The Tension Between the Two

Higarashi stared at the man's back with a sharp look of eyes, then closed the door.

"Prime Minister Xyon," he said, then he asked, "What are you doing here?"

It turned out that the man was Xyon, who had been waiting for him ever since. He immediately looked back, then stood up and walked closer to Higarashi, then looked at him with a sharp gaze.

The atmosphere immediately became tense.

“Your Highness Crown Prince Higarashi of Halida,” Xyon said.

“How did you know that I was here?” ask Higarashi.

Xyon did not answer.

“Ah,” said Higarashi, “you are our allies, Palladina and Halida. Even when you were appointed prime minister when I was a child, I came with my parents to witness your coronation. So, what has made you come here ... secretly?”

"Then why are you here on planet Earth?" ask Xyon.

"Why can't it? I have business here" Higarashi replied.

Xyon instantly raised his right hand and a cosmic sword appeared within his grasp. He then directed it under the neck of the Crown Prince of Halida. Without any fear at all, Higarashi looked at Xyon even more sharply with a cynical smile.

"Prime Minister Xyon, did you know that you were threatening a crown prince from Halida? You want to beat the war drums on us, like those Silverians?" tanyakanya.

Xyon replied, "Oh, Your Highness Crown Prince Higarashi of Halida. I came here today not as prime minister, but as a man."

"Well, what do you want to say as a man?" ask Higarashi again.

The Prime Minister of Palladina then let out a short sigh, then said, "Stay away from Keira.”

Higarashi was immediately surprised by the remark. He even scrunched his forehead.

"Keira? That dark blue haired girl?" tanyakanya.

"Yes. Stay away from Keira before you and your planet fall victim to the Silverians. I say this for your safety" replied Xyon.

"Put down your weapon, there's no need to threaten me like that. We can talk about this all right, can't we?" asked Higarashi in a serious tone.

Xyon was actually getting closer to his cosmic sword towards Higarashi.

"I should have blocked your meeting when the two of you met in that small town" he said.

"What do you mean, I can't like Keira?" ask Higarashi.

"You can like every girl in the world, except her. I warned you. Never go near Keira again! Your feelings for her could put the girl in even more danger!" exclaimed Xyon, this time a face filled with anger.

Higarashi let out a short sigh, then exclaimed, "Explain to me the reason I can accept, why can't I love her?! Is not by your presence here, to prove that the aura of cosmic energy I feel from him is true, he is not a human, but the same immortal as us?”

He shook his head once, then let out a long sigh after listening to the confession from Higarashi just now.

"Alright, Son. Keira has the title of Her Royal Highness Princess of Palladina. Well, do you understand now?" ask Xyon.

Higarashi let out a small laugh for a while, then asked, "You're making things up. The late Her Majesty Queen Anexta never married, so why did Keira have the title of princess? Did Her late Queen Majesty adopt her?"

Xyon this time was really upset.

He then walked one step forward and stood very close to Higarashi, then whispered, "Keira is the biological child of the late Her Majesty Queen Anexta, with a human man. The aura of cosmic energy that you feel inside her, what is it?”

Both of Higarashi's eyeballs instantly enlarged. He then looked at Xyon with a face that looked panicked.

"Keira ... Keira .. is a Crossbreed?” whispered.

Xyon then walked back one step and lowered his hand so that his cosmic sword disappeared, then he nodded once while still staring at Higarashi with a sharp look in his eyes.

“Cannot be. If he was a Crossbreed, he couldn't be here. You're making it up!" higarashi exclaimed, as if not accepting with what Xyon had just said.

Xyon immediately gripped tightly onto both shoulders of Higarashi, then exclaimed, "Hey young man! Keira really is a Crossbreed, and ever since in the womb, she is already in danger! The Silverians, they're after Keira because knowing that the energy he has is so powerful and deadly! All of us, me, and the other four supreme generals, were forced to guard Keira from a distance, simply because we were afraid that they would find out of her existence! Precisely your presence here, really makes everything .. a mess! Stay away from Keira as soon as possible, or you and her, even we'll all be in grave danger!"

After hearing Xyon's long words just now, Higarashi immediately felt weak. The Prime Minister of Palladina then took off his grip from Higarashi's shoulder, sighing.

"No way! Anyway I don't want to! I've been waiting for him for twelve years and just because he's a Crossbreed, then I should give up, right? It won't! I'll protect her!” hygarashi exclaimed in a high tone.

This time Xyon was completely filled with anger.

He then clasped Higarashi's collar tightly while whispering softly, "I've reminded you of this. If your planet or Keira is in danger, then you're the only one to blame!"

"Hey old man! Keira is always being bullied by those fucking humans, and then you say that you've been guarding her from a distance. So where were you when he was sad because of all the bullying? Where are you guys, huh?" asked Higarashi with a face that also looked annoyed.

Xyon fell silent. He suddenly removed his grip from the collar of Higarashi's shirt. The two of them were now staring at each other with their increasingly tense atmosphere.

"Let Keira choose from her heart, neither do you have the right to govern her. After all, you were never beside him even as the bullying he received grew more and more! What right do you have to stop it?" hygarashi.

“Both of his parents and adopted aunt were killed by those Silverians, and you still ask the same question. Shouldn't you stay away from him, Your Majesty?” ask Xyon?

Higarashi let out a small laugh after hearing that.

Due to that question, Xyon was seen clenching his right hand.

"All right, I'll admit it. We all had to take turns to patrol inside the Metal Galaxy, and sometimes, we didn't keep an eye on Keira at all" Xyon said, then he let out a long sigh, and continued, "You two are grown up. But if one day my words become true, you should never expect me to protect you, even if Planet Halida is always our ally. I warned you, remember it's fine!"
