The Curse of the Crossbreed

"What's wrong, Senior General Xyon? Just tell me directly, what happened? Stand up first, so I can hear you more clearly!" anexta said hurriedly as if impatient with what Xyon would report.

Xyon let out a long sigh back, then he stood up straight.

While still bowing his head, he said, "Your Majesty, forgive me for being late to return. I've been following them according to your orders, but there's been so much going on there that I didn't come back here right away."

Anexta seemed to know straight away what Xyon was going to report. His face suddenly changed from serious to sad. He took a deep breath, and began to feel his head turn dizzy.

He held his head with his right hand for a while, then again lowered his right hand and said, "Senior General Xyon, just tell me everything, what you've seen there, what you've seen, and I'm ready to listen to it.”

"The Queen's Majesty, I'm from a distance, seeing Ryena has just successfully delivered a healthy baby boy ...," said Xyon who suddenly felt her lips suddenly locked.

Anexta let out a short sigh, then asked, "Alright, that's good news. What about Ryena?"

Xyon suddenly went back to his knees and touched the ground with both hands while bowing his head somewhat low. Anexta was immediately shocked by the attitude of his Senior General. His two eyes started to turn red, and tears suddenly washed over his face.

“Senior General Xyon, continue,” Anexta said slowly.

Then without further ado, Xyon continued his report, "Her Majesty the Queen! King Flerix has taken away the baby boy .. They have left this blue planet, with his spaceship! While Ryena .. Ryena .. I went inside their tent and saw blood there, but I couldn't find Ryena at all in it!"

Anexta let out a long breath. He was no longer surprised to hear the report from Xyon just now, but he just fell silent.

“I had expected that Ryena would definitely die at the hands of Flerix, however, what I did not expect was that she would be killed shortly after she gave birth to a child for the damn man. We can no longer play with him. I must immediately take the boy from Flerix as soon as possible and make him a Palladina!” anexta cried after a while.

“Your Highness, however, how? No one can get into the atmosphere of Planet Silverian now,” Xyon replied.

“Stand,” says Anexta again.

Xyon slowly stood up straight in front of Anexta. The queen of Palladina then walked up to a chair located on her left side, then sat on it with a long sigh.

“Call the other four generals to come to me, now,” order Anexta firmly.

“Good, Your Highness,” Reply Xyon.

He ran out of the tent and began to search for Weim, Arex, Sey, and Nordian. It didn't take long, Xyon found the four of them were talking casually with each other at the back of their tent.

The presence of Xyon certainly made the four of them surprised. They even looked at the Senior General with a puzzled face.

“What's up, Xyon?” ask Arex.

“Your Majesty call you to face him right now,” replied Xyon.

“Your Majesty,” said the five of them together, then stood up straight and looked at Anexta with a serious face.

“Ryena is dead. It's time to take the child he just born from Flerix and make it as a Palladina,” Anexta said firmly.

Arex, Weim, Sey, and Nordian were immediately shocked upon hearing the news. They suddenly knelt before Anexta with faces that looked anxious.

“Your Majesty!” shout them at the same time.

“I saw all those events,” said Xyon, and the remark instantly made the four of them turn to him.

“King Flerix really asked for a war. He bravely challenged us, the Palladinas, by killing Ryena and bringing the child with him! I will take the boy back and raise him to be a Palladina! I will not allow Flerix to use the child Ryena has just born, as a killing machine to achieve his goal of becoming the ruler of the Metal Galaxy! That's outrageous!!" exciting Anexta.

Then he stood up, and the four generals who had been kneeling also stood up again, thinking that maybe Anexta would walk out of the tent.

However, Xyon suddenly looked at the two eyes of the queen with a serious look.

“Your Highness, what do you mean by killing machine?” ask the Senior General.

Anexta scrunched her forehead.

“That boy, I could feel the strong dark energy, even before he was born. I could feel my light energy being sucked into the darkness, as soon as I approached Ryena at that time,” she replied softly.

Xyon then let out a short sigh, then suddenly, he remembered something. He then began to look at the queen with a serious face.

Feeling confused, Anexta asked, "What else is it, Senior General Xyon?"

"The Queen's Majesty, Ryena had a speech made before King Flerix killed her. I didn't hear it so clearly, however, he said that one day there would be a Crossbreed born in this world, and would make calculations with the Silverians for their actions," xyon said softly, as if hesitating with his own words.

Anexta suddenly chuckled after listening to Xyon's words just now, including Nordian and Arex who suddenly smiled at Xyon.

"Hey, there's no way that's gonna happen. Crossbreed is just an imaginary story we hear in the Metal Galaxy" Nordian said.

"It seems like you really have misheard it, Xyon," said Arex with a small smile on his face.

Anexta then looked at Xyon with a serious face and said, "Senior General Xyon, it is true, that there is a Crossbreed term that has long been heard within the Metal Galaxy, however, until now, it was just a theory. Crossbreed is a defect, and the universe does not accept their existence. A mortal being that possessed the immortal power of antimatter energy, as opposed to the energy of matter throughout this universe. So, there is no way there will be such a creature, Senior General Xyon."

“However, if there really is a creature named Crossbreed that lives in the Metal Galaxy, wouldn't we be able to use it against the Silverians, Your Majesty?” ask Xyon.

Anexta immediately stared intently at Xyon, then replied, “Crossbreed is indeed able to control all the energy within this universe, unlike us who can only control one or two energies, however, Crossbreed is mortal. And because Crossbreed is a cursed creature because their antimatter energy is too strong but it is the weakest. So, I don't think there will be such a creature in this world, Senior General Xyon.”
