"Oh?  That You?"

Levi also recognized Chloe.

Chloe is a classmate of Levi High School.  She is one of the most beautiful and popular girls in school, with many admirers chasing after her.

Chloe had tried to chase Levi in the past, but Levi rejected her.

After High School, Chloe just enters a regular university and stops all contact with Levi.

But he keeps updating himself on Levi's news.

Chloe was very grateful for Levi's rejection after she heard about his imprisonment.  He would be so embarrassed if they were together at that time.  He felt mixed emotions facing him directly now, but he felt more excited than ever.  He finally had the chance to show off his achievements in front of Levi!  He wanted Levi to regret his decision to reject him!

“When were you released from prison?”  ask Chloe.

“Two weeks ago!”  answer Levi.

“Ahh, you were once the most successful newbie in the North Hampton business world.  Too bad you were sent behind bars.  Otherwise, you might have become one of the richest men in town.  I remember I once expressed love to you because you were so great and wonderful.  But you rejected me.  I wonder if you'll accept me now if I declare it to you again?  Hehehe..” complains Chloe.

“What?  You are an amazing person now, Manager!  You are the manager of Bayview Garden Real Estate Agents, as well as a top sales agent!  You make a few million a year, and you have your own home and a luxury car!  Not to mention your charming beauty.  He's not good enough for a guy like you.”

“He must have regretted his decision to reject your confession that day!  He might even offer himself to you now, he has just been released from prison.”

“You're too good for a guy like him, Manager.  He's just a lowly person compared to you!”

Other sales agents are experienced and quick to assess the situation.  They understood Chloe's intentions as soon as she spoke.  So they all work together on the scheme.

 Levi stared at the employee sign on Chloe's chest.  He is the manager of Bayview Garden Real Estate Agency.  I think Chloe is a competent person in her profession.

Chloe said with a smile, “With my academic qualifications, I have no choice but to become a sales Agent.  Although my achievement of a monthly salary of several million may be nothing compared to your earnings in the past, I still do better than you do today ... “

Chloe purposely lets her scorn hang in an attempt to scorn Levi.  He could not feel any more pleased, seeing Levi's pitiful appearance.  He was once the best among our colleagues, but look at him now.  This must be destiny.

Levi smiled.  “Indeed, you look like you can do well for yourself!”

Chloe pretended as if a thought had come to her mind.  “Oh true.  We'll have a High School reunion on the 7th of this month.  Are you coming?  If yes, please do not feel inferior at that time.  It is a virtue to celebrate the success of another friend, after all success. ”

“Reuni High School?  Sure, Sure I'll come.”  Levi nodded.

"That's great."  Chloe's cheerful smile did not reflect her disappointment at Levi inwardly.

According to Chloe, Levi just wants to attend a reunion to pamper their former classmates.

He grins.  “Oh, are you here to buy a house?  I'm afraid the cheapest unit available here will cost you at least thirty million, even if I give you all the deals and discounts I can.  Why don't you consider a house that costs about three million?  You might be capable enough for that. However, you should look for properties outside North Hampton for homes with that price range!”

Levi looked at Chloe.  “Well, it won't be enough for me.  I just want to buy a house in North Hampton.

“Hahaha..” Mary and the others burst into laughter.  How long will he do that?

Chloe laughed too.  “Old friend, I have to remind you.  We only accept full payment in cash for properties under our agency.  Even if you receive the unit with a mortgage loan, you'll have to pay a few million for the down payment.  I don't think you can afford that amount right now! ”

“Full payment in cash?  Are you sure?"  Chloe's surprised. 

‘He only dares to utter outrageous nonsense because he cares too much about his pride.  Hmph!  I'll see if Levi can fulfill his own words.  He would only embarrass himself in the end.  Then I will spread this embarrassing incident to our High School friends tonight!’

But everyone was stunned after Levi added.  "Let me see the most expensive unit you have here!"

Everyone fell silent as they looked at him in confusion.

"Whatdidyou say?  The most expensive price?  Are you sure?"  Chloe asked in a low voice.

Abigail scolded him impatiently.  “Are you deaf?  He wants the most expensive unit!”

Chloe regained consciousness.  ‘Hmph!  The most expensive unit, you say?  I can't wait to see how you're gonna pay for that house!’

“Alright, follow me!”  Chloe takes them to a real estate model and points to one of the units.

“This is the most luxurious house in Bayview Garden, measuring five hundred square meters.  We will also include a garage and free underground storage for you.  The price for this unit is fifty million!”

"What do you think?"  Chloe looked at Levi with satisfaction after she gave them a thorough explanation.

Mary and the others looked at Levi mockingly.  ‘How are you going to pay now, Is it just with your big talk?’

Levi nodded in satisfaction.  "Not bad!"

"I don't think this is bad either."  Abigail nodded in agreement.

Chloe smile.  He could win an Oscar for that rhetorical statement!  The question remains, how will Levi buy a fifty million house?

Chloe had decided to humiliate Levi right then and there.  He wanted to push her into a corner with no place to escape.  “Let's see the showroom, huh?  This is a smaller unit, available for you to move immediately!”  Chloe said with a smile.  ‘I will never let him go easily.’

But he did not expect the next turn of events.

Levi pulled out a credit card and said, “No need for that.  I'll buy it now.”

Everyone is dumbfounded.

"What's?  You buy that unit now?”  Mary was the first to snap herself back to reality.

"Are you sure?"  Chloe's voice is shaking.

Levi handed the card to him.  “Continue now!  I have some other problems to solve! ”

Chloe received the card with a trembling hand as she recognized the Centurion card she was holding.  There is no credit limit for this card!  Is he really qualified to have such a card?

Chloe proceeded to check the payment with doubt in her heart.

The payment was successful after Levi entered the password.

He paid fifty million in one transaction!  Chloe, Mary, and the other sales agents were shocked.  He actually spent that kind of money to buy a house!

They looked at Levi with a look of disbelief.

‘ by my ability, I had to earn this consistent salary for over ten years to buy that house. But Levi just paid the amount so easily? ‘ Chloe thinks inwardly.
