One notification that appeared on the bottom right of his computer when he was busy playing games made Fabian's focus split. He can no longer pay attention to the character in the game being played, so the character ended up dying horribly exposed to enemy fire that was launched in a row.
Upset, of course. But regretting what happened—more it's just a dead game character—not something Fabian likes to do. So, instead of swearing, he just calmly removed the headphones that clogged his ears, he said, let it hang around his neck while his hands begin to move the mouse so that the cursor on his computer screen moves towards the notification sign that had appeared.
Not a message, not a system notification for an update, he instead found one message coming into his personal e-mail account. Something strange because the account was only used for important things outside of college. At best, only Pain Killer members know this email address. But the name listed as an e-mail sender with this unclear subject is clearly not the property of any other Pain Killer member.
When the e-mail is opened, it is a link with a message asking it to click on the link. And because from the beginning he was suspicious, then the final decision he made was to immediately delete the e-mail without bothering to click the link as requested. Since anyone knows, it is one form of fraud mode that recently—and he will end up losing several million from within his account.
"You're rich, not cheated." To someone who knows who. After that, he put his headphones back on and continued playing the game again.
...****************...
Until his car parked in front of the Blue apartment building, Baskara still didn't say much. His mind was completely fixed on the e-mail he had received. Wanted to quickly check, but he wasn't sure to do so when there was still Blue beside him. He was just worried, what if what was in the e-mail was something bad? Something that might have been better if he hadn't seen it at all.
"Bas" Blue's soft hands that felt cold due to the air conditioning effect in the car, touched the back of his hand that was still on the wheel. Baskara turned her head, finding the girl staring worriedly. "Why?" ask the girl gently.
Baskara wanted to say it was okay, but it was obviously impossible because Blue would not believe it. Finally, all he could do was to take a deep breath, grab Blue's hand and then hold it tightly. "Gue is not okay anymore" he said. Dare not to nail the face with Blue, so he prefers to look at Blue's hand in his hand. "But I can't tell you why I don't feel okay now, because .. I don't know the reason yet."
In the passenger seat, Blue opened her ears wide. Needless to say more, he knew Baskara was not doing well. But if in fact the young man had not been able to tell himself about what disturbed his mind more, what could he do? "It's okay." Blue Whisper. One hand outstretched, rubbing Baskara's delicate cheeks. "Lo can tell me later, whenever it's, if you're ready."
Having Sabiru in his life was one of Baskara's great fortunes. Although year after year passed by the misunderstanding that made the distance spread so far between them, in the end the girl remained the figure that understood her the most, when God finally gave them a way back together. Baskara knew she loved Sabiru as much as she did when she believed that she felt the same way.
With the contents of the head still noisy, Baskara tightened his grip on Sabiru's hand. Lately, the girl's hand has become one of the body parts that she is shrugging. Who felt like he wanted to hold on to it, so that there would be no longer a distance that stretched apart them. "You know, Blue?" this time, Baskara finally dared to look at her girl again. "Gue might have given up this life, if not for you. If it wasn't for me risking everything I have to make you happy. If not ... if not to be able to hold your hand like gini again. I may have been dead a long time, and you saved me."
Same. It was what flashed through Blue's head just after Baskara finished speaking. He might have long since caught up with his parents, if only the grudge had not appeared in him, making him have the unanimous determination to avenge his heartache against Baskara. Although the grudge is now gone, and she only ends up being the girl who falls back in love with Baskara, the reason she is still alive today is still that young man.
"Don't think of dying" said Blue. "We must wait until God picks us up, don't try to go home alone."
"As long as you love me, I think I can live even a hundred more years." Baskara said solemnly, but Blue responded with a crisp laugh. "Gue seriously." Said Baskara again with glaring eyes.
Blue stopped his laughter, replacing it with a thin smile followed by a slow nod of his head. "I know" he said.
After that, no more voices between them when just know-know-you-who started first—bibir they have met. It produces only a kiss, nothing more. Then they re-create the distance with a smile that rises on each other's lips.
...****************...
Arriving at home, Baskara found his dwelling in an empty state. His father is definitely still in the office considering it is only 7 p.m. But her mother ... Where did the woman go? It has been a few days he found the woman often travel—entah for what business. Though from a long time ago, Sera is not a tipilan who likes to wander. The woman was always happier at home, experimented with various dishes, then forced her to taste the results of her cooking—which often failed and it did not taste pleasant.
The condition of his room was still dark because there was nothing he allowed to enter but himself. So, the first thing he did after opening the door of his room was to press the light switch located on the right side of the door so that the bright white bulb finally lit up. Its rays propagate quickly, swallowing away the darkness that originally loomed as far as the eye could see.
Baskara then walked towards her study desk, sat on a chair and pondered for quite a while before pulling the phone out of her pants pocket. I opened his private e-mail, to bring up one incoming message that was still unread. The username that appears is completely foreign. As made in origin and does not contain any initials name or anything that people usually use to set their e-mai address.
From the initial sighting alone, it already looked suspicious. But no matter what, he still had to check it out immediately.
So, while praying, Baskara clicked the incoming e-mail with the subject 'secret' it. In the contents section, he found a link with a message that read 'Click, if you want to know how rotten your family really is'.
A voice whispered, asking him not to open the link because who knows it is one of the new modes of deception, but stupidly Baskara even clicked on the link until he was taken away to a new page— which then showed a large enough audio file.
It's getting wet, Baskara just throw themselves in. Opened Fila audio, then heard a voice that is not foreign— followed by another voice, which is equally familiar.
Arguably, Baskara's brain is quite intelligent. Although his intelligence is often masked by absurd behavior that is sometimes out of bounds, but he clearly has an IQ above average. But during listening to that audio recording, the intelligence he had seemed to mean nothing. He suddenly turned into a fool, unable to catch the intention of the conversation that occurred between two people— whom he later believed to be his father and mother.
"Please, Iah, Sera. You can keep Fabian away from me, his real father. But you can't force him to be anywhere near Baskara. They're siblings, Sera. There's my blood rushing through their bodies, so it's only natural that they have a strong inner bond with each other."
"Jeff, they're not brothers."
"They are, Sera. Want you to say not as many as a million times, they are still brothers. Nothing's gonna change that,"
"Jeff!"
"Enough. Please don't talk about this anymore. It is enough that you do not allow them to know each other the fact that they are brothers. You don't have to go that far to ban them from making friends either."
Then silence. No more voices of people arguing continued. But, the crowd then moved to the head of Baskara. His silence lasted long enough. Even to try to understand what he heard, the tape he replayed five times.
The more he listened, the more his head fussed. The more he could not understand the situation. The more he felt, the more his brain's ability to think was almost nonexistent.
He and Fabian are brothers? A junk? What other joke is this? Is not enough joke after joke present in the middle of his chaotic life?
"This ... What else is this, God?" still, with a mind in the air.
