bella.
Both Bella and Marco were silent, chewing their food.
"Want to?" ask Bella, looking at Marco.
"As far as you are... No problem." replied Marco quietly.
"If not too many guests! I've seen some of my married friends, with many invited guests, and it seems very tiring, when it comes to welcoming everyone present, one by one." Bella said.
"Good! Then, Mommy will prepare a small party for you later," said Mommy Bella excited.
"Have you set the date?" ask Ben.
"Not yet." answered Marco.
"Hmmm... If you can, before my cake shop opens," said Bella.
"That's just a few days away!" said Mommy Bella, who looked anxious.
"Yes," said Bella flatly.
"Hmmm... One more! Where do you want to call it? At Marco's house or here?" ask Ben.
"When it's done here, is it okay?" ask Bella, looking at Marco.
"No problem...!" replied Marco.
"I'm sorry! It might be troublesome... But, my house is still not finished renovated," continued Marco.
"It's okay... We don't feel bothered. Marco doesn't have to be shy" Ben said.
"Can you meet the pastor tomorrow?" ask Ben.
"Can!" marco and Bella answered almost simultaneously.
"Then, Mommy will prepare for the show here. The day after tomorrow, you should get married" said Mommy Bella.
"Good, Mom!" said Marco, and Bella who again almost simultaneously.
"Thank you very much for your help" Marco continued.
"Everything... No problem for us. Especially me. I was happy, because we were allowed to be involved in the marriage of the two of you" said Mommy Bella.
"Yes, that's right Mommy Bella said. We just hope, in case we can still help you, so that we still feel useful, at our age that is no longer young," said Ben.
"I'm proud of both of you, who are committed, and not just like most young people. And I think both Marco's parents must be proud of the decision you made" Ben said.
Marco, Bella, and Bella's parents continue to eat their dinner, talking occasionally, with a light discussion.
"I didn't expect at all... My joke to Greg, to match Marco to Bella, turned out to be a reality. Pity Greg and his wife, who didn't get to see your marriage" Ben said.
"That's enough... You're just going to ruin our kids' happiness" said Mommy Bella.
"It's okay... I was happy because I was welcome to the Graham family and allowed to marry Bella" Marco said.
"I really love him." continued Marco, glancing at Bella beside him, who was now blushing, complete with her face red.
