He then helped Keira to sit on a chair, then he pulled up another chair and sat on it, next to the little girl.
"Keira, what if you live with me in a big city?" tanyakanya.
Keira who was still crying softly after hearing the question then looked at Trea with teary eyes then asked, "Aunty is busy working? Then what if I trouble Auntie?”
"Yeah, Keira. You're six years old, and you should be in school, but in this small town there's no formal school at all. Such schools exist only in large cities. Well, what if you go to school in the morning, then in the afternoon when I get home from work, I'll pick you up?" trea asked with a smile on her face.
Keira was silent for a while. As the little girl looked still doubtful, Trea then stroked her hair again slowly.
"Keira, both of your adoptive parents have saved up a lot for your life, so, money is not a problem. I'm also going to sell this liquor store because there's no way anyone can pass it on, while you're still very small. Come with Auntie, will you, Keira? After all, you have to smile and move on" Trea said, trying to persuade Keira.
The little girl was silent again for a while while staring in all directions. Trea knew that the boy was recalling memories with his adoptive parents, and that Keira was constantly there, he might not be able to continue his life because of the lingering sadness.
“Keira, you have to accompany me now, huh? Me and you, we both only have ourselves,” Trea said.
Keira finally agreed, she nodded. Trea was delighted the offer was finally accepted by Keira. They then ate first, then cleaned up the liquor store. Trea also helps Keira to bring some of her personal belongings, as the little girl will live with him.
He will also soon sell the liquor store and will immediately bring Keira to live with him, in his own home in the big city. After finishing cleaning Keira's belongings, Trea then asked the little girl to rest first because she was about to go to the mayor's office which was not far from the liquor store.
When Keira fell asleep, Trea walked out with a document, and locked the door in a hurry, then when he arrived at the mayor's office and met with a female employee who worked there, he immediately explained his desire to sell the liquor store owned by his late brother.
The female employee was a little surprised by Trea's plan.
“That liquor store is very crowded and is the only one in this small town. Can't you continue?” ask the woman.
Trea shook her head once and smiled, then replied, “Can't. I still have work to do in the big city, and my two brothers left a daughter with me.”
The female clerk immediately nodded, then said, “I have actually said to Eleina many times that I want to buy their own liquor store because I am interested in the crowd, however, Dairu still refused. It's a good opportunity, and I'm very interested in buying it.”
Trea was very happy because he immediately got a buyer. After discussing for a while, the woman finally agreed with the offer delivered by Trea. He even agreed to give Trea a direct sum of money by taking it first in his money locker, then handing it to Keira's aunt.
“Alright, then, thank you for this business. I am very happy to finally be able to buy the liquor store, with the money I have collected for so long,” said the woman.
“Thank you very much, Madam. Have a nice day. I'll be out of that liquor store soon today too,” Trea replied.
Not without real reason. Trea had to immediately return to her home in the big city, as she only got permission to take a four-day vacation. After completing a transaction to buy and sell drinks with the employee, he then walked out of the mayor's office and ran to pick up Keira.
He immediately woke up the little girl and invited Keira to leave the small town to live with him in the big city.
They then left the liquor store with some belongings of Keira, and on foot to finally find a bus stop that was the only one on the edge of the small town. After waiting for a while, a bus came and stopped in front of the stop, then they got into it and sat next to each other.
“Are you ready, Keira?” ask Trea.
“Hmm, Auntie!” reply Keira, even though her face still looks sad.
They end up leaving a small town full of memories and beautiful forests, heading to a big city whose lifestyle is much different from that of a small town. Several times they had to change buses to arrive at their destination.
After traveling for a full day, they finally arrived in front of the bus stop nearest to Trea's house located in the big city. Once out of the last bus, Trea then took Keira while walking and carried the belongings of the little girl, heading to her house. He lives alone and is very happy when Keira wants to stay with him.
They finally arrived in front of a house that was not too spacious, but had two levels. Keira immediately stopped her steps and was amazed as soon as she saw the house.
“Aibi, this is a great two-story house!” she cried with a small smile on her face.
“My job as a warehouse head of a food factory, has given me enough salary so that I can save and buy this house. Doesn't it look beautiful from the outside?” ask Trea.
Keira nodded. They then entered the house and immediately cleaned up the luggage. Keira was going to sleep on the second floor with Trea, and the little girl was suddenly excited after seeing her foster aunt's room, which caught her attention.
After finishing the bath, they then descended towards the first floor. Trea then cooks dinner for the two of them, while Keira sits on a chair while watching her adoptive aunt cooking.
This is the first night for Keira to stay at her adoptive aunt's house and live with her. Trea tried to talk a lot about anything to Keira, just so that the little girl would no longer remember the deaths of Eleina and Dairu.
