According to another version his real name is Waidiah bin Adrin. He was a prophet to the people of Syria and beyond. He built the city of Kifl in Iraq.

There are two places believed to be the tomb of Zulkifli. First in Kifl, Iraq near Najaf and Al-Hillah and second in Nawa, Syria.
