A Failed Plan
Xyon immediately glared sharply looking at his surroundings after listening to the remark. He did not expect that the terrible scenery welcomed their arrival in the remote village.
Slowly, he stepped forward, then turned to the left and to the right. The human body lying just like that everywhere, although there were not many, did not seem to frighten him.
Xyon felt suspicious and asked in his heart, “Is this really the work of the Silverians? Why are they so brave to do this?”
He stopped in front of the body of a man. Xyon kneeled down and looked at the body slowly. While frowning his forehead, he noticed the wounds that were all over the human body. The wounds from the sharp sword scratches, until the blood flowing from within the incision wound blackened.
Xyon shook his head while sighing deeply. After that, he stood up, and again looked around him. Sey and Weim who followed behind, could only stand up while looking at the attitude of the senior general.
“The incision wounds in this human body, as well as the other humans here, are all marks of sword incisions that are swung quickly. It seems like this killer is in a hurry. The blood that flowed out from within their stab wounds, instantly blackened, as if not an ordinary sword that tore their skin,” Weim said with a serious face.
Xyon nodded, “Ya. These were definitely the cosmic weapons of dark energy belonging to the Silverians. They killed humans with energies that the mortal could not touch yet, so their blood instantly froze and blackened like that.”
With a serious face, Sey turned to Weim and asked, “Weim, then why are you here?”
Weim let out a long sigh, then replied, “After I shouted that it was the spaceship that we suspected belonged to the Silverians, Her Majesty the Queen immediately ran over there. However, as soon as we were about to arrive, the spacecraft suddenly turned into a dark flash that shot up into the sky.”
“Then? Have you not seen those Silverians kill these humans at all?” asked Sey in a slightly high tone.
Weim let out a short sigh and said, “Ah, the thing is, after we got here, is, we are just like you who immediately stopped and were surprised once we saw the bodies of these humans lying on the ground and some houses were burned. Her Majesty the Queen then ran into this village, and ordered us to check, whether there are still humans who can be saved or not.”
“Then, where is Her Majesty the Queen now?” xyon asked without looking back.
“A human woman is seen hugging her son is behind a house. He cried in silence while trying to calm the boy. His Majesty then found him, and he is now there together with the human woman,” Weim replied firmly.
“Show me where the man's house is,” reply Xyon.
Weim nodded. He quickly walked toward a house in the corner of the village, followed by Sey and Xyon, along with the soldiers who had been with the senior general since.
But suddenly, a human man whose body was covered in blood, suddenly appeared from beside a burning house and stood before Weim, until they all stopped stepping in shock at the presence of the human man.
The human man then lifted the dagger and pointed it at Weim while exclaiming with anger, “What are you looking for in this village? Which country are you all from?!”
“Country?” weim asked with a panicked face, however, suddenly, Xyon firmly exclaimed, “What has happened here?”
The man then replied in a high tone, “Isn't this the work of your royal forces? We were suddenly attacked by a horde of people coming out of a giant object that floated above our village! Now that you are also seen carrying so many troops, are you fighting each other? Then, why should we attack and kill all of us in this village?"
Unexpectedly, the human man then took two steps forward and unsheathed the dagger he was holding with his left hand, right at the tip of Weim's nose were several soldiers standing behind Xyon and Sey, seen raising their hands and almost taking out their cosmic swords.
Seeing that, quickly, the senior general raised his right hand parallel to his head, exclaiming, “Hold!”
The entire panicked-looking soldier then slowly returned to lower their hands.
“Hah! You guys are the same team as all of them! Tell me, which country are you from? Is it an eastern country or a western country? Yes, I admit that this village is a remote village and many countries want to rule this village, just because of the abundant resources in this forest! Now, you've seen for yourself this village is falling apart, so what else are you here for? Go!” the man shouted with emotion.
Xyon, Sey, and Weim could only glare intently at the human man with a pair still tensed between them all.
Meanwhile, in another part of the forest, a large black spaceship is parked right next to a river whose water looks clear.
A man is seen standing next to the spaceship gazing towards the river with an annoyed face.
Another man who was standing next to her, then sighed shortly and asked, “Your Majesty, how is it now? Are you still going to take the energy that is inside that village?”
“That damn Palladina, where did they know where we were here? Dovrix, are you so sure that none of them were anywhere near the Silverian Planet when Silvir bolted out?” asked the man, who was apparently Flerix.
“I've checked the exterior of Planet Silverian many times, Your Majesty. I can confirm that they are not patrolling around us,” replied Dovrix.
Flerix took a long breath. His face looked so irritated that he clenched his right hand while glaring sharply at a tree.
“Your Majesty, do you still want the heat energy of the planet?” dovrix asked with a face filled with doubt.
