THE PROTECTOR
Chap 54's

His hand came to a halt in the air as Levi grasped his wrist firmly.

"Who Are You?  Let go of me immediately!”  The gang leader threatened.

Bam!

Levi punched his face firmly.  His head jolted backwards and blood spurted in all directions.

The thug screamed in pain.

Kirin and Azure Dragon handle the rest of the thugs.  The thugs rushed away from the scene on all fours.

The leader of the gang shouted before he fled.  “Damn you, old man!  how dare you call for help.  I'm gonna call Tiger here.  Just wait!”

 They then immediately left.

Mr. Atkinson and his wife closed their eyes in despair.

Tiger is the boss in charge of the village.  He had no less than fifty thugs working for him.  And he has the power to do what he likes around this area.

Tiger and his subordinates made a living by collecting protection fees from the villagers.  Anyone who does not hand over the fee or is late in handing over the money will be beaten or even incapacitated at certain times.

Tiger is a ruthless man who has experience behind bars.  His name will cause fear in all the villagers.

“Thank you, young man.  You have to leave while you can.” Rowen said.

“Uncle, Aunty, it's me! Levi Garrison!”  Levi introduced himself excitedly.

“Levi?  Is this really you?  Lfs nice.  Nice to meet you after so long!”

Rowen and his wife were crying.  ‘Our dear son, the only hope in this world, is gone.  Seeing Levi now reminds us of Morris.  Oh, Moris!’

“Uncle, Aunty, please don't worry from now on.  I'll take care of you for the rest of your life in place of Morris.  No one will dare to touch you two as long as I am around!”

Anger surged within Levi as he saw the bruises on the old couple's neck.  ‘Backed!  They showed no mercy to this old man!’

Rowen glanced at the ground floor and said in a hurry.  “Levi, you must leave immediately.  They must have told Tiger.  He will be coming soon.”

"True Levi.  Your life will be in danger once Tiger is here.  That guy is so cruel.  You might even be crippled by it.  Go now while you can, boy!". Morris' mother encourages Levi to run away.

"Uncle, Auntie, what will you two do if I leave?"  ask Levi. 

“Do not worry about us.  At most we'll suffer a beating.  Moreover, our lives are worthless no more.  You have to hang on and come back to clear Morris's name. Revenge on him!”  Rowen shed tears as she spoke.

Levi comforted them.  “Do not worry.  I am now strong enough to protect you both and avenge Morris at the same time.”

“It won't work.  You've never seen Tiger in action.  He even dared to kill someone!"

‘See, this Tiger has instilled fear in everyone's mind after hearing his name. Mr and Mrs Atkinson trembled as they called out Tiger.  That means he must have bullied them a lot.’ Levi thought to himself.

“Please go now.  We don't want to trouble you with this problem!”  Morris' mother was worried.  He urged them to leave while glancing at the ground floor from time to time.

"Uncle aunty.  Please relax.  Nothing is going to happen now because I'm here.  I'd like to meet Tiger in person as well.”  Levi turned around to look at Kirin. 

"Tell Nueve and his men to come here.”

 Kirin nodded.  "Yes sir."

"Go.  Now go!  It's dangerous for you to stay."

“No, wait.  It's too late now.  They are here!”  rowen said in fear.

More than ten men, holding sticks and all kinds of weapons, entered that rural area.

Tiger roared in front of the countryside, some distance from the Atkinson family home. The other occupants hurriedly closed their windows in fear.  They don't want something that has nothing to do with them being affected.

The two old men clasped Levi's arms as they heard Tiger's voice.

Levi patted the shoulders of the two.  “Nothing to fear.”  Tiger and his men reached the stairs quickly, where Kirin and the Azure Dragon stood guard.

Tiger's face turned sour when he saw Kirin and Azure Dragon who looked sinister.

He sensed danger from the threatening aura emanating from their bodies.

"Who hit my brother?"  She asked.

Tiger was furious that no one dared to oppose him in the village.

He always gets what he wants at all times.  So it was an unprecedented scenario for his subordinates to be beaten up by others.

That was the reason why he had come to take revenge personally.

Levi said with a smile.  "That's me."

“Aren't you so presumptuous?  Are you Rowen's relative?  How dare you call to help beat up my subordinate, Rowen Atkinson?  I will torture you and your wife to the fullest!”  Tiger threatened the old couple blatantly in front of Levi.

Rowen and his wife were terrified.  They begged for mercy immediately.  “Please forgive my nephew, Mr. Tiger. I beg you. I promise not to repeat it again.”

“I can forgive him if you pay Ku five hundred thousand USD for medical expenses.  But it would be worth it if each of them broke one of his arms.” Tiger Cibir.

"What's?  Five hundred grand?"  The elderly couple was stunned with terror.  “You can't do that!  They are young.  So please don't break their arms.  Please break our hands instead!”  Tears streamed down Rowen's cheeks as she pleaded with Tiger.

“It's not that easy Ferguso!  Your arms are not as good as theirs.  Oh!  Are you three deaf?  Don't force me to break your own hand!”  Tiger's lips curled upwards maliciously.

Broom!  Broom!  Broom!

 The sound of the car bunch echoed in the alley like there was a convoy of several luxury cars in the area.

The sound caught the attention of Tiger and his men.  They turned to look at the source of the noise.  More than ten vans drove until it stopped.

Countless men rushed out of the van and ran into the courtyard.

Clik.  Clik.  Clik…

People gathered around the narrow space and surrounded Tiger and his subordinates.  The newcomers glared at the thugs with sticks in their hands.

“Pak... Mr. Tiger.  They have about two hundred people here, excluding the other hundred standing outside.”  A thug reported tremblingly.

"What's?  three hundred people?”  Tiger and the other thugs were dumbfounded.

They scan the surroundings and find problems.  Each one of these people had a large, muscular body.  'I can tell that they are skilled fighters because of the evil aura they give off.  These people are on a completely different level compared to us.  Each of them can beat the five of us easily.’

"What's going on here?"  Tiger was also trembling in fear.

At that moment, a small group of people appeared.  Nueve walked in front with three other mafia bosses following behind him.

“Mr Nueve?  And that's Trey and two other Mafia bosses from North Hampton?”  Tiger recognized strong people because he was an experienced thug. 

I was only qualified to be Trey's subordinate, while Nueve was of course a figure far beyond my reach.’ Think Tiger

"What brings you here, Mr Nueve?"  Tiger greeted him politely with a bow.  But Nueve completely ignored Tiger.  He walked towards the stairs and greeted Levi politely.  "Please give us your orders, Mr. Levi."
