Meanwhile, inside the liquor store, Keira, who was tidying up the tables and chairs knowing that her aunt, Trea, was about to arrive, was suddenly startled by the sound of knocking on the door from the front.
He immediately stared at the door with glaring eyes while exclaiming, “Wait a moment!”
In a hurry, Keira walked towards the door and opened it. The smile on his face instantly appeared as soon as he saw who had just come to meet him. A woman with brown hair and black eyeballs, wearing a white short-sleeved shirt and black trousers, Trea, her new foster aunt.
“Keira!” trea exclaimed with a big smile to the little girl.
“Aunt Trea!” reply Keira.
He hugged Trea's knees tightly, as did Trea, who was holding his niece.
"Keira! Why are you here alone?" trea asked with a big smile.
"Auntie! Father and mother were at the chrysanthemum plantation, and they asked me to wait for your arrival here, alone .. But since Auntie has already come, what if we play first? I missed you, Auntie!" keira answered with a very happy face.
“Of course!” reply Trea.
He was about to enter the liquor store while carrying Keira, but, suddenly, a woman from a distance shouted with gasps, "Keira!"
Trea and Keira immediately turned to look at the woman, and with a gasp of breath, the woman then stopped running and stood beside Trea, he looked at the two of them with a frightened face.
"Keira! Your mom and dad! They ... they ..," said the woman, but suddenly she felt sorry for Keira as soon as she saw the little girl's face.
“What's up, Mistress?” trea asked curiously.
The woman continued to stare at Keira, so the little girl herself who later said, “Madam, you are the owner of a cake shop that is right in front of the chrysanthemum plantation owned by my adoptive parents. I always watch you when I'm there.”
The woman began to shed tears. He then let out a short sigh and ventured to himself to tell the truth.
“I found the bodies of Eleina and Dairu already lying on the ground, inside the estate, and they ... they .. seem to have died,” said the woman with trembling lips.
As if struck by lightning, Trea and Keira immediately glared sharply at the woman. Their bodies even began to tremble after listening to the bad news.
“Cannot be. Father and mother .. they were fine when they left,” Keira said with a face that looked panicked.
“I don't want to speculate, however, I feel like they've both been killed by someone, judging by his stab wound.
Suddenly, Trea ran quickly towards the chrysanthemum plantation owned by Eleina and Dairu, holding Keira, with a face that looked very panicked.
When they arrived there, apparently the chrysanthemum plantation was crowded by people who gathered with curiosity. Looking at Trea and Keira who had just arrived, the people who had been swarming around, then gave way to the two.
Trea walked quickly, entering the plantation with Keira still in her trunk. He stopped walking as soon as he saw that Eleina and Dairu's bloodied bodies had been stretched stiff on the ground.
Her tears immediately fell down her face. Both his hands were shaking. His body immediately felt limp until he then knelt before the bodies of the two, and released Keira and her sling.
The little girl suddenly fell silent. Both of his eyes glared sharply at the body of his adoptive parents. He started crying, and Trea immediately hugged him, so that he would not scream and remain calm.
"Dad ... Mother!!!" she screamed, followed by a great cry.
“Keira, Keira, relax, son. Calm, calm,” whispered Trea who was also crying along with the little girl while hugging her tightly.
While still trying to calm Keira down, Trea then turned her head back and asked, "What's really going on here?”
One woman replied, "We don't know what happened because it was getting dark and the curfew was in place. People are already inside their homes, however, we suspect that there are bandits starting to act again around here, it's been a long time since they've all been kicked out of this small town!”
"But my brother did not bring any valuables at all, so what did the bandits steal? Look, he just brought a basket!" exciting Trea.
The people who were around there, started to get boisterous again. They also questioned the same thing that Trea had just said.
"Ah, it is likely that due to not being able to find any valuable items, then the bandits killed them, probably wanting to remove the traces," one man replied.
The atmosphere began to tense up again. Everyone was wondering what had happened to Eleinadan Dairu, however, instead they all started speculating a no-no, and this made Keira cry even more loudly. Trea, now uncomfortable with the thoughts of all those people, finally decided something.
Trea then turned his head again towards Eleinadan Dairu's body while looking at the bodies of the two with a sad face.
"I'll take care of their funeral today as well" he said, still trying to calm Keira down.
The next morning, several people came to a cemetery on the outskirts of the small town. Eleina and Dairu's bodies were each placed in a coffin, and ready to be buried there. Trea and Keira who wear white clothes, since from last night have indeed followed this whole tiring process.
Trea even had to calm the six-year-old girl many times, because she always cried loudly. One day was spent just for the funeral procession of the late Eleina and Dairu. It was exhausting indeed, for the two of them, especially Keira who barely even wanted to eat even though she had been persuaded many times.
When the whole funeral procession was over and people had started leaving the cemetery area, Trea then invited Keira to return to the liquor store owned by the late couple to rest.
After the two of them had cleaned themselves and changed their clothes as before, Trea then cooked some kind of food to just stuff their stomachs. He then invites Keira to eat with him in the dining room, while continuing to persuade the little girl that she wants to eat even a little, however, Keira still continues to cry. Finally Trea hugged the little girl and stroked her head gently.
He then helped Keira to sit on a chair, then he pulled up another chair and sat on it, next to the little girl.
