The Messengers of God

The Messengers of God
the story of prophet luth

The Story of Prophet Luth. Nabi Luth as is the brother of Abraham. The father of Prophet Luth as named hasan bin tareh is the brother of Prophet Ibrahim. His name is mentioned 27 times in the Koran, the prophet Luth still has a brotherly bond with the prophet Abraham. He is the nephew of the Prophet Abraham. While preaching to his people in the city of Sodom, the prophet Luth met with much opposition.

The people in the city of Sodom are a low-moral society and damaged its morals.  The people of Sodom have no religious or civilized human values. That is why the prophet Luth was sent by Allah SWT to straighten his behavior and morality.

At that time, the people of Sodom every day do things that are contrary to the commandments of Allah SWT. Prophetic Prophets Luth To The Sodom Society of Sodom is a society that is low in moral and morally damaged. The people of Sodom have no religious or civilized human values.

Magical and backwardness in their lives. Theft and confiscation of property are the events of the days in which the strong become the weak moderate power falls victim to oppression and arbitrary treatment.

The most prominent feature of their lives is the act of same-sex liking among his men and among his women. These two types of sloth are so rampant in society that it is a culture for the Sodomites. A newcomer who enters Sodom will not survive being disturbed by them.

If he brings valuable things, he will be taken away, if he fights or refuses to give them up, his life will not be saved.  However, if the immigrant is a handsome man with a beautiful face, he will become a wrestler among them and will become a victim of his male vile deeds and vice versa if the immigrant is a young women then he became a victim for his woman as well.

The conduct of the people of Sodom is enshrined in the Qur'an: "Why do you come to the kind of men among men, and you leave the wives that your Lord has made for you, even you are the ones who transcend borders". (QS. Ash-Shu`: 165-166). Many times the prophet Luth called upon them to abandon their deviant culture. But because it had already destroyed the morale of the people there they did not want to hear the words of the prophet Luth.

Only a small number of people follow the teachings of the prophet Luth. Thus the prophet Luth carried out his preaching according to the duties of his treatise. He never ceases to use every opportunity and in every meeting with his people in groups or individuals invites them to believe and believe in Allah and worship Him.

He invited his people to do good deeds and to leave behind acts of disobedience and silence. But the moral collapse and the corruption of morals have become ingrained in their social enterprise and the influence of lust and satanic persuasion has been so strong and mastered their actions. The preaching and solicitation of the Prophet Luth carried out with patience and perseverance has no place in their hearts and minds and passes away, entering the right ear out the left ear.

Their ears have become deaf to the teachings of the Prophet Lut, and their hearts and minds have become tightly clogged with the teachings of Satan and the devil. Until one day, his people were annoyed with the prophet Lut who always preached and reminded them. They then asked the prophet Luth to stop his preaching and expel him and his family and his followers to leave the city of Sodom. Prophet Luth Attended by the Angel, Prophet Luth felt that preaching to those who had collapsed akhlaq and his morals was a futile act.

So he asked Allah SWT for the punishment of his people. The supplication of the Prophet Luth and his prayer are permitted and granted by Allah. He sent three angels disguised as ordinary men.

They were angels who met Abraham with the glad tidings of the birth of the Prophet Ishaq, and told them that they were messengers of Allah with the duty of bringing down the torment to the Luthites, city of Sadum (Sodom). In the Qur'an the letter of Adh-Dhariyat Allah SWT says: "Ibrahim asked: "What is your business, you messengers?" They said: "We have been sent to the sinners (the Luthites), that we may lay stones on the ground, marked with your Lord to destroy the transgressors". (QS. Adh-Dhariyat verses 31-34). The angels reached Sodom disguised as handsome young men and muscular, well-built and well-willed bodies.  On the way they were about to enter the city, they were at odds with a beautiful girl and ayu was taking from a well.

The young man (angel) asked the girl in case they were accepted into the house as guests.  The girl did not dare to make a decision before she accused her family first. So the young men came home quickly to tell his father (Luth). Hearing the news of his daughter, Nabi Luth became confused, what answer he had to give to the newcomers who wanted to visit his house for some time.

But receiving a handsome and handsome guest will invite the risk of interference to him and to the guests of his people who are crazy to have same-sex relations with young people who have a good body and level beautiful face.  If this happens, he as the host must be responsible for the safety of his guests. Yet he felt that he would be powerless to face his cruel and thirsty people.

The prophet Luth decided to accept the young men as guests in his house. The Prophet Luth only resigned himself to Allah and took refuge in case any obstacles would come.  Then he went himself to pick up the guests who were waiting at the edge of the city and invited them together to the house. At that time, the city of Sodom was already covered in darkness and the humans were already soundly sleeping in their respective homes.

Hear their cry, Prophet Luth did not open the door for them and called out that they should return to their homes and not wait for a guest from afar who should be honored and glorified. They were advised to abandon their vile habitual deeds.

Their actions are contrary to the nature of man and nature in which God has created man in pairs between man and woman to maintain the continuity of human development as the noblest creature on earth.  The prophet Luth cried out that they might return to their wives and forsake their indecent acts of repentance before they were subjected to the torment and torment of Allah.

The cries and exhortations of the Prophet Luth were ignored and cared for, and they even insisted on breaking down the door of his house by force and violence if the door was not opened willingly.

Feeling himself powerless to resist the flow of men of his people who would impose his will by force said the Prophet Luth frankly to his guests: "Verily I have no power to hold those men in.

I have neither weapons nor physical strength that can resist their violence, nor do I have family or relatives with whom I can ask for help, so I feel very disappointed, that as the host I cannot ignore the disturbance to the guest in my own house."  Hearing the complaints of the Prophet Luth, the young people told him the truth, they are angels disguised as men sent by God to bring down the torment and torment of their people because of all the cruel and filthy sloth and mischief.

The messengers (angels) said: "O Luth, we are the messengers of your Lord, and they will not be able to disturb you at all." (QS. Hud: 81). The angels told the Prophet Luth to open the door of his house as wide as possible so that it could give the men who were thirsty to enter.

But unfortunately when the door was opened and the invaders set foot to enter, suddenly their eyes darkened and could not see anything.

The angels blinded their eyes. Then, rubbed and rubbed their eyes, they turned out to be blind. "And they persuaded him (to give) his guest (to them), and we blinded them, and felt My punishment and My threats. And verily, tomorrow they shall be afflicted with an everlasting torment." (QS. al-Qamar: 37-38). The Descendence of Allah's Punishment to the Sodom The guests or angels cried out and asked the Prophet Luth to leave the village with his beloved family, for the punishment of Allah has come the time to be brought.  Prophet Luth and his family were given a message by an angel on the way out of Sodom not looking back. "Go with your family and followers at the end of the night and let no one of you be left behind, except your wife, she will be afflicted with the punishment that befalls them, for when the punishment falls upon them is at dawn; is not the dawn near?" (QS. Hud: 81). Nabi Luth left his house after midnight, with his family consisting of a wife and two daughters walking quickly out of the city, he did not look to the right or to the left according to the instructions of the angels who were his guests.

But the wife who was the enemy in the blanket for the Prophet Luth could not leave her people. She was behind the company of the Prophet Luth walking slowly not as fast as her husband's steps and was unceasingly looking back because she wanted to know what was to befall her people, as if to doubt the truth of the threat of the angels he had heard himself.

And come at dawn. Then came the punishment of Allah SWT. "When Our punishment came, We made the land of the Luthites which was above and below (We turned it back), and We rained them with stones from the burning ground, the sign of your Lord, and the torment is not far from the unjust.

" (QC. Hud: 82-83). When dawn breaks, begin to tremble with the earth beneath the feet of the people of sodom, as well as the wife of the hypocritical Prophet Luth.

The tremor was greater and stronger than the earthquake and was also accompanied by strong winds and hail of rocks that burned the city of sodom and all its inhabitants beyond that limit.

"...and (We have also sent) Luth (to his people). (Remember) when he said to them: "Why do you do the faahisya (degrading), which no one (in this world) has done before you?" Verily you come to men to give up your lusts (to them), not to women, but you are a people who transcend borders. His people answer no other than to say: "Pure them (Luth and his followers) from your city; they are those who pretend to purify themselves. Then We saved him and his followers (who believed) except his wife (wife of the Prophet Luth); he was among those left behind (destroyed), and We sent down to them rain (stones); then see how the end of the sinners will be.

" (QC. Al-A’raaf verses 80-84). That is the punishment that should be inflicted upon the perverts, who were warned by the all-knowing Prophet of Allah, yet they would not listen.  May we and our society be protected from disobedience, so that no punishment is so painful as in the story of Prophet Luth as above. Aamiins.
