Chap 47's

Chopper looked at Levi in disbelief.  ‘He is the King of War.  But he was very polite

to the man who smoked this cigarette.  Who is he?’

Kirin gripped Chopper's neck and lifted him up, holding him in the air.  "I'll talk.  I'll tell you everything!  Nueve sent us here.”  Chopper said it all because he was scared shitless.

“Tell Nueve to see me in thirty minutes.  Don't let me go to him.”  Kirin smiled eerily.

“OK, okay, okay.  I'll call him now! ” Reply Chopper quickly.

Nueve was having fun at the time inside the bar.  "What's wrong?  Did you solve the problem there?  People from the Lopez Family questioned our previous progress.”  Nueve asked casually after the call connected.

"Something terrible happened, Mr. Nueve!"  Chopper answered in a panic.

"What's going on?"

“Please come here now, Mr. Nueve.  We're being held here!"

The call was closed before Chopper could explain further.

Nueve roared after being told of the situation.  “Gather all members and follow me!"

Several vans arrived at the construction site half an hour later.

Hundreds of thugs rushed towards the scene, with Nueve leading the way.

They saw Levi and Kirin standing alone at the location while Chopper and the others were lying on the ground.

"Who Are You?  Can you tell me your name? ” Nueve asked coldly.

Nueve had the impression that he was the toughest man in North Hampton, despite sensing something was wrong with the strange atmosphere he was seeing.

“So You're Nueve?  Who gave you the order to do this?”  ask Levi.

"Who do you think you are?  How dare you ask me?”  Nueve scoffs.

Crews!  Nueve did not expect Kirin to pull out a gun and point it at his forehead. In addition, the gun had been loaded with bullets and was ready to bomb his skull.

Everyone is dumbfounded.  Even Nueve's body was trembling.  ‘No one had the guts to put a gun on me before'

 Nueve raised his hand in surrender as his legs wavered.  “Let's talk well. Your gun is very rare.  Is it for military use?”

Nueve has a lot of experience in the community.  He was able to discern that Levi's assertive and imposing demeanor and Kirin were traits only seen in military men.

Nueve once saw a model of a weapon in Kirin's hands.  The weapon was specifically for soldiers in the Special Operations Regiment.

Kirin did not say a word.  But his uniform was revealed as the wind blew open the raincoat he was wearing.

There was a star label on his shoulders!  He is the king of war!

Deg!

Nueve is shocked when he gets himself in big trouble.  ‘What terrible luck do I have to stumble with them!’

Lasers aimed at their faces added to the unpleasant atmosphere there.

Unprecedented terror filled their hearts.

The lights on the construction site were lit in the next second. That place was suddenly as bright as daylight.

Everyone finally knew the source of the laser aimed at their face.  They saw snipers aiming at them with their sniper rifles from afar.  They were heavily armed with several grenades hanging on their shoulder vests…

“Kneel soon, Mr. Nueve.  They're from the Special Operations Regiment!"  shout Chopper.

Trey's warning echoed beside Nueve's ear at the time.  ‘He is indeed someone I should not provoke.  More importantly, Trey knew he couldn't tell me about the identities of these people.’

“This is my mistake.  I'll tell you everything, Master.  Lopez's daughter-in-law, Samuel, called me!  I have a chat history and transaction receipt.  Here, take my phone!”  Nueve knew that it was information Levi wanted to know.  So he told Levi the truth about the Lopez family's request.

Kirin handed the phone to Levi.

Levi's face furrowed in anger after he scanned the contents.  ‘The Lopez family must be tired of living!’

“We were just told to run the order, Sir!  Please show her mercy and forgive us.”  Nueve ducked down on the floor in fear.

“I heard you all destroyed a lot of buildings here last night.  So it's your responsibility to recover the construction.  I want you all to work here from tomorrow onwards!  In addition, you will compensate for the psychological trauma you inflicted on those workers.  Fifty million should be enough. ” Say Levi firmly. 

"OK okay okay.  I'm in agreement with all your requests.  We don't mind working hard here!”  Nueve had no guts to turn down Levi.  He considered himself lucky to escape death.

Kirin, the War King took Nueve's knife and crushed the sharp metal piece easily.

Nueve's subordinate was horrified by the sight.  ‘Despite our status differences, this guy can easily beat hundreds of us without sweating.’

“Don't wait until tomorrow.  You're gonna start working here tonight.  I hope to see some results tomorrow morning.  Also, the sewage system is not installed. I guess you guys are gonna handle that job? ” Levi added.

Pfftts!

Everyone knows what he means.  He's obviously telling us to take someone else's trash.

But Nueve did not dare to go against Levi's suggestion.

“May I know your relationship with Bu Zoey, Sir?”  Nueve gathered his courage to ask that question in his mind.

"Oh.  She's my wife.” Levi replied.

Everyone gasped as clarity swept over them.

Samuel called Nueve after Levi and the others left.  “How's it going, Mr Nueve?  I'm waiting to pay you the rest.”

Nueve burst into rage as he listened to Samuel. “Fuck you, Samuel Robertson!  My brothers are paralyzed and I almost died because of you.  Mark my words, you'll get the consequences.  I won't forgive you, just wait!”  Nueve hung up the phone afterwards.

Samuel's terrified.

Harry asked.  "What the hell is going on?"

“Nueve said his men were paralyzed, and he almost died.  He also mentioned that he will not forgive us!”  Samuel explained helplessly.

The entire Lopez family was about to wet the bed, listening to his explanation.  “This must have been Levi Garrison!  He'll get us all killed.”

“The family is evil!  They hurt us intentionally.  Sooner or later, we will experience our downfall because of them!”  Harry Lopez slammed the table in anger.

"What should we do now?"  ask Fabian worriedly.

"What else can we do?  We should have them apologize!”  Harry shouted in anger.

The next day, Zoey, Aaron, and the other workers were stunned after they arrived at the construction site because there were already people working tirelessly on site.

Much of the construction that was destroyed the previous night was restored.

More importantly, the people who moved the bricks were covered with tattoos.

"Aren't these guys the thugs from that night?"

Zoey recognizes the men as criminals who caused them trouble that night.  This is unbelievable.  They may not be good at building things, but these people are great workers.

"What's going on?"  Zoey and the others were confused.

A middle-aged man dressed all in black rushed towards them with a group of subordinates following behind him at that moment.

Zoey and the others are frightened by a group of men who approach them.

“What does this mean?”  Aaron took out his club.
