The curse of the Xbreed: Silverian & Blackerian
The Past - Part XX

The atmosphere started to get very tense, due to the fight between the father and son. The judges began to be amazed, because despite several brutal attacks, Derix still could not hurt or bring down Xyon. They attacked each other without any doubt.

Due to Xyon's small and very agile body, Derix eventually begins to be overwhelmed, but he does not also give up on bringing down the young man. As soon as the opportunity arose, Xyon who was filled with anger suddenly pointed the sharp edge of his cosmic sword right where his father's heart was.

"Stop! Xyons! Stop that!! Stop this fight right now!” shouted the entire jury who suddenly stood up and was shocked by the deadly attack, even their faces looked panicked.

Xyon immediately glared after hearing the screams from the judges, and quickly, he immediately stopped his attack. He almost pierced his own father's heart, until Derix's cosmic sword fell on the grass after he became very surprised at the young man's attack on him just now.

All the participants and the judges fell silent, including Xyon, until his cosmic sword disappeared, turning into fine dust.

He immediately realized his mistake, then bowed himself before Derix and exclaimed, "I'm sorry, Senior General! Again, I'm sorry!"

After a while, the judges then stood up and clapped. Xyon then stood straight back up and turned towards them with a puzzled face.

"Truly an incredible fight!" one of the jurors.

"Of course he is the son of Senior General Derix. What a thrilling fight" said another judge.

“You are truly great, Xyon,” whispered Derix with a stern face, and his cosmic sword also disappeared after that.

Without returning the praise, the young man then walked towards the place where he had been sitting. He sat a little distance away from the other examinees, with a sad face.

“Hyerin,” murmured in mind.

The test would certainly soon assert himself as a candidate general, meaning he was no longer free to leave, as he was obliged to follow his superiors, and had to always escort the king and empress, respectively, and princes and princesses. He cannot move without orders. Although his position would rise, he felt it was a torture.

Derix of course noticed the only boy from a distance. His face looked solemnly at Xyon who was sitting while speechless.

One of the jurors then stood up and exclaimed, "We still have to calculate your grades, so, we hope that you can go back first. We will announce the results in seven days. We will discuss with Senior General Derix after this.”

The examinees, including Xyon, then stood up and bowed, then returned upright. They entered the palace one by one. However, Xyon was instead seen walking towards the main hall. Accidentally, Arnea looked at the young man who was walking while staring at the floor.

He hurriedly walked towards his personal guard with a big smile and exclaimed, “Xyon!”

Xyon immediately turned to the side, then he stopped stepping while lowering his head and replied, "Your Majesty, is there anything I can help you with today?"

Arnea now stood before the young man with a short sigh.

"Ah, you just happened to pass by! Have you heard from your father, Senior General Derix?" ask the Crown Prince.

"I just eavesdropped on the conversation between the Master Teacher and your father inside his private study," Arnea replied softly.

"So, what have you heard, Your Majesty?" reply Xyon with a flat face.

"Look, Senior General Derix looks like he's about to enter you into a High-ranking Royal School! Isn't that good, Xyon?! Of course, according to your father, you must have a lot of knowledge before actually becoming a general, and I completely agree with that!" arnea exclaimed, still with a big smile on her face.

Xyon immediately glared sharply at the Crown Prince after listening to that, as if not believing what he had just heard.

"Dad ..., is Dad going to put me in the Royal School?" muttered Xyon softly while now staring down, with a slightly surprised face.

"The Royal School has an interesting technology. You'll graduate in just one year, Xyon! Hasn't Senior General Derix focused on teaching you how to fight instead of giving you cosmic books that contain knowledge of the universe and the galaxy?!" arnea asked without knowing anything about the feelings of her personal bodyguard.

Xyon's breathing started to sound heavy. He suddenly lowered his head before Arnea with a huffed face.

"Your Majesty, I must leave first. I'm sorry, "he said, then in a hurry, he ran back into the palace, to his father's private study.

Arnea was slightly surprised by the swift action of her personal bodyguard just now, and she could only shake her head in confusion. As soon as Xyon arrived in front of his father's private workspace, rudely, he opened the door and went inside.

Derix, who was standing reading a cosmic book beside the window to the left of the room, was immediately shocked to hear the sound of the door, and quickly turned his head there. His face immediately turned serious once he saw Xyon who was now standing before him.

"Dad! What do you mean by Royal School?! Did Dad put me in there?!" ask the boy in a high tone.

Derix then walked up to Xyon, then stood nearby and replied, "Yes, what I should have done since you were six."

"Dad!" exclaimed Xyon irritatedly as he glared at that father.

"Xyon! All you know is how to fight, and it's my fault! This time, I will make you to learn all the knowledge of the universe and the Metal Galaxy, so that you will no longer do anything stupid, like that ring!" reply Derix in high notes.

Wyona is seen walking towards Derix's private workspace, about to deliver lunch for him. However, he immediately stopped his steps as soon as he heard the sound of an exclamation from a man, inside the room.

"Dad! I don't want to go in there!" xyon said, holding back his anger.

"Xyon! What is it with you, actually?! Why don't you take the royal exam? Why don't you want to enter the Royal School?! Tell me, to your father this, so that your mother and I don't suspect you all the time about the ring!" call Derix again.

The wife who was standing in front of the door of Derix's private workspace, then brought her ears closer to the door. He began to eavesdrop on the quarrels of his father and son.
