Soul Pain

Soul Pain
Chapter 4

Abi has arrived at the parking lot where he and his mother made a pact. Getting out of the car he rushed into the restaurant and looked for the table that his mother occupied.

“Abi.” Ningsih waved her hand.

Abi is approaching. “Sorry I'm late. The road jammed earlier.”

“It's ok. Oh, yes, this is Fera,” said Ningsih.

The two of them smiled and shook hands.

“Have you ordered the menu?” ask Abi.

Fera shook his head. “We are waiting for you.”

Abi called the servants the three of them looked busy choosing the menu for lunch this time. “What do you order, Fer?” ask Ningsih.

“I let Abi aja who chose her menu,” her answer blushed in shame.

Ningsih spread a smile, then poked the son to order a menu for the beautiful woman beside him.

“Sorry, I don't know what you like,” Abi said.

“Then it is the same,” replied Fera.

After the order was recorded their waiter waited for a while and Fera took advantage of this to chat with Abi.

“Kata Aunty you live in an apartment, yes?”

Abi just nodded.

“When can I play there no?”

“If you want to play we can find the right place,” replied Abi.

“Means that Fera she wants to see your apartment loh, Bi,” interrupted by Mama.

“Make what?” Abi knitted his brows

“Who knows I'm interested and can stay near you,” replied Fera.

Abi's ears caught the faint sound of commotion from the direction of the restaurant's end table. Some of the guests looked in that direction.

“I don't like this food,” said the girl in a high tone.

“But this is your favorite food, baby. Mom accidentally messages you.”

“Now I don't like this food anymore!”

Prawn …

The sound of the broken plate the maker of Abi got up to approach.

“I don't like all these foods. Disgusting food get everything out of my sight.” The girl again shouted hysterically throwing the food on the table.

“Darling, you why? Mama please don't do this again,” the crying mother approached her son.

“Go! I hate it, Mama. Why, Mama reminds me of that bastard guy.” Larisa rages she flips the round table and throws the chair at the restaurant guest.

Yes, the girl was Larisa who was enjoying lunch with her mother, but somehow she returned hysterical.

“Hei,” call Abi. “Why you?” her tan gently held both of Larisa's wrists.

Initially Larisa looked at who the person who was holding her back was. But when he knew who it was, he immediately rushed into the chest of Abi field shed his tears that sounded so bitter.

“I hate that food. Why, Mama reminds me of the same man, even though I try to forget him.”

Abi asked the people to return to their respective tables with the movement of his hands, while one more hand gently rubbed Larisa's long black mane.

“Sstt. Now you calm down first and after that we can tell?”

Davira who was crying down is now being pacified by Ningsih who was following her son.

The girl nodded slowly. Abi holds Larisa's shoulder to unravel their embrace. “Now we go home, yes. After that you want my same story?”

“But I don't want to go home,” he replied wistfully.

“Why?” Abi wiped the tears that soaked the girl's cheeks.

“Mama same Bad Papa. They locked me in my room.”

Abi asked Mama through her raised chin, to allow Larisa to come home with them. Ningsih who had understood Abi immediately nodded her head.

“Home home I want?” ask Abi.

The girl nodded her head quickly.

“Tante can come with me? Call her husband. " Abi asked Davira and the woman agreed.

“Mah, Fera, sorry I can't come to lunch. Next time we make another appointment as an apology from me.”

“Gak pa-pa, Bi. Next time,” replied Fera with a fake smile.

“We met at home,” said Ningsih.

Abi nodded. "You guys, please, Mama's sorting this out with the restaurant."

Abi takes Larisa to her car, and Davira follows behind.

...🌿🌿🌿🌿...

“You rest first in this room. Don't you think I'm staying?”

“Where are you going?” ask Larisa pull Abi's shirt

“You talk to your parents up front. If you need anything call Bibik aja.”

Abi puts Larisa in the room that used to be occupied by her sister. Convinced that the girl will be safe here, she sets foot into the living room to meet Davira and Endra.

“Larisa safe no, Doctor?” ask Davira worriedly.

“Tante, take it easy, in this house Larisa must be safe really,” explained Abi sitting on the sofa opposite Davira and Endra.

Davira stroking chest.

“I want, Aunt and Om to tell you the thing that makes Larisa can arrive like that. But before you tell me something I want to remind you. First, you have to tell everything about Larisa nothing is covered or hidden. Second, your trust is both very much needed. Third, collaboration. We must work together for the recovery of your daughter.”

“What treatment will, Doctor do can be successful?” ask Endara. It is natural that he feels doubtful, because there have been many psychologists that they came to but instead gave up on handling the princess.

“The success or failure of treatment depends on your commitment, patience, and cooperation with a psychiatrist that is me. Generally the therapeutic effect obtained will be felt after some time undergoing treatment. So, we can see the development of Larisa in the next few months after undergoing therapy,” explained Abi.

Ningsih came over. It seemed like he had rushed home after finishing lunch with Fera. Davira and Endra stood up from their seats to welcome the arrival of the host.

"Mr and Ibuk just sit down" replied Ningsih.

"Thank you for helping solve the problem at the restaurant earlier," Endra said.

Ningsih smiled. "I'm glad I could help my family, Father."

"So, did you and Mom agree with my request?" Abi continued their discussion.

"Whatever it is while it's best for Laris we will agree" Endra replied steadily.

"Can I ask you before? Why are you taking Larisa to a psychologist instead of a psychiatrist?" sela Ningsih's.

Davira and Endra looked at each other.

"We think that with counseling and therapy with psychologists, Larisa is able to overcome her depression,” explained Endra.

Abi smiled as if he was mocking Endra who gave a cliche reason. “Jonestly, Sir. You are sorry if your daughter has been handled by a psychiatrist means her psyche is really disturbed. People will think Larisa is crazy.”

Davira glanced at her husband who was embarrassed. Hiding his reddened face because Abi's words are true.
