The Past - Part VI

"Hmm, I'm a magician, but the thing is, I can only conjure a sword, that's all my skills," Xyon replied with a flat face.

Hyerin chuckled, then replied, "I'm sorry, Xyon. Just this time there was someone who made me laugh again after the departure of my parents. Thank you for accompanying me today."

"It's an honor for me to be able to make you laugh again, Miss," the young man replied, still expressionless at all.

The black haired girl smiled. They then walked back until they finally arrived in front of the inn building. The two then stepped back to their respective rooms.

"Thank you, Xyon. See you tomorrow" said Hyerin, then he reached into his pants pocket and unlocked the door, went inside, and then closed the door again.

After that, Xyon did the same. This time, his door lock was not jammed like yesterday so he easily entered his private room. He closed the door and sat on the floor leaning against the wall.

“I don't understand what this feeling is. Am I in pain? Why is my heart beating so fast after seeing her smile? Ah, it's impossible. Isn't it my job to protect her?” muttered Xyon while shaking his head once.

While in the other room, Hyerin was also seen sitting on the cold floor while leaning her body beside the bed. His face reddened as he recalled Xyon fighting the big men to save him.

"I ... only this time saw a man who was so good at fighting. He was very brave, there was really no fear visible on his face, even though the thug's body was huge!" murmured Hyerin with teary eyes.

He suddenly recalled when Xyon held his hand tightly and they ran together until they arrived at the edge of the beautiful lake.

"Geez, what am I thinking? Xyon did it all because he was a man! He's supposed to protect a girl like me, right? Holy jeez!" he shouted in a slow tone.

It was getting dark and suddenly someone knocked on Xyon's room door. Fortunately, he had not fallen asleep, and immediately walked up to the door, then opened it.

"Your Majesty," said Xyon, bowing for a while, then he stood up straight again.

"There's something I want to talk to you about" whispered Arnea, who this time came alone unaccompanied by his wife, Klara.

"Please enter, Your Majesty," the bodyguard replied, inviting the Crown Prince to enter his room.

Arnea then stepped inside, and Xyon immediately shut the door.

"Sit wherever you feel comfortable, Your Majesty," Xyon said.

"Ah, no need. I'll hurry, Xyon. Uh, look .., I'm actually with Klara, coming here just for a honeymoon. Father did not allow me to stay here even for a while," said Arnea with a slightly irritated face.

"So is your study of humans on Planet Earth just an excuse, Your Grace?" asked Xyon with a flat face.

Arnea immediately let out a short sigh as soon as she saw the face of her personal bodyguard.

"Jeez, Xyon. Why is your face always flat and cold without such an expression? No woman will come near you! Ah, excuse, you say?" his reply.

"Geez, Xyon! You can't go back first! Dad would scold me if he knew I was here just for fun! You really can't read minds, apparently," replied Arnea with a flushed face.

"Alright, Your Majesty," Xyon replied, still with a flat face.

Arnea smiled widely, then reached into the pocket of her right pants and took out a small pouch containing silver coins. I don't know how many silver coins there are, but he immediately handed the object to Xyon.

"Then, here, take it. You can use it to shop, buy food and drink, or whatever it is! Have fun for yourself before we get back, Xyon! Let's just say it's vacation time for you, don't you think? " ask Arnea in a low tone.

Xyon nodded, then he said, "That's how it looks. All right, Your Majesty. I'm not going to bother you and Her Royal Highness Crown Princess.”

“Nah, so! Now, I'll go first! Klara's been waiting for me there!” arnea.

Quickly, Arnea walked out and left the door open, leaving Xyon confused with the bag of silver coins that her master had just given her.

"Gosh," he murmured softly, then he closed the door of his room tightly and continued, “Is Your Majesty urging me not to bother him with these silver coins?"

He then put the bag in his pants pocket. Then, he lay down on the bed while closing his eyes. But suddenly Hyerin appeared in his mind until he opened his eyes wide again. His heart immediately beat rapidly and his face was now flushed red.

"Good, that girl again. No, can. I can't be like this. I am the only successor of my father, and I have to take the test to become a general after this. After all, the girl was human," he murmured softly with a serious face.

Xyon finally fell asleep after he felt restless and continuously changed his sleeping position. The intense night brought him into tranquility and peace as his sleep deepened. The next morning, Xyon was seen sitting on the bed staring at the clock on the wall above the door of his room.

As soon as the clock was pointing at the number ten, he stood up and walked out of his room. He also did not forget to lock the door this time, slowly. He then stood up while leaning his back against the wall, then after a while, Hyerin looked out from inside his room. The girl locked the door, then looked to the side.

"Big, Xyon! Good morning!" hyerin said with a small smile.

Xyon's face turned red again after the smile made her pause for a while.

"Are you going to work soon?" ask the young man slowly.

"Of course, because yesterday I came home too soon, so maybe today, I'll go home a little bit late. The ladies and gentlemen of the restaurant owner were very kind to me. I've thought of them as my own father and mother for a long time" Hyerin said.

“Ah, so ...,” reply Xyon with his flat face.

Hyerin then let out a short sigh, then said, “Then, I will leave first. See you back!"

Hyerin then walked over, about to get out of the inn building but suddenly Xyon took her hand. He immediately stopped his steps and turned his head towards the young man.

"What's up, Xyon? Why do you always pull someone else's arm like that?" hyerin asked with a flushed face.
