Chap 53's

Chloe wants to send him back, but Levi refuses her offer.

Noise erupted inside the private room after Levi's departure.

“Yes God!  What the hell just happened?  Levi Garrison is very scary.”

“Head Secretary North Hampton, Captain of the Patrol Force, they are all here.  You must be so embarrassed right now, trying to find him a job.”

Jed, Wayne, and the others were deeply embarrassed by the comments.

“Oh?  Is this the cigarette Levi smoked?  I've never seen this brand before.”  Someone picked up the empty box and asked curiously.

“You idiot.  These are cigarettes that are only available to military personnel. What's more, based on his label this is definitely a rare edition that is limited only to high-ranking officers.”

“What is his current status, I want to know?  He's really very intimidating.”

“ Yes.... He's a really impressive guy.  He was a successful man six years ago. And now, his achievements are even greater than before!”

Chloe's not in the discussion.  Mixed emotions churned up in his chest as he thought about what had just happened. He felt grateful and sorry at the same time.

His phone suddenly rang.  It was Levi's phone.

“Morris Atkinson, Did she not attend today's meeting?”  She asked.

Morris Atkinson is Levi's classmate as well as his best friend.  He was always by Levi's side during their high school and university years.

Morris contributed to the founding and success of the Levi Group in the past.  But after Levi is tricked by the Garrison family, Matthew Green and the others betray him.  So Levi reckons Morris has betrayed him as well because he's the vice president.

Levi attends a reunion with the sole purpose of meeting with Morris Atkinson.  But he didn't expect her to disappear.  “Hah?  It's natural that Morris Atkinson can't attend.”  Chloe replied, surprised by Levi's question.

“Why not?”  Levi frowned.

“She's dead, isn't she?”  Chloe returned the question to Levi.  I even advise everyone not to mention Morris by name at today's meeting so as not to spoil the mood.

“Meninggoy?”  Levi was completely dumbfounded.

“Ah.  You really don't know?  Not long after your imprisonment, the Garrison Family and the Levi Group clashed with each other.  News of Morris jumping from a building was spread to the public shortly after.  It says he committed suicide for fear of facing punishment for the Crime he committed.”  Chloe explained.

“What?  Something like that happened?”  Levi asked in surprise.  ‘I didn't investigate this matter because I knew the Garrison family set it all up.  So I'm not aware of Morris' death.  But if that's the case, maybe Morris didn't betray me at all.  Someone must have pushed him to Death.  Impossible for Morris to kill himself for fear of punishment!’

“Good.  I understand now.”  Levi hung up.  Then he contacted Azure Dragon to investigate the matter immediately.

Azure Dragon reported back to him after a few seconds

Morris Atkinson Vows to protect Levi Group with his life.  But the Garrison family framed him and forced him to jump off the building.  The media falsified news of the embezzlement of corporate funds by Morris Atkinson to engage in secret affairs.  But the news reports he killed himself for fear of facing punishment.

“Family Garrison!”  Levi punched the wall into a hole furiously. 

“I've misunderstood you, brother!”  Levi muttered to himself with guilt.

Zoey sensed Levi's abnormal demeanor when she arrived home that night.

She asked.  “What happened to you?”

“Do you know about Morris' death?”

Zoey.  “I think you've known all along.”

Levi explained.  “I just realized it last night.” 

“Please do not act impulsively.  Just let go of the past!”  Zoey fears Levi will take revenge against the Garrison family.

“He is my best friend!  He died because of me.  How could Jau stop me from letting go of this so easily?  I will never forgive the Garrison family!”  Levi said Threaten.

Zoey immediately comforted him.  “You need to calm down.  Our business has just grown.  We don't have the strength to face the Garrison family now.”

Levi replied with a sinister tone.  “The one-month period I gave them will run out in a week.  I'll have them pay the price for what they did to Morris. They've dug their own graves!”

Azure Dragon accompanies Levi to the tomb of Morris Atkinson.

Morris was not buried in a proper cemetery because of the Garrison Disorder family.  He was only buried in a remote place in the wild. 

Even the weeds covering his grave were long unguarded. Perhaps this grave could no longer be distinguished after a few more years. 

“I'm here to see you, brother!”  Levi said in a low voice.  “You are my first partner, you are the one who motivates me to be ready for a world of business that is like a battlefield.  No one will ever understand our bond.

Levi cleaned the weeds in Morris' grave with his own hands and fixed his tombstone.

Levi picked up a limited-edition bottle of wine that was only available in the army and sat down in front of his grave.

“Let's enjoy this quality wine today, brother.”  Levi swallowed the contents after he spoke.

“Azure Dragon, tell everyone in the Garrison family to pay the price for their bad deeds here after six days.”  Levi's Order.

“Understanding, Mr.”  The Azure Dragon nodded. 

“Kirin, ask Nueve to bring some people here to fix this grave.  I can't let my brother's grave be in such a terrible state!”  Levi told Kirin.

Then he continued to drink a bottle of wine while walking around remembering their past togetherness.  He had promised Morris that he would give him the most luxurious Rolls-Royce at his wedding.

Levi stayed at Morris's grave for most of the day.

“Come go visit Morris.” parents  Levi straightened himself.

“I've found the location of his parents, sir.  They live in a village not far from the city.”  Azure Dragon Report.

Levi grimacing.  “What?  Morris' parents worked as government staff in the past.  They have a house in town.  So why are they living in the village now?”

Azure Dragon hesitated for a moment before continuing.  “The Garrison family is the mastermind behind this.  They revoked his parents' ownership of his house and his pension fund.  So they had no other choice but to move to the village and now barely survive.”

Levi's expression darkened.  ‘The Garrison family ushered Morris's parents to the brink of despair!  They would have been dead if not for their old age.  I must destroy that vile family!’

“Come go!  I want to visit them.  I already consider them as my own parents now. Anyone who dares to touch them will face death!” 

Azzure Dragon and Kirin trembled in fear as they listened to Levi's unforgiving words. 

‘It's been a long time since he was so angry.  I remember the last one was when he alone faced the strongest battalion of that Eighteen countries.’

Nueve led a group of men to the place and immediately repaired the grave after the Three left.

Trey and all the other mob bosses from different gangs follow Nueve. They brought no less than three hundred people.  After all, it was their obligation to fulfill the task Levi had given them.

The village was not far from North Hampton but precisely it had a very striking difference compared to the city.

The people living in those lawless areas all came from complicated backgrounds.  Homelessness and provocative dressed women fill the dirty alleys.

Levi felt a heart-wrenching pain as he looked around.  How could Morris' parents live in such a place?

He eventually found Morris's parents living in a small building with a total of thirty square meters located deep within the alley.

“Take the money now, you stupid old man!  You're the only family left who haven't paid the cost!” 

Levi and the others heard the commotion from afar. They immediately found out what happened after they entered the courtyard.

Some blond thugs are charging a security fee from Morris' parents.

They both look aging since the last time Levi saw them six years ago.  They clearly suffered a lot.

“Please give us a little more time.  We will receive our subsistence allowance soon.  I'll make sure to pay you in advance at that time! ” Morris' father, Rowen Atkinson, begs for mercy.

“Damn You!  You said that last time too. ” Gang leader Raised his hand about to slap Mr. Atkinson.
