The Broken Ring's

The Broken Ring's
The most desired thing

Erick went straight to the guest room which he said was now Lalita's room. He was about to knock on the room, but his hand was just hanging in the air. For some reason, he hesitated to meet his wife in there, some sort of invisible barrier that Lalita now built between them. In fact, before that woman who kept trying to stick to him.

Urung knocked, Erick's hand turned to turn the knob of the room door. It turns out it's not locked. Soon the man slipped into the room and closed the door very carefully. The atmosphere of the room was dim, but Erick could still see clearly. He looked around the room with a feeling that now he did not understand how to describe it.

Lalita seems to have fallen asleep on the bed. Some of the women's belongings seem to have been arranged in several corners of the room, but there are two large suitcases that seem to be deliberately prepared. Lalita looked like a person who was about to prepare to go far away.

Erick was a little bit gasp at it. His heart wondered what really happened to his wife. He approached the bed and looked at Lalita's face, which now looked peaceful. She should have been happy that Lalita had drifted away by herself, but why was she unhappy instead?

Because it was impossible to wake Lalita up to ask for an explanation, Erick finally came out of the room and returned to his room upstairs. He immediately cleaned himself up, then lay on top of the bed with a thought that floated somewhere. Previously, every night after cleaning up, Erick would have quickly entered his study on the grounds that there was something he had to finish immediately, but just wanted to avoid Lalita.

However, now that Lalita herself chose to separate rooms, for whatever reason, Erick instead felt unhappy and agitated. He should be happy, right? Whatever the reason underlying the change in Lalita's attitude, it was important that she was no longer close to him. Is that what he's always wanted for the past two years? Then why did he even feel that it was not a good thing?

Irritated at his own thoughts, Erick rubbed his head several times. Never before had the man imagined that if there was a time when he was made upset by Lalita, the woman he claimed was the cause of his relationship with Larisa ran aground.

The night is getting late. Erick still could not close his eyes because he kept thinking about Lalita. Only when the time was near dawn did he manage to close his eyes. He almost woke up because no one woke him up. Fortunately, he had previously had the alarm on his phone, so he could still get up early, even with his head and eyes still feeling heavy.

After refreshing and looking as neat as ever when he was going to the office, Erick went downstairs to have breakfast at the dinner table. Lalita sat there and enjoyed her breakfast alone.

Lalita only glanced at Erick, then resumed eating without saying anything. For the most part Erick was astonished by the attitude Lalita showed. He sat down and watched his wife closely.

"Why did you suddenly move rooms?" erick then opened the conversation.

Again Lalita glanced at the man.

"Wind it," said Lalita then casually.

"There's no way you suddenly become wanting to move rooms just like that. There must be a cause, right?" ask Erick again.

"the cause?" lalita's birthday. "Oh, yes, there is. I felt stuffy in the room, it was hard to breathe. Hence, I decided to move to the guest room because there was more relief."

Erick looked at Lalita sharply. Want to be heard from any point of view, the reason thrown by Lalita is very unreasonable, considering the guest room has a large size that is much smaller than the main room that Lalita and Erick occupy. There's something Lalita's hiding, Erick knows it. But he was too proud to ask.

"Where are you going?" Erick asked again. He only realized that Lalita's current appearance looks like someone who wants a way out.

"There is business" said Lalita, still in a relaxed and indifferent tone.

"What business?"

"You don't need to know, which is obviously an important matter."

"Yesterday it seems like you also went all day and came home at night. Do you want that today too? What important business brings you home for the night?" asked Erick again in a more pressing tone.

Instead of feeling shriveled, unexpectedly, Lalita instead lifted her face and looked at Erick sharply.

"Why are you so busy asking? Didn't you ever want to know where I was going? In fact, when I was never able to go home because of a small accident that left me in the hospital, you didn't ask." Lalita nodded with sarcasm.

Erick was silent for a moment. He doesn't deny what Lalita said because everything is true. All this time, he did not really care about his wife and did not want to know what he was doing or even did not want to know what happened to him.

"Is that how you talk to your husband. Lita?" Erick finally dodged with that sacred phrase. Calling her husband is more intimidating.

However, unexpectedly, Lalita instead chuckled at the question Erick was asking her.

"Husband?" lalita repeated after easing her chuckle.

Erick seemed to be frowning.

"We were married two years ago, Erick. But since when did you really become my husband?" Replaced Lalita who asked, with a sarcastic tone of course.

"What do you mean?" ask Erick wonder.

"Not him who tries to play the role of a couple as best as possible it's just me?" Lalita smiled obliquely.

Erick was silent again.

"I don't want to bring up your attitude and treatment with me all this time, Erick. Ask yourself, have you really been my husband for two years?"

The atmosphere was silent for a moment because Erick did not respond to Lalita's complaint against him.

"After all, even though I came out, I never did anything bad. Today I also want to go out because I want to prepare our anniversary gift. It's past, but it doesn't seem too late. I'll give you the gift you want most" Lalita said.

"Do you know what I want with the most?" erick asked in a tone that sounded disdainful.

"I knew. Before, I didn't know. But now I know very well. Don't worry, I'll give it to you soon as our anniversary gift. Just hang. You'll be happy to take it." Lalita said casually, then continued her breakfast.
