"Ah, it's worth it. Alright then, Xyon, we'll be right back tomorrow the day after tomorrow, so be prepared to go home" Arnea replied with a smile on her face.
"Back home?!" hyerin murmured softly from inside the bathroom.
They immediately looked towards the voice. Klara then stopped the Healing Renovatio and lowered her hands.
“Are you with someone, Xyon?" arnea asked with a face full of suspicion while watching her surroundings.
"Your Majesty, you can hear the sound from the next room because this room is only separated by a thin wall," Xyon replied with a serious face.
"I thought you were going to spend the night with a mortal girl, Xyon. But that cold face of yours might scare them,” Klara said with a small smile.
The young man just lowered his head.
"Ah, Xyon is a soldier, Klara. He would probably prefer to fight a war rather than build a family. After all, what was in his mind was only fighting, wasn't it?” arnea said with a forced smile to his wife.
Xyon then looked back at the two, then asked, "Your Majesty, then why are you both here?”
“We just want to tell you about our return, that's all. But I am also curious what you are doing for these few days,” replied Arnea with a cynical smile.
"Well, we'll go back for a walk all the way to the big city next door. Enjoy these last two days, and do not say anything about your wounds to anyone" whispered Klara.
Xyon then bowed his body while saying, "Alright, Your Majesty.”
Arnea and Klara then walked out of the room and the Crown Princess closed the door tightly. After a while, the young man stepped into the bathroom.
He opened the door quickly with a deep sigh, looking at his wife who seemed to be frowning.
"Your Majesty?" hyerin asked with a face full of curiosity.
Xyon rolled his eyeballs once and replied, "You won't believe me, will you?"
Hyerin then came out of the bathroom and took her husband with her, taking him back to bed. They sat facing each other, but the young man did not look at his wife at all, and even turned his face away.
The black-haired girl unintentionally looked at Xyon's back from the side, and was startled as soon as she noticed that there was no tear from the knife incision as before.
"Ah, apparently you really didn't lie to me about yourself ...," Hyerin said with a disappointed face.
"Are you very disappointed to learn that I'm not a mortal like you?" xyon asked while still turning his face away.
"Are you a royal guard, Xyon?" hyerin asked her husband.
"I am the personal bodyguard of His Highness the Crown Prince, of the kingdom of Palladina," the young man replied firmly.
Hyerin let out a short sigh, then asked again, "Lantas are you going to become a soldier?"
"You're right. I'm sorry, maybe I'll leave you in a very long time. I want to take you with me, yet you are a mortal ...," Xyon replied with an annoyed face.
Hyerin then hugged him from the side and whispered, "I'll always be waiting for you, baby."
Hearing the words from his wife, Xyon immediately hugged him tightly while starting to shed tears. They did not seem to be going out of the room for the day, even until the afternoon changed, then changed again to night.
Both of them were not at all bothered by the sounds they heard from outside the room. They just lie down, exchanging stories about each other's lives, on the same bed.
"You're a royal guard, Xyon! There's no way the ladies will let an opportunity to approach you!" hyerin exclaimed while then chuckling.
Xyon then brought his face closer to Hyerin and whispered, "As long as I live, all I learn is how to swing a sword, not how to approach a woman. Only you would dare to approach a man like me."
He kissed his wife's lips and once again, they let this night pass with the happiness that seemed to come from the faces of the two, as an unofficial couple.
The next morning, Hyerin looked ready to go to work, wearing the same clothes as yesterday, namely a knee-length shirt that was brown. As Xyon was still fast asleep, she then opened the door, also walking out slowly so as not to wake her husband. He even closed the door back quickly.
"The lady will definitely scold me. Jesus," he murmured softly.
He ran to work at the same restaurant, as usual. After arriving there, he entered and walked quickly into the kitchen. The woman who owned the restaurant was waiting for him there, I don't know how long. Hyerin was shocked as soon as she saw the Madam standing in the middle of the kitchen with an annoyed face.
"Are you any better, Hyerin?" ask the restaurant owner.
"Mrs! I'm sorry, I really didn't feel well yesterday!" hyerin exclaimed while bowing his body.
The Lady then walked over to him, then noticed a white ring embedded in the ring finger of the girl's left hand, with a suspicious face. The restaurant owner turned to the window next to the kitchen door, and saw a young man with dark purple hair who was seen talking to his husband at one of the tables.
The husband of the restaurant owner suddenly walked into the kitchen, after speaking a few words and it seemed that the young man saw her from behind the kitchen window, then smiled at her. The Madam then returned the smile from a distance.
"Ah, apparently so. So, are you engaged to him, Hyerin?" asked the restaurant owner with a small smile on his face.
Hyerin immediately scrunched her forehead, then stood up straight again and looked at the Madam of the restaurant owner with a puzzled face, asking, "You mean, Madam?"
"The man in front, isn't he the man who saved you yesterday? Because the ring on your ring finger is engraved with his name, Xyon," replied the Madam.
The black-haired girl's face flushed, then she looked out the window and saw Xyon sitting on a chair with a dining table in front of her, in the corner of the restaurant.
"Uh, Mistress …. I.., I can explain it," whispered Hyerin with a face that began to look panicked.
The restaurant owner woman suddenly clasped her hands until she looked at the Madam with a surprised-looking face.
"He was like a good man, and the ring was his, wasn't it? Tell me, are you married secretly?" asked the restaurant owner while frowning his forehead.
