Soul Pain

Soul Pain
Chapter 5

Abi breathed a rough breath. “That's how people in this country, if anyone has a mental disorder they immediately consider it a disgrace that is very embarrassing. Though actually mental disorders that does not mean they are crazy. His soul is shaken and they need our support, not alienate it.” Abi's words on the right target. Endra felt slapped because he was the one who most opposed the wife's desire to bring their daughter to see a psychiatrist.

Ningsih also looked at her son so as not to continue the words. It's not nice if Abi keeps cornering Larisa's parents.

“Sunday ahead, Larisa will stay here,” said Ningsih switched the conversation.

“How long ago, Doc?” ask Davira.

“We will do a series of checks to determine how severe the problem is in Larisa.”

“If I may know what the inspection is, doc?”

“The examination includes an interview, a physical examination, a written test and all of it is done in stages, depending on his mood, Larisa.” Abi's turn explained.

Davira and Endra nodded in understanding.

“If you want to see Larisa later, please come here. This house is open,” added Ningsih.

“OK, then can tell me about Larisa?” Abi doesn't want to waste time.

Davira tells the story of Larisa from the beginning she knew Bayu until her dream marriage just crumbled. As requested by Abi, no one covered it. Davira also broke his heart when the noble princess hysterically destroyed everything in the house. Suddenly angry and sad at the same time. Sometimes he just sits quietly with empty eyes. Sometimes he laughs too. Confused by Larisa's change in attitude.

At the beginning they just thought maybe Larisa needed time to be able to accept the reality. However, as time went on Larisa began to take actions that put her life at risk. Jumping from the window of a room that was on the third floor but profit was immediately held back by their household assistant. Slicing his wrist with a kitchen knife or broken glass. And the last Larisa jumped into the pool, whereas previously she did not dare to enter the pool despite being accompanied by the Papa.

The 49-year-old woman told a story in stammer because she could not weep. Grievous, however, he tried his hardest to tell the story of Larisa, to the man who gave her new hope for the recovery of the princess only wayang. Endra also gently rubbed the wife's back to stay calm and not carried away by emotions. He also shed tears but soon covered it with his thumb.

Done Davira told me Ningsih turned to sit next to her. He hugged the woman who was still as hot as it was, providing support and strength and vigor, if they could definitely get through this ordeal. “As much as possible we will help Larisa to heal,” he said.

“Thank you very much, Buk,” said Davira.

“Yes already, Father and Mother can go home. Tomorrow we will tell you how the results of the examination.”

Davira and Endra went home. They said that later the driver will deliver a change of clothes for Larisa. Abi Ningsih also escorted the departure of their guests to the front of the house.

...🐱🐱🐱🐱...

After waking up, Larisa looks like a normal person. He immediately got up from the bed, to meet the man whose name was not known at all. When he opened the door of the room, he wanted to get out, he passed Abi who came to deliver his suitcase.

“Available?” ask Abi gently.

Larisa only nodded her head but her countenance looked confused.

“What's up?” ask Abi again

“Sorry before I've been a hassle. Name, Whose brother?”

Abi smiled sweetly. “It's afternoon, you take a shower first and change clothes. This is your outfit.” Abi handed the pink suitcase to Larisa. “Then it follows me to the dining table, I will explain later there.”

The girl agreed.

“Sit, baby,” said Ningsih when Larisa got to the dinner table.

“Eat first, yes. Later Aunt will explain why you can be here.”

They enjoyed the meal in silence. Sometimes Abi also Ningsih glanced at Larisa who looked just stirring her food. Only a few are bribed.

“Larisa, meet the name of Aunt Ningsih and it's Aunt's son's name is Abista. Usually Auntie calls him Abi.” Now the three of them were sitting in the middle room.

“You remind me why you got here?”

“Remember, Aunt. I don't want to come with Mama home for fear of being locked up in a room.”

Ningsih smiled widely it turned out that this girl had not forgotten the events she had gone through. Sometimes there are also some depressed people who find it difficult to focus, causing it to be difficult to remember.

“For the next week you will stay here with Aunt and Abi. You want to, right? Later we will do a little evaluation to know your thoughts, feelings, and behavior patterns,” explained Ningsih

“For what, Auntie? I'm not crazy.”

“Risa,” call Abi.

The girl looked at him sharply. “Never call me by that name!”

Abi caught something. The emotions of this girl sitting in front of him instantly changed instantly. “OK, how about I call La only?”

He nodded in agreement.

“You are not crazy, but you are experiencing depression. A mental illness. You realize that?” ask Abi gently

“I do like to be sad, angry, sometimes I can not control my own feelings. What does depression mean?”

“Good if you are aware of that. Brother will help you to feel better, as long as you want to listen and obey what Brother says.”

“But I won't be locked up kayaking at home right?”

“Cock! You take it easy, tomorrow we will only ask questions about complaints and symptoms that you feel,” explained Ningsih.

“OK, I want.”

Ningsih and Abi smiled in satisfaction. Without coercion they managed to persuade the girl to conduct the evaluation of the first session.

...🐰🐰🐰🐰...

The next morning before conducting an interview at the RSJ owned by the mother, Abi told Larisa's parents that today the first schedule of their daughter's treatment process will be carried out. If they want to see then they will meet in the hospital alone without the girl's knowledge.

“Aready? Departing now?” Abi asked the girl who was sitting pensively in the room.

“Where are we going, Brother?”

“Ke Hospital where we met,” Abi replied as they walked out of the house.

“Ngapain to it?” Larisa's getting anxious.

“And we want an interview about your condition. We go home again.”

“Why not at home?”

“There is Aunt Ningsih too,” replied Abi opened the car door.

“But the truth, yes, sister, I'm not in a stay kept locked up there.” Larisa's face looked clear.

Abi, who had been sitting on the steering wheel, put the seatbelt on the girl and scrambled Larisa's black hair. “Gak will. Trust the same Brother.”
