Xyon let out a long sigh, then with a stern face this time, he ventured to say truthfully, "I, Xyon, am married to a mortal girl, and I gave the ring to her, and I gave it to her, as proof that he and I have become husband and wife! I love her so much, even though it's only been a few days since I met her, but my heart is convinced that she is the right girl to be my partner for life!!"
Derix slapped Xyon in the face so hard that he finished hearing the statement from his son that the young man almost fell down. Xyon immediately looked at Derix with a sharp look of eyes after.
The door suddenly opened, and Wyona went inside while glaring and covering her mouth with her right hand. Derix and Xyon immediately turned to look at him in surprise.
"Darling?!" said the husband while widening his eyelids as soon as he saw his wife.
Wyona then closed the door tightly, shedding tears, then he looked at Xyon with teary eyes and swallowed his own saliva.
"You ... have gone too far, Son .." he whispered quietly as he placed the lunchbox he was carrying on the floor.
He knelt down and held Xyon's face with both hands. The young man only fell silent while shedding tears even though his expression was still flat, and joined his knees before his mother.
"Darling! You shouldn't be here!" exclaimed Derix with a slightly panicked face.
"Xyon," said Wyona, wrinkling his forehead, “the universe will not allow an imbalance of cosmic energy. Everything in this world is in pairs with each other. However, Xyon, you should know, that in fact, there are several pairs that are precisely the opposite, such as matter and antimatter.”
"Mother, what does that mean?" xyon asked with a confused face.
"An immortal cannot be in love with a mortal. The negative energy of the relationship will give birth to a Crossbreed, and the universe strongly condemns the negative energy possessed by the child" Wyona replies while stroking the boy's face.
Xyon shook his head once, then lowered his head and said, "I. I'm sorry, Mother.”
"A Crossbreed is a creature born from the relationship between immortals and mortal. Only they are able to control all the cosmic energies present within this universe, and only they, too, have negatively charged antimatter energy. The problem is, Xyon, even though they are very strong beyond anything, still they are mortal beings and the universe does not like it" said Derix with a face that still looks annoyed while turning his face away from Xyon.
"Xyon, if that mortal female gave birth to a Crossbreed, that child would probably be the strongest within this universe, however, her negative energy would be against the universe and … this world will curse her, son," whispered Wyona softly.
"Well, you'll kill the mortal man immediately, Xyon. For the balance of this world" said Derix, clenching his right hand.
"Never!" exclaimed Xyon who suddenly stood up straight until Wyona came to his feet in surprise.
She immediately exclaimed, "If she gives birth to a child for me, then that child is my son! Whether he is a Crossbreed or not, the boy is still my son! Shouldn't the attitude of a father be like that, loving his son?!"
"I .. will not divorce him. I won't kill them either! If indeed he is a Crossbreed, he is my son with that woman, lovingly!" exclaimed Xyon in a high tone while staring at Derix.
Derix turned to Xyon and pointed at the boy with the index finger of his right hand.
His face reddened and both eyes glared sharply, then he retorted, "You! How insolent! You'll see what the universe will do to the mortal man and the boy, if indeed he actually gave birth to a Crossbreed! Xyom!! You ..., you'll never get out of this palace again! I won't!"
"You people! You can only think of yourself!" exclaimed Xyon, then he ran out of his father's private study, with an annoyed face but also tears that began to flow down his face.
"Xyon!" wyona responded while trying to chase after her son, but the Senior General immediately grabbed her right hand and pulled her back inside.
Derix then hugged his wife and whispered, "I won't allow Xyon to return to Planet Earth, as long as I'm alive. He couldn't bring the Crossbreed boy here, if it was true that mortal man had given him a child. I'll make him forget all about them."
"Darling, please, forgive Xyon just this once. He was still innocent and did not understand anything about mortal feelings, and that human. It's all my fault in educating him. I'm sorry," Wyona said in tears.
They then hugged each other tightly, and Wyona could not hold back her tears at all. Meanwhile, in the backyard of the palace, Xyon was seen sitting on the green grass that looked very soothing to the eyes, alone.
However, he just stared at the grass with a sad face, as if his heart was being hurt.
"Crossbreed? If Hyerin did give birth to a child for me, I would be very happy. But .. I'm sorry. Dad really didn't give me a chance to see you. Wait, Hyerin, even if you might grow old, I'll still love you" he murmured softly.
He then let out a long sigh and again said, “I will follow Dad's wishes. It is possible ... His Royal Highness the Crown Prince will take me back to Planet Earth someday.”
Since then, Xyon has been in the classroom every morning located inside the building to the right of the palace, with several children from high officials, to attend lessons at the Royal School. During the day, he would do his own training with his cosmic sword, in the backyard of the palace.
Sometimes, Arnea would accompany him and they would practice attacking together. Derix and Wyona were very happy with Xyon's decision, however, they had no idea that the young man was actually waiting for an opportunity.
Seven days later, in the front courtyard of the palace, the coronation ceremony for the soldiers who had already passed the royal examination finally began. They will be crowned generals, and new tasks will await in the future. The retired senior generals who were judges were seen present and lined up sideways in the middle of the courtyard.
All the royal examinees, including Xyon, were seen lining up. Derix appeared to be standing before them, while Treya and Arnea were behind the Senior General at a distance that was not too close.
