At noon, the atmosphere in the house began to feel unfriendly for Larisa. Mama and her papa seemed engrossed in chatting on the back porch while taking care of the flower plants. It doesn't feel good if Larisa comes crashing. Lalita and Rainer are watching a streaming movie in the living room. The newlywed couple seems to really make the house a honeymoon spot. It is no longer possible for Larisa to join.

Name's Zayn. He is one of the lawyers who joined the law firm owned by Hendro, Arfan's friend. Recently Larisa must take care of land acquisition for the benefit of hotel expansion. His work was certainly accompanied by a team of lawyers, one of whom was Zayn. From there they often met and eventually became quite close as they are now.

"What message do you want?" ask Zayn while looking at the menu list.

"Like it with yours" Larisa said. He is not really hungry and has no appetite for food.

"Alright," said Zayn as he placed the menu book. He called a waiter and ordered the same food and drink for himself and Larisa.

Not waiting long, the order was served. Larisa and Zayn ate the dish without saying much. They always do that when they are together. It is rare to talk if it is not about work. Either their relationship can be really close or not.

"Actually I invited you to meet because I wanted to talk about something" Zayn said after he and Larisa had finished eating.

"Isn't the land acquisition business completed by the end of the day and there are no more demands?" ask Larisa.

"It's not work, it's personal" Zayn replied.

Larisa. Suddenly his heart was pounding irregularly just from hearing Zayn want to talk about personal matters. After a long time closing his heart to the man, this is the first time he is not too vigilant. Larisa even felt a tremor she did not understand every time she got close to Zayn.

"Actually a few days ago my family contacted and informed me if my father's heart disease recurred. I went home, and there I was asked to get married." Zayn opened the conversation.

Larisa doesn't interrupt even though she doesn't really understand Zayn's conversation.

"Even if I don't have a candidate yet, my family is willing to prepare a future wife so that I can get married as my father wishes. It's ridiculous" Zayn added.

Larisa smiled in response. It seemed like Zayn was currently wanting to confide in him. Looks a little funny. A reliable lawyer who usually shows a sharp impression on every occasion, now even behaving in front of him.

"I know, it might surprise you, but I mean it. From the beginning, I fell in love with your personality and persistence. You are a dedicated person. I'm really amazed at you. And over time the feeling becomes much more than just a sense of awe," Zayn said again.

Larisa doesn't know what to respond to. She also actually liked Zayn, but with the flaws she had now, it seemed like the relationship with the man was impossible.

This was not the first time Larisa had heard the expression of feelings from a man. Three serious applications have come to him. They don't come from just anyone. However, at the time Larisa said that if she could not give offspring, everyone chose to retreat regularly. No one can accept that condition. So maybe it won't be much different now.

"Risa, we're both adults. It is not the time for us to have a relationship without direction like the young people do. If you're willing, I'd like to come officially to propose to you." Zayn again added in a serious tone.

Larisa raised her face and looked at the man for a glance. Zayn is a near-perfect figure and has an incredible background. "I'm not that good, Zayn" Larisa said. "What do you hope to gain from a marriage?" tanyanya.

"Peace? The affection? Descendant?" Larisa gives options.

"Wouldn't marriage give you all that?" Zayn asked back.

Larisa looked back at Zayn with a faint smile. He had expected, Zayn would definitely have the same thoughts as the previous men.

"Descendant, I'll never be able to give you that. So forget about your intention to come propose to me," Larisa said bitterly.
