Prophet Ya'qub was the son of Prophet Ishaq ibn Ibrahim while his mother was the nephew of Prophet Ibrahim, named Rifqah bint A'zar. He was the twin brother of Ishaq's second son Ishu.

Between these two twin brothers there is no harmony and peace and there is no love for one another even Ishu harbors envy and envy towards Ya'qub his twin brother who is indeed spoiled he was loved and loved by his mother. Their estranged and unfamiliar relationship grew worse and strained after Ishu discovered that it was Ya'qub who was proposed by her mother when her father asked her children to be blessed and prayed for, while he was not told and therefore did not get the opportunity as Ya'qub obtained the blessing and prayer of his father, the Prophet Ishaq.

Seeing the attitude of his brother who was stiff and cold and heard the words of his insinuation arising from a sense of envy and irihati, even he was always threatened so Ya'qub came to his father complaining about the hostility. He said: "O my father! Please give me a thought, how should I face my brother Ishu who hates me holding a spite for me and always insinuating me with words that hurt my heart, so as to maintain our brotherhood relationship two tenuous and tense no love each other love each other affection-loving each other. He was angry that my father blessed me and prayed for me to have the progeny of righteousness, easy sustenance and a prosperous life and luxury . He boasted of his two wives from the tribe of Kan'aan and threatened that his sons from both wives would be fierce rivals to my children in search and livelihood and various threats another who squeezes and stifles my heart. Please give me a thought on how I can overcome this problem and overcome it in a family way.

Said the father, Prophet Ishaq who was already upset to see the relationship between his two sons which is getting tapered more and more:" O my son, my son, because of my advanced age I can't mediate you two my gray hair has covered my entire head, my body has bent my face is already wrinkled and I am on the verge of separation from you and leaving this mortal world. I fear that when I close my age, the disturbance of your brother Ishu to you will increase and he will openly antagonize you, trying to find your accident and your destruction. He in his hostile endeavors will have the support and help of his influential and authoritative brothers-in-law in this country. So the best way for you, according to my mind, you must leave this country and emigrate to Fadan A'raam in the country of Iraq, where your brother's father was your brother Laban bin Batu;il. You can expect to be married to one of his daughters and thus to be strong your social position is respected and respected by people because of the prominent position of your in-laws in the eyes of society. Go there with the accompaniment of my prayers, may Allah bless your journey, provide cheap and easy sustenance and a quiet and tranquil life.

The father's advice and advice has a place in the child's heart. Ya'qub saw in his father's advice the desired way out of the crisis of brotherly relations between him and Ishu, moreover, by following the advice he will be able to meet with his uncle and family members from his mother's side .He immediately packed the necessary things on the way and with a moved heart and tears in his eyes he asked his father and mother when he was leaving home.

Prophet Ya'qub Arrives in Iraq

Through the wide sand and Sahara roads with its scorching sun and the sun-burning sun of {panas} which burns the skin, Ya'qub continues the journey alone, he said, headed to Fadan A'ram where his uncle Laban lived. On that long journey, he occasionally stopped resting when feeling tired and lethargic .And in one of his stops he stopped because he was tired of falling asleep under the shade of a large rock .In his deep sleep, he had a dream that he was endowed with a vast sustenance, a peaceful safe life, a family and pious children and a large and prosperous kingdom. Wake Ya'qub from his sleep, he rubbed his eyes to the right and to the left and realized that what he saw was only a dream but he believed that his dream would come true later in accordance with his father's prayer still buzzing in his ears. With that dream ,he felt all the fatigue caused by his journey was lost as if he had gained new heights and increased his enthusiasm to arrive as soon as possible at the destination and meet his relatives on his mother's side.

The Ya'qub arrived at the end of the day at the gate of the city of Fadan A'ram after days and nights of a dull journey nothing is seen but the sky above and the sand below. How relieved his heart was when he began to see domestic animals roaming over the fields ,the birds fly in the clear air and the residents of the city go back and forth to make a living and the necessities of life respectively.

Arriving at one of the crossroads he stopped for a moment to ask one of the residents where the location of his mother's brother Laban barada. Laban was a wealthy man who was the owner of the largest farm in the city, not difficult for someone to find the address. The man she asked immediately pointed to a beautiful girl who was herding goats and said to Ya'qub: "It so happens that she is Laban's daughter who will be able to take you to her father's house, his name is Rahil.

embrace with the message of the uncle with the nephew, with the nephew, signify each other's joy with that unexpected encounter and flow on the cheeks of each of the tears shed by the sense of wonder and joy. So it was appointed by Laban the son of Batu'il a special place and room for his nephew Ya'qub which was no different from the places of his own sons where he could live as he pleased as in his own house.

After some time staying at Laban's house, his brother's father as a member of the family was delivered by Ya'qub to his father's brother Ishaq's order of his father, so that they both be advised by marrying him to one of his daughters. The order was received by Laban and agreed to marry Laban to one of his daughters, provided that as a marriage, he had to provide his labor in the company of his future father-in-law for seven years. Ya'qub agreed to the conditions put forward by his uncle and worked as a manager of the largest ranch company in the city of Fadan A'raam.

After seven years of being surpassed by Ya'qub as an employee in Laban's ranching company, he reclaimed the promise of his uncle who would take him as his son-in-law. Laban offers to Ya'qub to edit his daughter Laiya as his wife, but his nephew wants Rahil's younger brother from Laiya, because more beautiful and more ayu than Laiya offered it.The desire of which he expressed frankly by Ya'qub to his uncle, his uncle, who also from his uncle understood and understood the contents of his nephew's heart. However, the customs that prevailed at that time did not allow a sister to step over her brother married first. Therefore as a middle way did not disappoint Ya'qub and did not violate the rules that apply, as well as breaking the rules, Laban suggested that his nephew Ya'qub accept Laiya as the first wife and Rahil as the second wife to be edited later after she spent seven years working in his ranch.

Ya'qub who was very respectful to his uncle and felt indebted to him who had received him at home as a family, served him well and undifferentiated as if his own biological son, he said, could do nothing but accept his uncle's proposal . The marriage was carried out and the contract for a second seven-year term was signed.

As soon as the second seven years ended, Ya'qub married Rahil, the girl he loved and remembered from his first meeting when he entered the city of Fadan A'raam. Thus the Prophet Ya'qub gave two sisters, brother and sister, which according to the Shari'a and the rules that apply at the time are not forbidden but by Muhammad's shariah s.a.w.

Laban gave gifts to his two daughters, namely the wives of Ya'qub, a servant of danger, to be their household servants. And from his two wives and his two legal servants Ya'qub had twelve children, among them Joseph and Benjamin from Rahil's mother and the other from Laiya.
