The Past - Part I

Let's play with space and time, to retreat into the past.

Xyon, an eighteen-year-old young man, is from Planet Palladina. His father, Derix, was a white-haired man with brown eyeballs, who had the title of the only Senior General at the time, respected by the entire populace for his courage, craft, and, and his loyalty in guarding the Metal Galaxy and his kingdom. He was about sixty years old and still looked handsome.

His mother was Wyona, a butler with purple-colored hair and eyeballs who was highly respected by the inhabitants of the palace because of his assertiveness. Her age was more or less the same as Derix, but her beauty still made men tempted.

Since Xyon's eighteenth birthday, his father and mother gave him a ring made of palladium metal, as well as engraved his own name, “XYON”, as a gift for his maturity. He always wore the ring on his left ring finger, while he fought using the cosmic sword with his right hand.

The ruler of the Palladina kingdom at the time was His Majesty King Treya, a seventy-year-old man with dark blue hair and gray eyeballs, as well as his wife, Her Highness Empress Veina was the same age and had white hair with light blue eyeballs.

At the time, Arnea was still a prince with the title of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, with his wife, His Highness the Crown Princess Klara. Due to his proximity to Arnea, and his intelligence and skill in fighting, Xyon is then asked by the King to become the Crown Prince's personal bodyguard.

“Be careful after you become a personal bodyguard for the Crown Prince, Xyon,” whispered his father before he decided to accept the offer.

One day, Arnea meets Xyon in the backyard of the palace. It just so happened that at that time, Xyon was training with his cosmic sword, alone. The Crown Prince then approached Xyon and stood beside him with a wide smile.

"Your Majesty, please just tell me directly, what you want," xyon said as he looked at Arnea with a serious face after bending down to salute the Crown Prince and standing straight back up after.

"Ah, you can always guess my thoughts, more than my wife!" arnea.

Xyon simply fell silent without replying to the call.

"You're always cold, aren't you? Okay, here. I've spoken to my father, so that I can stay on Planet Earth for a while with Klara" Arnea replied.

"Dead on Planet Earth?" xyon asked as he scrunched his forehead.

"I am a Crown Prince, and of course, I am also a guardian of the galaxy, right? Well, I want to learn all about the mortal humans who live there," Arnea said with a small smile.

Xyon let out a short sigh, then replied, “You only want a honeymoon together with Her Royal Highness the Crown Princess, right?”

Arnea fell silent, then laughed for a while and said, “Yes, actually, you could have thought this was a honeymoon, because we just got married last month.”

"If so, Your Majesty, I won't come with you" Xyon replied.

"Ah, don't be. Klara and I just got married, and I really need you to discuss about those humans. Come, Xyon. Dad wouldn't let me if I just went alone with my wife, so, I told him that you agreed to come along" Arnea said with teary eyes.

Xyon rolled his eyeballs once, as he was convinced that the reason was fabricated.

“Alright, Your Majesty. When can I come with you to go there?" ask her with a flat face.

"Tomorrow morning" answered Arnea.

"And where will you stay, Your Majesty?" ask Xyon again.

Xyon let out a short sigh again, then went back to asking, "So, am I going to stay one room with you and your wife, Your Majesty?"

Arnea was immediately shocked to hear the question, then she replied, "Gosh, no, no, Xyon! Just be right! I'll rent a different room for you!”

Xyon's face had no expression at all, because the teachings of his father were so harsh since childhood, that all he knew was how to fight. She looked cold, although many female servants liked her handsome physique.

“Alright, Your Majesty,” Reply Xyon.

Arnea smiled widely after hearing the agreement. The next morning, he and Klara were already seen standing next to the interplanetary train that was about to escort them. Treya and Veina, of course, were also there to escort the two.

"Geez, where's Xyon going? Where is he?!" murmured Arnea while looking around her, looking for the whereabouts of her personal bodyguard.

Suddenly, Derix and Xyon were seen running out from within the palace in a hurry. They then stood in front of Treya and immediately bowed for a while before returning to their feet.

"Your Majesty! Please forgive our delay!" said Derix with a serious face.

Arnea's face became so elated after seeing Xyon who had just arrived.

"Since Xyon has arrived here, we will be leaving soon, Father, Mother,”.

"Your Majesty! I hope Xyon can provide protection for both of you!" derix exclaimed as he bowed his body in front of Arnea.

"Then from that, I asked Xyon to accompany me, Senior General Derix!" reply Arnea with a smile.

Derix then stood up straight again, and Arnea looked at her father and mother and said, "Well then, Father, Mother, I'll go first. Comein, Xyon!"

He bowed before Treya and Veina, along with his wife and Xyon, and stood up again.

"Dad, Mom, we're leaving now,” Klara said, just to say goodbye politely.

“Come in, and don't forget, take good care of yourself!” exclaim Treya with a happy face.

After Arnea and Clare entered first, and Xyon after. The interplanetary carriage door was then tightly shut, and it quickly turned into a small star that shot up into the sky, leaving Palladina, leading to Planet Earth.

It did not take long, the transportation then entered the atmosphere of Planet Earth whose sky was still dark because it was still dawn, then landed in a quiet park with dense trees in a small, beautiful and simple city.

Arnea and Klara came out first, and Xyon afterwards, while each carrying personal belongings with several large bags with backs.

“Don't until you're lost. Just follow my steps,” said Arnea.

They then walked towards the inn building referred to by Arnea earlier, which was on the side of the main road. The building looks small, but has many rooms and some of them have been rented by the newcomers.
