Chap 10's

This time, not only Shaun but Samuel and Melanie also came along.

"What are you doing here?" Aaron was furious to see the three of them, but he did not expect them to be so polite.

"Uncle Aaron, Aunt Caitlyn, where's Zoey?" They carry all kinds of gift boxes in their hands, which makes Aaron and Caitlyn even more confused.

"Zoey? He's not home" Caitlyn said.

Melanie grinned, "Where did she go, Aunt Caitlyn?"

Caitlyn shook her head, "Don't know. He left with Levi early in the morning."

"Oh, okay, Uncle Aaron, Aunt Caitlyn. Please call us when Zoey gets back. Then we'll go."

Aaron and Caitlyn get more confused as the three of them leave. "What are they doing? Even give us a gift? Did they bribe us?"

"Don't tell me that Levi's words really come true?" Caitlyn mused. "I don't think I can see him anymore."

At this moment, Levi and Zoey wandered aimlessly in the city. At Levi's suggestion, Zoey has turned off her phone.

It was already night when Samuel and the others came out of Lopez's residence.

They don't go far.  In fact, they're waiting in front of Zoey's neighborhood. After waiting for three hours, Levi and Zoey have not returned.

Harry had also checked it several times.

“Where is he?  Contact Zoey now!” Samuel became impatient as he smoked one after another.

Melanie calls Zoey's number. "The number you are going to cannot be reached ..."

His expression stiffened after hearing the automatic message. "He turned off his phone ..."

"What's?  Did he do this on purpose?”  Samuel exploded with sudden rage.

Shaun also tried to call, and sure enough, his phone died.

“But Zoey doesn't know what happened.  Isn't this too coincidental?  Why did he turn off his phone?”  Melani said surprised.

“Oh yes, who knows Levi's number?  She's with Zoey now, ”thanya Samuel.

"I don't know"

"Let me ask Uncle Aaron and Aunt Caitlyn."

 After asking, Melanie shook her head anxiously.  "She had just returned the day before yesterday, so they didn't know her number either."

“Fuck!” Samuel's losing his temper.

At that point, Harry called to ask again. Samuel gave the phone directly to Melanie.

“We don't know where Zoey is, Grandpa.  They left the house early in the morning.  His phone has been turned off, and no one knows Levi's number.  Even Uncle Aaron and Aunt Caitlyn don't know anything.”

Hearing this, Harry was more anxious than anyone. Lopez's family's social status would have increased tenfold if they had secured the project.

“Then keep looking!  I want this completed by tomorrow morning! ”

Harry deploys every connection of Lopez's family to search for Zoey and Levi in North Hampton, including Zoey's classmates, friends, and colleagues.

However, Zoey's whereabouts are not known at all.

"Do you think Zoey has left North Hampton?"  someone said.

Harry was so scared that he almost had a heart attack. He glared at Henry and snorted. 

“You bastard!  It's all your fault for coming up with that stupid idea! Why are we firing them and taking back their company?  How much will we lose if we can't find Zoey tomorrow?  More than one billion?”

“Quick find him!  If you can't find him by eight tomorrow morning, I'll take back your company too!  You and your family won't get a penny!”

"Dad, I'll do it soon!" Henry almost wet the bed when he heard his father's threat.

"What are you guys still doing here?"  Harry glared at Fabian and the others.  “Soon search!  Unless you guys want to see a billion in vain!”

"Well...!"

That night, the entire Lopez family did not rest and searched for Levi and Zoey.

At this moment, the two of them had long since gone to sleep in a hotel. Zoey was so tired from walking all day that she fell asleep without even turning on her phone.

Everyone has been calling and looking for Zoey all night, but to no avail. It was almost dawn, and Harry's heart could hardly bear it anymore.

“If we miss this project, I will take three times more dividends each family this year!  And Henry, I'll take back your company.  Do whatever you want, you incompetent bastard! ” scolding Harry, slamming table.

Henry paled and said in a low voice, “Dad, maybe they went to play, and their phone died.  They will turn it back on after charging.”

"You think I'm a kid?  It wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for you!" After that, Harry slapped Henry hard.

“Oke, it's almost seven o'clock now.  They should've charged and turned on their phones by now, right?  Try contacting them now!”

Henry trembled as he called Zoey's number, and to his surprise, the call was connected.

"Hey, are you crazy for calling at this hour?" Levi's the one who answered the phone.

Everyone was dumbfounded and very happy at this moment.

"Levi, it's me, Uncle Henry!"  henry said immediately.

“Oh, Henry.  Why are you calling?  Have you gone crazy?"

Henry almost exploded upon hearing that, but he remained calm.  "Levi, where's Zoey?  Get him on the phone.  I have something important to tell him.”

“He's still sleeping.  Just tell me if there is something important,” Levi immediately refused.

Henry squirmed nervously.  “Levi, taking back Imperial Meadows and firing Zoey was our fault.  We decided to call back Zoey and let her take over Imperial Meadows Limited again.  Come to Lopez's house with Zoey now.  Your grandfather begged you both!”

"Oh?  Reactivation, huh?  No, thank you.  Zoey has got a new job,”, Levi said before hanging up.

"I'm gonna kill this motherfucker!"  Henry exploded.

"You fool!  Contact them again and ask where they are!” Harry gave Henry another slap.

"OK okay."

Henry called again.  “Levi, I know we were wrong!  This is a mistake on our part.  I swear there won't be a next time.  Give me your address, and I'll pick you up, okay?”

“What do you think you're doing?  Do you think you can fire and return someone as you please?  ZOEY IS NOT A TOOL FOR YOU TO PLAY!”  snapped Levi.

"You can ask for anything as long as Zoey comes back" Henry said immediately.  “Saw is no problem!”

“Alright, then.  You want Zoey back?  Sure, but whoever fired him from the start would be the one to invite him back!”

"That's me!  I'm the one who's gonna invite him back!”  said Henry.

“No, you have no right to do that.  Harry fired him.  Tell Harry to come alone! Otherwise, Zoey will never come back!” Levi insisted.

Anger almost swallowed Harry when he heard this.

"What's?  You want me to invite the girl back in person?  Are you looking for death, Levi? ” At this moment, he could feel nothing but humiliation.
