Her Lovely Son's

Fabian came home with a heart that felt empty. After returning Blue to Baskara, he finds that one corner of his heart is not okay. But he's not sorry. Because if it is not done now, he might be more difficult to release Sabiru later.

It's 1 in the morning. Normally, the house is dark and all the doors are locked. However, Fabian instead found the front door slightly open, causing suspicion as well as concern in case anyone sneaks into his house.

With the steps made wider, Fabian walked towards the door. The mist necklace he pushed the heavy wooden door, only to be sculpted in the middle of it when he found Raya sitting alone on the living room sofa.

Unlike usual, the woman's appearance looked much better. His black hair was allowed to decompose, clearly combed and neatly styled. The navy blue dress below the knees wrapped her slender body. His feet were wrapped in heels as high as 5 centimeters with a blunt tip. Living room lights are turned on brightly, even with other lights in all parts of the house.

It was as if not letting the shock just stop there. The woman raised her head, then looked at Fabian with a completely unfamiliar look of shady eyes. There was still no smile line on his lips that was drawn straight. However, Fabian could clearly feel the difference from the aura surrounding the woman this time around.

“Mama why haven't you slept?” fabian asked as he closed the door behind him in a slow motion. Hesitating, he began to step. His eyes moved watching around, fearing something unwanted happened.

Again, he was astonished.

Instead of going berserk as usual, Raya instead calmly told him to come closer. Not on another sofa, the woman even shifted her seat then patted the empty space next to her as a sign that she wanted Fabian to sit there.

Even though he felt strange, Fabian kept moving his legs closer. Still with full vigilance, his butt landed slowly on the sofa. The distinctive rose scent emanated from the body of Raya when Fabian managed to sit right beside the woman, leaving a distance that was not too meaningful. Moving just a little, his arms could even come into contact with the belonging of the Kingdom.

“Why?” ask Fabian again.

Instead of answering, Raya instead offered a key. Fabian looked at the key for a while, then looked back at Raya after realizing that it was the key to the beer storage shed in their home.

“Cannish them.” Kata Raya's. His voice was still flat as usual. The only thing that was different from the way the woman communicated with herself was really just her eyes.

Fabian did not immediately take the key, nor did he respond to the request of the Kingdom because he knew that the woman had to explain further about her wishes. So Fabian waited a little longer, paying his full attention to the woman.

“I don't need them.” Utur Raya's. Because Fabian never took over the key he gave, Raya also pulled the young man's hand and put the key in his palm. “Please destroy them. And instead, let's start making a deal.”

Deal. That word made Fabian smile bitterly. Is it time now? Did he really have to give up his life, to see his mother live better?

“What should Fabian love to replace those damn beer bottles? His life?”

Not a nod, Fabian even saw Raya shake her head slowly. “How come you are not worth that much to exchange for my favorite drink.”

Be ill. Bemoan. But Fabian is used to it. From a long time ago, he knew that the life that lay in his body did not have any meaning for the Kingdom. So instead of feeling offended, Fabian instead casually asked, “Keep what?” as if able to respond to anything that Raya will ask.

Did Raya then ask for things not to be deceived, which ultimately made Fabian unable to fulfill it?

Obviously not.

The woman had thought about it well, long before venturing into this decision. He had already advanced, there was no longer any chance of retreat even if it was just one step.

After gathering enough air in her lungs, Raya began to express her intentions.

“Quite stop forcibly I take medicine, and no longer see Abraham.” doctor So said.

“Why?”

“I don't like the old man.” Very lightly talk. And as if he did not want to get a rejection, he moved up. “Do not involve him in any affairs between us. Instead, I will not make a fuss either. Besides, there's absolutely no point in getting along with that old guy, Fabian.”

After saying that, Raya walked away. His graceful steps had hypnotized Fabian, making the young man's lips as if locked and his eyes just continued to follow where Raya went until then the slender body was lost in the turn.

Along with the low breath that was passed, Fabian drew a glance. He saw the silver-colored key in his hand. Pretty long. Almost a full minute he was fixated on that thing, only to end up sighing even longer because for now, he had no choice but to agree with Raya's wish.

Inside her room, Raya again sat quietly in front of the dressing table. His fingers moved slowly combing through the soft strands of his hair, before the strands he collected into one in an original bond.

For now, a small part of his intention was complete. His belief that Fabian would accept the deal he made is close to 100 percent, so now he just needs to prepare things more maturely.

Weary. That was the only basis for why Raya had finally taken this bold decision. Years of living according to the wishes of others really make him barely recognize himself. Every time he glazed over, he could barely greet the figure that appeared in front of him. Really feel alien because what looks there, is not him at all.

There was a strong reason why he had survived to this extent. Let Fabian live with the thought that his birth was never wanted because it was the only option he could make. He takes away his maternal instinct, only to continue growing into a creepy monster in order to feed the ego of a Seraphina Lazuardy.

That woman is truly a demon. That's what you always plant in your heart. The life of another person is not important to the woman. Because the only thing that matters to him is the ambition to build a happy family, so that he continues to get praise from the people around him.

But, a dozen years seems to be enough. Raya was no longer willing to help Sera let the ambition grow bigger. Moreover, if he had to constantly sacrifice Fabian.

To be honest, the presence of Fabian in his stomach was not his desire. Who really expects the presence of a rape fetus? Surely there isn't. But allowing the child to be born into the world was a choice he had made, as he did intend to take care of the child with all his heart.

If only he had not been more afraid of Sera who continued to threaten to eliminate her mother, Raya might never have treated Fabian badly. She may be a good mother to the child, giving him a decent life and making him the luckiest child in the world.

“You said, the only options I had were two: kill Fabian, or let him live but suffer. The first one I tried, but always failed. The second .. has happened as well. But you are still not satisfied and always want to disturb my son for your own sake.” Monologue raya. Inside his reflection, Sera seemed to be sitting before him, replacing the reflection of herself inside the large mirror there.

Raya recalls a dozen years ago, when she tried to kill Fabian for the first time. Back then, the scenario he had in his head was this: he would kill Fabian, so that the boy would not have to feel more suffering that would obviously come from Sera. Then, he will go after. Both died, as he thought. But for some reason, the savage humans that Sera placed by her side to watch her every move saved Fabian until it failed her plan.

The 2nd try and so on. There were always people who happened to come to foil his plans. So in the end, Raya gave up on choosing the first option. Inevitably, he had to let Fabian live. Of course by making sure that the child suffers every day. By not giving her a smile, a hug, let alone affection.

In order to fulfill Sera's wish, Raya allowed herself to look evil in her own son's eyes.

But now, it won't be anymore.

It may be too late to be a good mother. But Raya listen, there's no harm in trying. He will not be able to directly change his attitude to Fabian to be super duper good. It can't be. Fabian will instead think something wrong has happened to him. If so, eventually he will be forced to meet Abraham again, a mad psychiatrist who could be more concerned with friendship than the safety of his own patients.

Yes, Raya knew that Abraham was one of Sera's messengers. That was why he always refused to take the medicines prescribed by the man. Raya believes that his mental condition will only get worse if he takes it, because it is not impossible that Abraham prescribed the wrong drug.

Raya turned her attention to the dresser drawer. He looked at the corner for a long time, until then his hand moved slowly opening the top row. There, there's a cell phone. Raya picked up the phone, then turned it on.

The first thing that was seen on the screen when it was turned on was a photo of him, smiling while holding a baby Fabian. The smile in the photo was contagious, luring the corners of his lips pulled upwards to form a smile that he hardly ever showed Fabian.

Then, Raya started exploring. His goal was a secret folder, where he embedded a messaging app that he would only check occasionally. When it opened, there was a message that was not read.

He immediately opened the message, reading it carefully.

I am still preparing for your move to Canada. Please hold on for a little while longer, and please be kind to my son—even if you are reluctant to do so.

The message Raya left unrequited. After all, he had already read through everything and fully understood what he should do next.

A while ago, Jeffrey contacted him. The man tells him about the plan to transfer him and Fabian abroad, unbeknownst to Sera. He said the man would take care of everything. Prepare housing, savings and all the needs they will need during their stay abroad. To fool Sera, Jeffrey even intends to fake their deaths something that Raya never thought of before.

The intention of Jeffrey made the belief of Raya a little more increased. Because at least, he knows that Jeffrey as the father of his son still has a little concern—unlike his wife who really has no conscience.

Already finished checking the messages and other things that are in the phone, Raya again turned off the phone and returned it to the drawer. Not to forget also the drawer he key, then the key he put into his pants pocket dress then he took walk to the mattress.

Raya immediately threw herself down, then closed her eyes. The sound of the clockwork ticking becomes his introduction to the dream gate, helping him prepare to start a better life with Fabian; his dear son.
