The Past - Part III

Xyon then went inside his own room immediately let out a long sigh. He then locked the door again with the same key, but this time, he turned it slowly until it finally locked tightly.

“That girl is right, not everything has to be handled harshly,” muttered again with a small smile.

The day was passed by Xyon with physical exercise in the room, and did not realize that the day was getting late. His stomach suddenly rang so loudly that he was forced to stop his training, then sat on the bed while looking straight ahead.

“I ... completely forgot to bring Earth money,” he said slowly.

He lay down and fell asleep, not realizing that morning would soon be noon. Xyon even still enjoys beautiful dreams in the Kapok realm.

Suddenly there was a knock outside the door of his room.

"Xyon!" a woman came out from behind the door.

However, the young man had still not woken up either.

"Xyon! Hey!" the woman shouted while still knocking on the door of the room increasingly loudly.

This time Xyon woke up, and immediately opened his eyes wide, then looked out the window while still lying on his bed.

"Xi!! Awake up!!" she cried again, knocking on the door louder.

"God!! It's almost noon!" muttered Xyon, and in a hurry, he got up from his bed and exclaimed, "Wait a minute!!"

He ran to the door and opened it in a hurry, then looked at a woman whose face was getting upset because she had been waiting for him at the door of her room for a long time.

"Your Majesty! Oh my God, I'm sorry!!!" exclaimed Xyon while glaring, then he bowed his body in front of the woman.

"Geez, Xyon!" reply that woman who apparently is Klara while carrying a small pouch with her right hand, “what are you? Why did you just wake up this afternoon?!”

“I'm sorry, Your Majesty,” said the young man with a reddened face to endure embarrassment.

“It's not like you, gosh. We wanted to invite you to go together, but he knocked on your door many times without an answer, so we decided to go alone,” Klara said with an annoyed face.

He then gave the small pouch to Xyon. The young man then stood up straight, took it from Klara's hand slowly and stuffed it into the pocket of the brown right trousers he was wearing that morning.

"I'm sorry, Your Majesty! I'm really grateful!" xyon exclaimed as he began to bend his body back in front of Klara.

"Jeez, lower your voice! The humans who are here could have heard you calling me that!" whispered Klara.

"Alright, Your Majesty," said Xyon who then stood up straight again, then said again, "Your Majesty, I'll get ready soon."

"No need, Xyon. The Crown Prince was in a library waiting for me to return. We want to enjoy it here alone. Well, since you have time to be alone, make the best use of it, including the Earth money I gave you earlier, don't spend it quickly. Then, I will leave first," Klara replied and after that, she walked away leaving Xyon still standing there.

Xyon could only let out a short sigh as soon as he saw the Crown Princess now gone. Suddenly, Hyerin came out from inside her room which was right next to Xyon's room. The two young man's eyes immediately stared at the black haired girl.

Hyerin instantly realized that Xyon was watching her, and with a smile, she looked at him while locking the door of the room.

Hyerin's smile really made Xyon's heart beat so fast that he was confused by what he had to say to reply to her good morning.

“Alright then, I'll go first. See you soon!” hyerin said while still smiling widely, then took a slow step to get out of the inn building.

"Ah, wait!" exclaimed Xyon who suddenly grabbed Hyerin's left arm until the girl stopped stepping and turned her head towards him.

They were now staring at each other with reddened faces, but after a few seconds, Hyerixn immediately released the grip to make Xyon panic.

“Gosh, I'm sorry, Hyerin,” said the young man with a flushed face.

Hyerin smiled slightly, then replied, “Is there anything I can help you with again, Xyon?"

"Ouch! Why do I say that?!" exclaimed Xyon in his mind until he was silent for a while.

"Xyon?" hyerin asked again while looking at the young man with a face full of confusion.

"Ah, ah, the sun is almost overhead, isn't it already daytime?" xyon asked, and somehow he himself was confused by what he had just asked.

Hyerin chuckled, then replied, "Yes, I have to go to work around noon, or the restaurant owner will scold me if it comes too late."

"Restaurant owner?" ask Xyon again while frowning his forehead.

"I work at one of the restaurants near here. Since my parents were gone, I moved to this small town and started working to support myself, then with my salary, I was finally able to rent a room to stay" Hyerin replied.

"Ah, forgive my question just now, Hyerin," Xyon replied with a visibly riled up face.

Hyerin smiled back, then said, "Ah, no problem, Xyon. I'm glad I could be friends with you. All right, then, I'll go first."

He then walked quickly to get out of the inn, but Xyon could not stop staring at him. The young man closed the door to his room and was silent for a moment.

"Restaurant?" mumbling slowly.

After a few minutes, Xyon then ran out, heading towards the main road.

“Restaurant, restaurant,” said itself.

While watching his surroundings, he continued to step in a hurry, until his two eyes stared at a restaurant not too far from the inn. Without a doubt, he immediately ran up to it and got into it, then sat down on a chair on the right side of the restaurant, he looked around and placed both hands on the table in front of him.

A girl is seen walking up to him, then giving him a menu book from the restaurant. Xyon immediately turned his head and looked at him with a flat face. Of course the girl returned her gaze.

"Xyon?!" said slowly.

"Hyerin?" muttered Xyon, "ah, apparently you work for this restaurant."

"Gosh, you surprised me. All right, what do you want to order?" hyerin asked as he reached into a book and pencil from the pocket of his white short skirt on the left.

Xyon opened the menu book and read it slowly, then after a while, he replied, "I want a cup of coffee and a small cake."
