The Part 68
Apparently, Marco's guess that there was something between Beta and Adaline, proved to be.
When they all left the river, until they had arrived at Marco's house, the two shapeshifters could barely get away from each other.
It's good, but there's also the worst part.
Because Beta was busy with Adaline, Delta became like a chick who did not want to stay away from Marco.
In order to avoid Delta, Marco went to and fro to follow Bella, wherever and whatever she was doing.
Over time, Bella seems to start feeling uncomfortable with Marco's movements that are always attached to her.
"What's wrong?" ask Bella flat.
"There's nothing. I just didn't want Delta to come near me" replied Marco.
Bella seemed to raise her gaze, as if she was looking at something on the back of Marco.
"Can't you just ignore it?" ask Bella.
"That means, she's still behind me?" Marco asked back.
"Yes" replied Bella.
"Is there anything you want to do?" ask Marco.
"Hmmm... Why why?" ask Bella.
"I want to take you to the room" Marco replied, raising his eyebrows, and smiling mischievously.
Bella chuckled, covering her mouth with her hands.
"What does it have to be like, just to avoid Delta?" ask Bella.
"No. I want you to continue your mischievous behavior in the river, so I can punish you" Marco replied.
Without waiting for Bella's answer, Marco held Bella's shoulder, and half-pushed her, to walk towards the room, while Marco followed her by walking right behind Bella.

If Marco is done making Bella smile like that when she comes out of the room, Marco does not care anymore even though Delta follows him wherever he goes.
Marco chose to sit on the front porch of his house, and as Marco had expected, it did not take long, just a fraction of a second, Delta was seen to follow, and then sat there, even though he was just sitting on the floor, while leaning against the fence.
"Is there anything you're talking to me about?" ask Marco.
"none. I just don't have any friends, and I don't know what to do to keep me busy" Delta replied.
"Hmmm..." Marco muttering.
How could anyone be friends with Delta, if the character feels bad, and only makes people feel upset when he's around.
"How old are you?" ask Marco for a little chat.
"Thirty-one, this year," replied Delta.
"What have you been doing all this time?" ask Marco.
"Like Gamma and Beta, wandering, wandering from one place to another" Delta replied.
"That means you meet people often. Have you found a partner among them?" marco asked, with Delta's intentions.
"Yet. I haven't found one that caught my eye" Delta replied.
"Hmmm... Is it because your taste is too high?" marco asked with a smile.
"That's possible. Because I don't want to make a mistake, just because I rush to get a partner...
Especially if she's just a human being" Delta replied.
Delta's words sounded as if he was humbling Marco and Bella, and were enough to upset Marco.
"What do you mean?" marco asked, holding back his frustration.
"Ordinary humans can easily change their minds and become bored with their partners" Delta replied.
"Hmmm... That so?!" said Marco.

Marco felt that the discussion would only make him feel increasingly dislike of Delta, even though Marco knew that it was ordinary human nature in general.

So many like to change colleagues in bed, without thinking about how the effect will be for them in the future.
Ordinary humans can be unfaithful creatures such as animals * certain, and shapeshifter that can turn into animals, can actually be loyal to one partner only, like a respectable human.
(*there are animals that are loyal to one partner until they die, such as geese)
But, it again makes marco think of Bella, before the woman is with Marco now.

The bench on the porch that became Marco's seat, now as if there were thorns there, which makes Marco feel if his seat becomes uncomfortable.
Ah, never mind...

Seba was then seen sitting on the porch, and it was as if he was going to sit on the floor, and Marco held him back.
"Just sit up here! It's okay" Marco said.
"No need... I'd rather sit on the floor, so I can feel more relaxed" said Seba, and still seem insistent, until he finally sat on the floor like a Delta.
"Delta! How's Flints doing?" ask Seba.
"I think he's soon back with Gamma. Because the Gamma roaming location is not too broad," Delta replied.
"Other than that Flints is looking for Beta, he's the hardest one to find" Delta said.
Seba looked a little laugh.
"Indeed right. Me and Flints were really overwhelmed looking for Beta back then" Seba said.
"Until I was so tired of searching, I stopped by the former Beta residence, and let the wandering Flints look for him," continued Seba.
"Why could that be?" ask Marco.
"Beta was in charge of mapping the location of the shapeshifters' deployment, so he never settled in one place for more than a day...
Gamma examines an elderly shapeshifter member, if anyone is injured, or needs help...
While me... My duty is of little importance, if in times of peace and no war" replied Delta.
"What is your job?" ask Marco.
"Just assess and mark the members of the race which is useful for the continuity of shapeshifter or not. Or rather, my job is to assess whether or not that member can be engaged in warfare" Delta replied.
"But, helping Alpha, is our main task" Delta continued.
"War you say? Fight against what?" ask Marco.
"Hmmm... In this world there are not only ordinary humans and shapeshifters. There are even other people who, when you look at it, look like ordinary people...
If there is a misunderstanding about the location of residence, or territory, there will be a war between the people with each other" replied Delta.
"Warfare within the race can also occur. For example now, there will be a power struggle, then there will definitely be a civil war" Delta continued.
