Chap 57's

Chloe had no idea how she should respond to the events she had just seen.  ‘I can receive at least fifty million commission from this sale only.  But I didn't even do anything.’

Chloe's parents now realize Vernon's success is far from great, having seen this.  Not even their family's wealth could match him.  "Larry, let's discuss our children's problems next time."  Theodore said without shame.

"Huh?  But..” Larry and his family are left glued to their place dumbfounded while Chloe and her family leave quickly.

Levi took Atkinson to a new villa at night.  “Please stay here from now on.  I'll take good care of you in place of Morris!”

Levi finally felt comfortable after he finished arranging accommodation for his godparents.

Meanwhile, the Garrison family continued to monitor Levi's movements as usual.

Bryan Garrison sneered.  "Levi bought a house for Morris' parents and even vowed to avenge Morris's death."

“Hmph-deep.  He's just a piece of trash.  I doubt he'll find the truth behind Morris' death, let alone take revenge.”  Victoria responded with disdain.

“Did the Lopez family know about this problem?  Bryan, I need you to tell them right away.  I want them to be there five days.  I want Lopez's family to see with their own eyes when I torture Levi.  I can finally avenge Ashton after so long!”  Jaycob spoke coldly.

The arrival of Bryan Garrison in the Lopez family scared Harry and the others away.

Lopez's family members were terrified after they were told of the meeting at the cemetery.

Bryan threatened them.  "I'll exterminate the entire Lopez family if I don't see all of you there in five days."

“Please rest assured, Mr. Garrison.  We will definitely be there!”  Harry Lopez's legs are wobbly.

Until Bryan leaves, Harry releases his anger.  “Levi absolutely bre**sek!  Why should he go and offend the Garrison family?  Now he also invites trouble for our family.  I'm gonna kill him!  Let's go to Aaron's house now!”

Harry took everyone to Aaron's place.  He asks Aaron to call Zoey and Levi as well.

Levi and Zoey saw many cars parked outside the house when they arrived.  They were shocked to see the crowd inside the house.  Every member of the Lopez family was there.

“You bastard, Levi!  You're the cause of Lopez's family's death! ” Aaron reprimands Levi as he walks through the door.  Everyone started to abuse him too.

Zoey turned her gaze to Levi in disbelief after she found out about the whole story.  He sobs.  “I told you not to provoke the Garrison family.  Why don't you listen to me?  I know you want to avenge Morris, but have you ever thought of us?  Have you ever thought of me?”

"I ..." Levi was cut off as he started talking.

"No!  You never thought of anything from my point of view!  You always do as you please.  Now you really have offended the Garrison family and implicated my family in this mess!  The Lopez family will no longer exist in North Hampton if the Garrison family is not satisfied with us.  We're all in danger now.  Do you want to drive me to death before you're satisfied?  Zoey shed tears.

Levi did not explain.  They won't listen to anything I say.  "What should we do now?"  Aaron panic.

"There's only one way to solve this ..." Harry voices.  “Zoey should divorce her!  Breaking all ties with Levi Garrison is the only way to secure ourselves now.”

Samuel and Shaun agreed.  "Absolutely.  They should get divorced!  This is the only method to protect our family now!”

Although Aaron and his wife were persecuted by the Lopez family all along, they sided with the argument.

Caitlyn nodded in agreement.  "Absolutely.  I think we'll be able to live in peace.  But you're inviting this mess.  You no longer have the right to stay in the Lopez family!”

Everyone firmly asks Zoey to divorce Levi.  They didn't want him to stay a second longer in the family.

Levi did not care about the opinions of outsiders.  He just wants to know Zoey's attitude.

Levi looked at Zoey and asked her.  "What do you think?  I will respect your decision.”  Levi will not go against Zoey's wishes if she wants to divorce him.

“To be honest, you disappointed me so much.  You ignored the peaceful life even deliberately provoking the Garrison family.  This is no longer a matter that you will only take care of yourself because the Lopez family is now involved as well.  The Garrison family can destroy our family easily if they want.”  Zoey expressed her thoughts harshly.

Harry and the others were satisfied with what Zoey said.  ‘Zoey will divorce Levi because he blames her now.  This way, our family will escape this predicament without loss.’

“Can you consider the other person's point of view before you do something in the future?  To prevent dragging my family into this mess, I have decided.”.

Levi closed his eyes as he waited for Zoey's assessment.  Looks like he wants a divorce.

“I will leave the Lopez family and sever all my ties with all of you.  I choose to stay by my husband's side and go through every hardship together.”  Zoey took a step forward and stood beside Levi.

Levi became dazed as he processed Zoey's words in his mind.  He's very happy.  ‘She is my wife!’

Everyone inside the house was confused by Zoey's announcement.

Aaron and Caitlyn shouted simultaneously.  “What do you think you're doing, Zoey Lopez?  You should get divorced!  Divorce her!”

Zoey shook her head.  "No.  I'm not getting divorced.  Why should I wait for him for six years if I want a divorce?  Grandfather, if you want to break all ties with Levi, please remove me from the family.”

"It's…"

Harry is reluctant to make the final call because Zoey is his granddaughter as well. In addition, he was handling a big project that could return their name at the time.

“Quick and make an official statement, Grandpa.  We can protect Lopez's family by sacrificing her alone.”  Samuel's urgent.  The rest of the family convinced Harry as well.

Aaron and Caitlyn had no other choice but to stand aside and watch helplessly.

Levi's voice rang out just as Harry was about to speak.  “Do you believe me?  I'm going to solve this problem without causing trouble for the Lopez family.  But I'll only do it if you promise not to expel Zoey from the family.”

“No one will believe you.  Where did you find the confidence to say those words?

“Even Zoey disappointed in you, let alone us.”

Levi's remarks triggered a wave of discontent to erupt among members of Lopez's family.

At that moment, Zoey was also hesitant.  So he didn't expect anyone else to believe in Levi.

Harry Lopez glanced at Levi and Zoey in an unforgiving manner before he announced.  “I have decided to remove Zoey Lopez from the Lopez family.  From now on, he will not have any relationship with the Lopez family.  I will clarify this situation with the Garrison family and make a public statement as well.  We are no longer in contact with you two from now on.  You have to solve your own mess.
