The Regrets Too Late

Leino immediately turned her head towards the shout, and smiled widely as soon as she saw Higarashi, her own master, had returned. He then ran up to the Crown Prince of Halida, about to kneel before him, but, Higarashi immediately grabbed Leino's arms and stared at the royal secretary with a sharp eye.

“Your Majesty! Your Majesty!” leino exclaimed with trembling lips, and her cries suddenly broke.

"Tell me, what happened here? Where are all our servants and bodyguards? Why are there only warriors standing guard on each side of this palace?!” ask Higarashi in a high tone.

Leino with a face full of fear then replied, "Some of our servants and bodyguards have been killed by the Silverians, and their bodies have been turned into dust! Your Majesty, I was so frightened when I saw His Majesty the King being killed being harvested by someone, and I immediately ran here to hide inside that secret room!"

Hearing that answer, Higarashi immediately felt limp. He then removed his grip from both of Leino's arms, then let out a short sigh while clenching his right palm.

“How Silverian? Then, where are Mother and Keira?” he asked with a face that looked sad, but anger began to gather in his heart.

“I don't know, Your Grace. I only saw Her Highness the Crown Princess fighting together with the late His Majesty the King in the front yard of the palace, however, I ...,” replied Leino who was starting to get confused.

“I won't blame you for hiding, because this isn't your fault. It was all my folly to leave Planet Halida for the sake of a letter, which turned out to be a trap to separate me and Keira. Calm yourself first, because you have to prepare a lot after this,” said Higarashi who tried to remain calm in front of Leino so that the secretary of his kingdom did not continue to feel afraid.

“Yang Mulia ...,” reply Leino while lowering her head.

Higarashi only smiled slightly, then ran quickly, down every hallway and room in the palace to find Keira and Klafina. However, even though he had searched the corner of the palace, his wife and mother were not found anywhere.

He then stopped running in one of the hallways, then muttered, “I shouldn't have left this morning. Me .. yeah, it's all my fault. I fell into their trap, and I didn't realize it either. Stupid fool!”

Higarashi almost cried, however, he suddenly realized something. He stood up straight and looked straight ahead.

“Last page!” yells.

He then ran to the backyard, and his guess was right. Higarashi stopped running as soon as he saw Xyon and the other three senior generals, who were apparently kneeling in the middle of the palace backyard while surrounding someone, from a distance.

Higarashi then squinted his eyes and saw a dark blue haired woman lying on the grass.

“Keira!” yells.

He immediately ran quickly towards them, then stood beside Keira whose body looked weak with so many incision wounds and torn clothes. He then knelt down, about to carry Keira, however, Xyon raised his right hand to block him.

“Prime Minister Xyon!” higarashi shouted with an annoyed face while looking at Xyon.

“There's nothing you can do anymore, son!” exclaim Xyon with a sharp look in the eyes.

Higarashi let out a long sigh, then turned to Keira and grabbed his wife's right palm, then clasped it tightly.

"We did manage to kill some of their troops, but after someone had injured Keira like this, they suddenly fled with the spaceship" Weim said.

Xyon then lowered his head in front of Higarashi.

Keira suddenly spoke in a soft tone after that, "I'm sorry, it's all my fault that can't protect both of them.. If only I didn't leave both of them …."

Higarashi immediately shook his head once and replied, "No, this stupid me has already fallen into a trap. You're right, Keira. I even came because of my curiosity about that stupid letter …."

"Letter?" asked Xyon while looking straight at the Crown Prince from Halida.

"A waiter last night gave me a letter. Someone asked me to come to Planet Earth alone because he had information about the Silverians, and stupidly, I just followed that request, hoping to prevent all of this. I'm sorry, Keira!" higarashi exclaimed, and his tears began to trickle down, soaking his face.

He bowed, and Xyon could only sigh deeply after listening to that.

"Is there an intruder on the planet?" ask Arex with a face full of suspicion.

"Inbreathers?" ask Nordian.

“I'll see that later, but now, we should take Keira to Planet Palladina to get Healing Renovatio,” said Higarashi.

“Can't,” reply Xyon.

Higarashi looked directly at the Prime Minister of Palladina with a astonished face.

“Why can't? Couldn't Keira do Healing Renovatio to herself? I'll ask a female servant to do it there!” hygarashi.

“Keira .. is a Crossbreed, Higarashi,” Weim said.

Higarashi still doesn't seem to understand his point. He could only shake his forehead.

“Keira is a mortal creature that has immortal power,” said Arex.

This time, the Crown Prince of Halida immediately glared, and turned his head back towards Keira. His wife smiled slightly, and Higarashi lowered his head.

"I .. must take responsibility for this mess. If I hadn't married you, they wouldn't have targeted you and Planet Halida like this. You won't lose both your parents. Ii'm sorry. I'll take responsibility for this mess" Keira said.

Xyon suddenly pushed Higarashi's body, then helped Keira to sit down, then exclaimed, "Responsible, you say?! Your light energy is only a little left! You'll feel even more weak once all the light energy you have runs out! I'll get you right out of here, and recharge your light energy!"

However, Keira immediately pushed Xyon's body from his side, and with an irritated face and eyeballs that had already turned dark blue, he then raised both of his hands up, and shouted, "I will not use light energy. I ... will give protection to this planet, with the antimatter energy I have by creating a shield that envelops all parts of the planet!"
