"Lita, no. Don't be like this." Larisa also sniffled. That guilty feeling now filled his heart, making his chest feel so painful. After a long time he felt Lalita was just a selfish sister who wanted to win alone, now all these assumptions collapsed and left an unbearable sense of tightness.
Once again Lalita smiled, though tears were now flooding her cheeks.
"Don't feel bad, brother. I am the one who separated you. I should have put you back together. Hopefully after this you can live happily," said Lalita while releasing her hands. He then turned to Erick who was currently looking at him fixedly with an expression that was difficult to describe.
"Be happy Risa's sister, Erick," Lalita asked the man. The man who is still his legal husband.
Lalita's tears returned without warning. Anyway, that's how he feels right now. Which woman does not feel pain if she is in her current position. Giving up a beloved husband for another woman who is none other than her own brother, of course it is not something easy and simple. It takes a big heart and ocean-wide sincerity to do it.
However, behind all the pain she feels right now, Lalita believes that this decision is the best thing she has to do. Only in this way could she escape the shackles of an unhappy marriage.
"Lita ...." Erick was finally able to make a sound after trying his hardest.
Lalita raised her gaze for a moment towards the man. A soft smile returned to his lips even though his face was almost wet all because of tears. During his time as Erick's wife, Lalita heard his name called so softly and wholeheartedly.
"We need to talk first" Erick asked. His words sounded pleading, away from the flat impression like the words from his mouth that had been heard in Lalita's ears.
It's sad, when Lalita has been determined to unite him with Larisa, Erick even felt his heart was actually inclined to his wife. His love for Larisa who was so passionate, now I don't know where it went.
"Tomorrow our first trial schedule. Talk about what you want to talk to my lawyer about" Lalita said.
Erick gulped his saliva in somewhat fatigue. There was a foreign feeling that suddenly dominated when I heard Lalita's reply just now. Though he should feel happy because Lalita took it off with a chest of air, but why now he even felt afraid of losing?
"You don't have to worry, I don't demand anything and will make things quickly resolved" Lalita added, wiping away the remains of tears still filling her face.
Erick could only sculpt without being able to say anything more. Now he feels he has lost all rights to Lalita, even just that right to speak.
Lalita herself seemed to come back to Arfan who is currently sitting lethargic on one of the sofas in the room. The middle-aged man was seen massaging his temple while closing his eyes. A long sigh also occasionally sounded from his mouth.
"Papa" called Lalita lirih while sitting next to Arfan. The back of Arfan's hand was touched gently, and then he held the middle-aged man's hand.
"Regardless of right or wrong, I know that whatever Papa has done all this time is none other than because Papa loves me so much. Although my heart does not feel welcome, I also try to understand. But, Pa. .. there is one thing that Papa must also understand. That feeling cannot be forced. Forcing someone to love or love someone else, it is not something worth doing even though Papa gives a reward. Forced feelings will never give birth to sincerity ...." Lalita stopped her words and sighed for a moment.
"I hope Papa will fulfill it, because that is my last request to Papa. After this, I won't be a spoiled child anymore. I'll take responsibility for my own life."
"Lit." Arfan was finally no longer able to stem his feelings. He carried Lalita into his arms and held the princess tightly with a deep sense of guilt.
"I'm sorry Papa, Lita. Forgive Papa ...." Arfan's cry finally broke out.
"Papa didn't think that all this would make you miserable. Papa has made many mistakes because he loves you too much, without realizing that the consequences of Papa's actions will actually make you suffer. Papa just wants to make you happy ...."
"I know, Pa," said Lalita, replying to Arfan's embrace. Now it feels no longer necessary Arfan explained anything. Only with the middle-aged man admitting his mistake did Lalita already feel enough of it.
"Without Papa saying anything, I know that Papa loves me very much. I also know that Papa must also hold back a lot of feelings for me," said Lalita again.
"I hope Papa can also love Sis Risa and Mama like Papa loves me." Lalita added again.
Arfan unraveled his embrace and looked at his daughter with sadness. After being so hurt by many bitter realities, who would have thought Lalita was still so sincere about others. His heart was so pure, it reminded Arfan of his late biological mother, Dinara.
"I've conveyed what I wanted to tell Papa. Now I want to go home and rest. I'm not going to force Papa how, but I believe, Papa will definitely appreciate my wish," Lalita said as she got up from her seat.
Lalita stepped away from Arfan who was still frozen in place, then approached Riani who had just hung without a word.
"Mama" called Lalita to the middle-aged woman.
"Yes" said Riani in a hoarse voice holding back a cry. After listening to all Lalita's requests, now Riani's feelings feel like squeezed, to make her breath feel so stung.
"Thank you .. for all your affection. I'm sorry if I'm making Mama a lot of trouble" Lalita said.
Riani slightly turned her gaze the other way. His eyes blinked, but the warm clear liquid did not fall too even though it had been held as hard as it could.
"Mama must have sacrificed a lot for me. I hope your life will be happy after this." For the most part, Lalita expressed her sincere hope while smiling.
