Soul Pain

Soul Pain
Chapter 6

Arriving at the hospital they immediately enter the room that is usually used to conduct patient interviews. The room looks comfortable like a living room in your own home. There was a large sofa located in the middle then some greenery in the corner of the room. There is also a water dispenser and a mini fridge in the other corner, Larisa who feels thirsty immediately runs to open the refrigerator.

“I can take one?”

“Please,” replied Ningsih who was already waiting there.

Then Abi brought the girl who had the height of only the shoulder to sit on the sofa.

“La, now you can tell calmly and casually about your feelings,” Abi said starting the interview session.

The girl tilted her head as if she was thinking. “I'm also easily sad and irritable. If you are sad again want to cry, but if you are angry again I want to be angry.”

“Can you tell me what the cause is?” ask Ningsih

“Hhmm because Bayu. I hate him.”

“Why?” abi's turn to ask.

“She left me fitting wedding we want in the title. He said he had to take responsibility for his pregnant girlfriend, he also said he never loved me, he .. he just used me because he had a lot of money. She ... she ..” Larisa started shedding tears.

Ningsih hurried to sit next to the girl to calm her down. “Pull a deep breath and then exhale. Remember you the story should be calm and relaxed do not let emotions rule you.”

While crying the girl inhaled a deep breath and then threw it away. Several times he regained control of himself.

“You drink?” asked Abi to offer a cold drink that was taken by Larisa.

The girl gulped it down to half a bottle and then she wiped her mouth wet like a child. Abi was worried about Larisa's behavior.

“Kok, Sister laughing?”

“You are funny,” replied Abi smiling. “Now story, what else do you feel towards Bayu.”

“I'm just upset that I can't see him.”

“What do I meet with him?”

“I want to hit, want to punch and kick him because it has made my family embarrassed.”

“So you want to vent emotions?”

Larisa nodded her head

“Why don't you take it sincerely and then move on?”

“Strouble, Brother, every time I try to forget him, I can't be sad plus angry with myself. Why always remember her, especially Mama and Papa sometimes also like to make me remember our memories.”

“Example?”

“Hhhmm .. like order food in restaurant yesterday. I don't want to eat that anymore because Bayu used to love me that food.”

“It's not your favorite food?” ask Ningsih

“Yes, Aunt, but I remember her.”

“Ke what else?” ask Abi

“Kakak, yesterday call me the same as Kayak Bayu call me.” His face immediately turned irritated

“Said Mama and Papa, you ever attempted suicide, huh?” ningsih asked back

Larisa nodded slowly and her face looked sad

“Why?”

“Because I feel guilty for making Mama and Papa ashamed. I also feel unable to be happy again if not the same Bayu.”

“Who said? You haven't moved on. It means he's not a good man to you. There must be good men out there who can make you happy,” Abi said

“Really?” He came back crying. Ningsih quickly hugged the girl.

“La, Auntie understands that you may feel disappointed by the reality that does not match your expectations. It's sad, but it doesn't drag on like this until you torture yourself. Kasian Mama with your Papa, they love you and they are sad to see your condition now.”

“I want to heal, Aunt, I want to lupain Bayu, I want to live happily with a man who can love me as I am, not because of the property that I belong to.” Larisa's crying broke

A pitying and pitying Abi immediately sat down beside the little girl. He hugged her tightly to provide comfort and calmness through a gentle swab from the top of the head to the back.

“La, you believe the same, Brother right?”

Abi felt the head of the girl nod in his chest.

“From now on you should be able to control your emotions. Don't let that anger and sadness overwhelm you to make you hysterical and raging.”

“For so long Mama and Papa never understood me, Brother. They can only lock me in my room when I'm angry, crying and raging. Though I just need to be heard.”

“Yes, I understand and understand your condition. From now on we undergo treatment, yes,” persuade Abi to cupper Larisa's face.

“Kakak, promise to be my friend? Brother, won't you treat me like Mama and Papa? Brother, will not bind me like other doctors?” That girl needs faith.

“As long as you recite and believe the same, Brother.”

“I will recede and believe the same, Kaka. Because, Brother who can make me comfortable.”

Abi wiped Larisa's cheeks wet with tears and tidied the child's hair attached to the forehead. “Now we do physical tests all blood tests?”

Larisa nodded her head quickly which meant she agreed.

...🐦🐦🐦🐦...

Tired of depleted emotions after crying, Larisa was resting in one of the nurseries. Now Abi and Ningsih are sitting opposite the two girls' parents in Ningsih's office.

“Physical tests and blood tests we do to find out if there is a possibility of other diseases suffered by Larissa at once to find out if he has a drug allergy,” explained Ningsih.

“Tomorrow we will start doing drug therapy such as Antidepressants. In the early weeks we often have to change the treatment, the goal is to determine the choice of drugs that are well tolerated by Larisa. Initially we give a low dose and then the dose will be increased gradually, until the increase begins to be seen unless there are significant side effects appear, then the treatment we will stop,” added Abi.

“That means Larisa will be taking medicines until she recovers, Doc?” ask Davira.

“No, Buk. Until his condition is much better. If, we don't think Larisa needs to take any more medicine, then we'll stop. Stay undergoing Psychotherapy.”

“Psychotherapy itself for what, yes, Doc?” It was Endra's turn to ask.

“Typically this therapy helps patients to think more clearly, positively, and can find ways to survive in a state of depression. Can also Larisa looking for support system,” explained Ningsih.
