The Past - Part XI

"I'm really going to be fine, Hyerin. I'm calmer too" said Xyon.

"It's all because of me. I'm sorry, Xyon. I'll be here to take care of you, maybe three days? Yes, because I can't possibly let you die here, gosh," Hyerin replied as she rolled her eyeballs once.

Xyon suddenly looked at the girl with a serious face.

"Hyerin, I won't die with just a small wound like this" he replied with a flat face.

Hyerin started to become annoyed at the sight of that face.

"Your face sucks. All right, I'll replace the small towel that covers your wound with a new one" Hyerin said as she scrunched her forehead.

He was about to stand up straight, however, his hand accidentally touched the glass filled with water that was on the floor, beside Xyon's bed spilled and made him shocked to slip with his head landed on the chest of Xyon who was lying down, unintentionally.

"Aah!" exclaiming Hyerin.

They fell silent and held on to their respective positions, with flushed faces.

"Your heart, why is it beating so fast?" asked Hyerin who apparently accidentally listened to the organ from behind the young man's chest.

"That's .. because you're here" Xyon replied very honestly.

Hyerin immediately lifted her body, then sat back up straight while turning her face away from the man and said, "I've brought you food so you should eat first.”

He then took the small bag from the table, while Xyon tried to sit down. Hyerin then took out a lunchbox from there and opened it, and was immediately shocked as soon as she saw the contents.

“What's up, Hyerin?” xyon asked, then he looked at the lunchbox and let out a long sigh, then continued, "Too much. I'll spend half of it tomorrow morning.”

But suddenly Hyerin's stomach sounded tight, and it made her blush embarrassed until her face became red.

"Ah, apparently this food is for two people. I can't spend it alone either. Eat with me. There were two spoons in the lunch box. Maybe your employer did put it on purpose," Xyon said again with a small smile.

Because Hyerin was still so embarrassed that she could not say anything, the young man pushed the small table in front of her and placed the lunchbox on the table. Xyon then picked up one of the scoops that were there, then looked at Hyerin with a flushed face.

"Will you accompany me for ... dinner?" asked the young man politely, this time.

Hyerin then turned to her while answering quietly, "Uh, alright."

He then took another spoon. They had a very simple dinner together in the restroom. After a while, the black-haired girl suddenly noticed Xyon with a sad face, until the young man looked back at Hyerin with a flat face.

"What's up, Hyerin?" xyon asked after he finished swallowing his food.

"Actually who are you? You keep saying that you can't possibly die. You're not afraid of those creepy cuts either. Then the sword ...," Hyerin said slowly, but suddenly, Xyon cut off his words by saying, "I've told you. I am not a creature of this planet. I am an immortal.” creature

Hyerin chuckled after listening to it, then replied, "Are you making a joke so I can smile?"

This time Xyon stopped eating his food, then looked at Hyerin with a serious face and replied, "I really am an alien from another planet. I was a soldier, and came here for a special assignment."

Xyon then opened his right palm and a white cosmic sword suddenly appeared within his grasp.

"What do you mean ... This cosmic sword of mine?" tanyakanya.

Hyerin was surprised, her eyes immediately glared as soon as she saw the sharp object.

"Jeez, you …. You …!!" he exclaimed with a face that looked surprised as he pointed towards Xyon.

The cosmic sword then disappeared, and the young man looked back at Hyerin with a serious face.

"You've seen everything from yesterday, so I don't have to cover it up anymore. However, promise me to keep this a secret from anyone, because if other humans find out about my true self, then I will be completely killed this time, '" whispered Xyon.

"Then why are you showing it to me?! You …. You're not human!!" hyerin exclaimed while glaring.

Xyon immediately brought himself closer to Hyerin, then covered the girl's mouth with his right palm and said, "Clear your voice! This secret is only the two of us know. I won't die, because this wound will heal as soon as I return to my home planet."

Hyerin immediately looked at the young man with a face that still looked surprised and asked, "Are you an alien?"

"Maybe so, but I can also feel hunger, thirst, and other feelings like pain" Xyon replied softly.

Hyerin then moved Xyon's palm away from her face slowly.

"Why did you tell me who you are? Aren't you afraid I'll tell everyone about you?!" ask the girl while frowning her forehead.

"You'll never do it. Therefore, I trust you," Xyon replied, and he began to put food back in his mouth.

Hyerin let out a long sigh, then said, “You and I both seem to have a secret that no one else can know.”

The two of them went back into silence while continuing to eat dinner. As soon as they finished eating all the food, Hyerin then put the box and cutlery into the bag.

"I'll go back to my room. Rest" said Hyerin, then he stood up, about to walk out.

But as soon as he opened the door, Xyon suddenly said, "I'll be with you tomorrow, and tomorrow again, and tomorrow again, until I have to go back to my home planet."

Without looking back, Hyerin suddenly asked with a sad face, "Should you ... come back?"

"Because I'm a soldier, so I have to go back, of course," Xyon replied.

Hyerin immediately opened the door and exited the room, then closed the door again violently. Xyon who was innocent, did not seem to understand, that the answer had already made the girl's heart ache a little. Hyerin then went into her own room, then lay down on the bed after placing the small pouch next to a small table.

"If your place isn't here, why should I care?! Huh!" annoyed.

He closed his eyes many times and said, "Forget it, forget the man!"

But he seemed to continue to feel riled up, until in the end, he again said with a sad face, "Xyon, should you come back? Can't you just be here to keep me company?"
