Chap 6's

“Well, well, look who's here.  If not Aaron and his criminal son-in-law.”

Along with the ridicule, Harry and the others came up with a gift bag consisting of quality wine, wild ginseng, tea, and so on in their hands.

Lopez's family plan was simple - to flatter the war gods as much as they could.

"I didn't expect you to come, Zoey," said Melanie as she moved closer to Zoey, her voice laced with sarcasm.

"Where's your invitation card? Show me. It is easy to buy fake ones today. " Manie, Samuel, and the others were not even sure Levi could get the invitation. Look at their status, there was no way they could get an invitation to the banquet! It's like saying pigs can fly!

"I ..." Zoey hesitated as there was no invitation card, to begin with.

"Come on. What are you hiding? " Manie laughs.

"Don't tell me your invitation card is made of gold so I can't even see it?" Zoey lowered her head, her head lowered.

"Aaron, show me your invitation card!" Harry demanded as he watched the couple's strange demeanor.

"Dad, I ..." Aaron panic.

"What's? You're not going to obey your own father's orders? Hurry up and show me! " Harry shouted.

Aaron was breathless and could only tell the truth.

"Dad, we don't have an invitation card .. it was Levi who brought us here ..." As soon as they heard it, Samuel, Melanie, and the others laughed so hard that their stomachs were injured.

"You idiot!" Harry looked at Aaron.

"It's a shame to have a son like you!"

Sensing the mocking eyes and disdainful laughter of the others, Aaron's blood seemed to boil as his last remaining piece of dignity in front of the Lopez family disappeared without a trace.

Zoey also hates Levi deeply, knowing that they have lost all respect from the Lopez family.

"Why don't you know the shame of attending a banquet without an invitation!"

"Let me tell you the facts. No matter how hard you try, your family will never be able to enter this gate! " samuel's taunting.

"Let's go inside, Grandpa," Melanie said as she held Harry's arm.

"Don't let them get in the way."

"You're right.  Don't know how embarrassing they are.”

Lopez's family looked towards Levi and rushed towards the gate.

Aaron was about to say something when Levi said, “Dad, look.  They won't be able to get in."

Standing at the entrance of Paradise Villa were dozens of security guards hired to maintain order at the scene.

Samuel took out twelve invitation cards and handed them over.  "For twelve, please."

He said that while upholding his back, looking proud.

After all, not many people could issue twelve invitation cards at once?

But the next second, the security guard said expressionlessly, “You are forbidden to enter and are forbidden to attend the banquet!”

"What?"

Samuel and the others thought they had misheard the security guards.

"That's impossible!  Riley, secretary of Office Building, sent us this invitation directly yesterday!”  Harry denied.

Samuel put on a haughty face.  “This is my invitation card.  Let me in!  You can't mess with me!"

Thump!

Suddenly, a club was placed on Samuel's head.

“Do you not understand human language?  You are forbidden to enter!  Should I explain to you in violence? ”

With a cold club pointed at his head, Samuel was so frightened that he almost peed in his pants.

But with so many eyes watching him, he gathered his courage and counterattacked.  “I challenge you to touch me!  Don't you know who I am?  Let me bicra with your boss! ”

The security guards dropped him with a club; samuel was completely wet in his pants, and the Lopez family grew increasingly frightened.

“What are you waiting for?  Scram!”  snatch the security guard. Lopez's family helped Samuel get up and run.

"You're right.  They can't get in.”

Aaron was surprised by the sight that lay before him. At that moment, Levi smiled and held Zoey's hand.  “We have to go in!”

“Do not!  We're gonna get ourselves killed.  How do we get inside when Samuel and the others just can't even get past the security checkpoint?”  Aaron and Caitlyn said and paddled back in fear.

Zoey's delicate body was shaking as well.  “Yes, can we really go inside?  We don't even have an invitation card!"

“Don't you say that will give me one last chance?  How do you know if we don't try?"  Levi smiled.

"Okay, I believe you!"  Zoey clasped Levi's hand tightly.

“Officers!”  Melanie's voice rang out just as the four of them approached the security checkpoint.

“Although they are members of the Lopez family, my grandfather has long since expelled them from the Lopez family!  They have nothing to do with us!”

“Ya, officer.  They have nothing to do with the Lopez family" Harry said in a confused voice. 

"Please don't take it personally on us!"

Levi looked back and smirked. ‘A heartless creature like that!’

When they arrive at the security checkpoint, Zoey even closes her eyes.  To be honest, he would rather die today than be humiliated.

Aaron and Caitlyn felt the same way.

Harry and the others did not leave.  They hide in the distance, intending to see Aaron and his family hurt themselves.

“Welcome, Mr. Garrison and family!  You are our most honored guest.  Invitation not required!”

Upon hearing that, Zoey opened her eyes to see dozens of security guards lined up in two rows, saluting them. As if they have entered a fantasy world, Zoey and her parents enter Paradise Villa.

Harry and the others, who were waiting for a good show outside, were completely dumbfounded.

“They... They're in?  How's it possible?"

To be honest, Zoey and her parents felt a great joy when they saw the look of disbelief in the Lopez family.

Aaron looked around, still in disbelief.  "Easy this.  How did you do it, Lev?”

Only then did they feel that their son-in-law was rather useful. At the very least, they managed to redeem themselves from the humiliation they suffered. Caitlyn smiled.  "Levi also had connections in North Hampton before this, right?"

“You're right, Mom.  I have friends" Levi replied.

Zoey looked at Levi suspiciously.  He had a feeling that things weren't that simple. Hardly any of his friends helped him when he was in trouble. There are many who even try to drop it ... Can anyone help him?

At the villa, Zoey and her parents are careful with their every move. Because, they were unable to damage anything or offend anyone on such an occasion.

“Zoey. Is that you?  What are you doing here?  Did I see anything awkward?”

Suddenly, a sound of surprise was heard from behind. Zoey's eyes were filled with disdain as she looked at the person who entered. The four people who came towards him wore tuxedos and had a noble attitude.

The man in charge was Derrick Johns, son of the president of Apex Group. He has long lusted for Zoey, even offering millions to sleep with her, but she remains unmoved. As an act of revenge, Derrick has caused Zoey's well-developed company to go bankrupt.

“Why can't I be here?”  Zoey said coldly. Derrick looked at Levi from top to bottom.  “Is this your criminal husband?  Did he bring you in?"

After which, he leaned closer to Zoey and burst into laughter.  "I don't care how you guys get in, but with my strength, I can send your husband back to prison again and keep him locked up for a decade or two!"

Zoey believes Derrick can do it, given his wisdom and ability. "

What do you want?"  Zoey looked at him cautiously.

“As long as you promise to keep me company, I swear I won't bother him!  Otherwise, I will definitely send it again!"
