Soul Pain

Soul Pain
Chapter 140

The operation is being carried out. Abi waited with a feeling of anxious expectation on the front door of the operating room. His wife had a severe stab wound. Some internal organs also suffered serious injuries until the Doctor decided to take immediate action so that Larisa's life could be saved.

Before long, his parents and the princess arrived there. Abi immediately hugged Ningsih, shedding tears that had been trying to keep her up.

“I'm afraid of losing Larisa, Ma,” Abi said.

Ningsih gently stroked the son's back and took him sitting in the waiting chair. “We pray together that Larisa is given the strength to survive and she can regroup with us.”

Abi nods after it is hugged tightly to his Kyra, her son who seems confused by the situation. “Prayer in Mama so Mama can fight.”

“What's the Mama, Pa?” ask Kyra who still can't read the situation.

“Mama again treated Doctor, because Mama was injured.” Abi explained calmly so that the princess did not follow him feeling scared or worried.

Davira and Endra were waiting there with hearts pounding. Time continued to roll, but the Doctor and the other medical team did not leave the room they had been looking at since. After about five hours, the red light in the room went out. Indicates that the operation is completed.

Abi and the whole family stood up, waiting for the doctor to come out of there and gave an explanation related to Larisa's condition.

“Alhamdulillah operation successfully performed,” Doctor revealed.

Make Abi and the parents breathe a long breath.

“After this the patient will be moved to intensive care to monitor his progress for the next 24 hours. If the condition stabilizes and improves, then we will move it to a regular hospital room,” added Doctor.

Abi wiped his wet cheek, nodded and shook the hand of the Doctor who had saved his wife. “Thank you very much, Doc.”

“I only run errands. Pray for the recovery of your wife,” reply Doctor.

“Pasti.”

...🐹🐹🐹🐹...

“Mama go home first, want to take a change of clothes for you,” said Ningsih.

Abi did not care about his bloodied appearance for lifting Larisa from the car to the ER.

“Finely, Mama also went home and brought Kyra,” Endra added to his wife.

“Iya, Mother. Kasian Kyra if you have to wait here,” added Abi.

Davira agreed. “Later the night Mama and Kyra came back here.”

“Do not besan, let me accompany Abi to take care of Larisa. Later after I arrived here, Mr. Endra can go home,” between Ningsih.

“But-”

“Gak papa's. Tomorrow you take care of Larisa, let me take Kyra stay at home.”

“Alright then. Thank you very much.”

“Larisa is also my daughter so, no need to feel shy and say thanks like this. We are family, not anyone else.”

Davira and Ningsih embrace each other. Abi carried the sleeping princess in the waiting seat to the car in the parking lot.

...🐸🐸🐸🐸...

Ningsih and Abi alternately accompanied Larisa in the Intensive room. Until the morning arrived, Larisa's condition remained stable so the doctor decided to move the patient to a regular hospital room. Makes Abi can again breathe a long breath to stretch his chest.

“When is my wife aware, Doc?” ask Abi.

“We wait a few more hours,” replied the Doctor.

At ten in the morning Davira and Endra arrived there. They also gave thanks because the princess had been transferred to an ordinary nursing room. Kyra, who missed her last night, immediately approached the bed.

“Sabar, yes, soon Mama will wake up.” Abi said while lifting up his son's body.

“Mama is fine, isn't she, Pa? Mama won't be like Moci right?”

The question made Abi feel her throat choked. What he feared also became a fear for the princess.

“We just pray that Mama will quickly wake up and be able to recover and gather with us.”

Kyra nodded then wrapped her small arms around Papa's neck. “I want Mama quickly wake up.”

“Definitely, darling. In a moment, be patient, yes.” While stroking his daughter Abi's back also tried to convince her heart to stay strong and firm.

“Besan please go home and rest, it is our turn to take care of Larisa,” Davira said.

“Iya, I do need sleep because last night can not sleep well,” replied Ningsih. “Kyra what?”

“Let Kyra be here first, Ma. He wants to see Larisa wake up, later let me drive her home,” Abi replied.

“Good then. Mama came home, yes, you have to be stoic, pray a lot and be strong for Kyra.” Ningsih said as she hugged Abi.

Just a nod and a knotty smile that her son gave her.

“Pak, Buk, I say goodbye, yes. Later if Larisa has realized do not forget to call.”

“Iya, be careful on the road,” reply Endra.

Ningsih's departure they were all still waiting for when Larisa's time to open her eyes. Seconds passed into minutes and minutes changed into hours but there was no sign of the lying woman opening her eyes immediately.

The doctor arrived shortly. “What patients are already aware of?”

“Not yet, Doc,” replied Abi.

“Supposed he was conscious. Have you tried talking to him?”

“Already.”

“Then try calling back, is there any response.”

Abi lowered his head whispering in his wife's ear. “Honey, let's get up. Brother and Kyra are here very scared if you go.”

The princess was also asked to call her mother. “Mama, this is Kyra. Let's get up, Ma, said we want to go back to Bali.”

The anticipated response was finally given by Larisa. His fingers began to appear to move and the Doctor immediately examined him. The flashlight beam from the Doctor in the eye made Larisa fully aware, she opened her eyes and looked around.

“Silver, Kyra,” call it weak.

Abi clasped his wife's fingers and then taped to the cheek that had been filled with tears. “Yes, baby, this is Kyra's sister. We are waiting for you here.”

Davira and Endra who had been waiting for them also finally shed tears of gratitude.

“How is my daughter doing, Doc?” ask Endra.

“Condition is stable, Sir. Later we will re-examine the wound after surgery if there are no complications that mean your daughter can recover in the near future,” explained Doctor.

“Alhamdulillah,” exclaim Endra and Davira.

“Good, then we stay first. One more hour nurse will come to pick up patient.”

Endra nodded and escorted the doctor away.
