A Small Change

The morning atmosphere looks bright. Arfan is seen sitting on the bench of his home garden while enjoying the morning sun. Just a moment ago he had just finished training his legs to walk without using any aids and now it seemed that the middle-aged man was feeling rather tired. He can walk, but still with a cane. His speech was also clear as ever.

"Papa." Lalita's voice called.

Arfan turned his head and found Lalita had been by his side. He smiled at his daughter.

"Drug do not forget to drink," said Lalita while putting a bottle of medicine and a glass of water on the table next to Arfan.

"Yes, thank you" said Arfan as he grabbed the drug and took it out. He then downed the medicine with the available water.

"I'm going to the hospital first, yeah, Pa. He said today Risa's sister was allowed out of the hospital," Lalita said again.

Arfan seemed silent for a while.

Arfan sighed again, then nodded.
