The Story of Aaron and Samiri
One day, after the Prophet Moses and the Prophet Aaron and his entourage made it out of Egypt, the Prophet Aaron and the Prophet Moses As continued their journey to the country. in the middle of the journey they had to pass through a hill called Mount Sinai. On the hill Moses received a revelation from God in the Torah. It is mentioned in the Qur’an QS Al-A’raf: 142.

Until the time came when Moses returned to the location of his people on Mount Sinai. Moses was furious when he saw the behavior of his people who returned to worship idols. In addition to being angry with his people, he was also angry with the Prophet Aaron because he was considered unable to maintain the trust he gave while he was away.
Disillusioned and angry with Aaron, Moses held his head and beard and said: 'Moses:
Hearing this, the Prophet Aaron replied:
“Thou art the son of my mother. Don't take my beard or my hair. I fear that you will say, You have divided the Children of Israel and no longer heed what I say’’ (QS Thaaha: 94).
Then Aaron explained what had happened while leaving Moses. He warned the Children of Israel. However, they remained defiant and ignored even nearly killing the Prophet Aaron As. After that, he also explained that what triggered all this was the influence of Samiri. After the Prophet Aaron's conviction, the misunderstanding between Moses and Aaron ended.
Furthermore, Moses threw out all the statues until there was none left.
After this incident, Allah told Moses that Aaron was trying to stop them. What he did did did not adjust the results. Finally, Moses was calm because his brother did not commit shirk against Allah.
And in the end, Moses realized that Aaron had done his duty as well as possible. So Moses asked Allah for forgiveness for all the wrongs he and his brother had done. While Samiri who had invited his people to deviate finally alienated and no longer allowed to associate with his people.

After being devoured by the earth, then came out a great fire that was sent by God at that time, The fire spread out all who were there, including the 250 Israelites who also rebelled against Moses and the Prophet Aaron As, Na’ubillah.
The next day, all the children of Israel were astonished and amazed by Moses and Aaron. After that, a revelation came from Allah to Moses and Aaron to the midst of the people. And in the end they made peace to all the people.
The Story of the Prophet Aaron
The Prophet Aaron and the Prophet Musa As were not allowed to enter the land area Kan’an. because of the mistakes he had done in the Meriba spring area where he was in the city of Kadesh. He left Kadesh to go to a certain area. Until, they arrived at one of the mountains known as Mount Hor in the border area of Edom.

After Moses dressed Aaron to his son, Aaron was picked up by the Angel of Death on Mount Hor. Then, the news of the passing of the Prophet Aaron was heard by all the people. The Israelites cried because they lost their role models, even up to 30 days after their death.
The prophet Aaron died just after 40 years of the Israelites were out of Egypt. And based on Islamic belief, the tomb of the Prophet Harun As is located in the area of Mount Aaron. This place is very close to Petra which is located in Jordan.
