Quite Different

The commotion that occurred at the campus base was one thing, though, and the message Blue sent was another thing Fabian had to deal with after struggling with a fussy head during the total of four classes he had today.

His courage to open the message from the girl was still at the bottom level, it could even be said to be almost non-existent. So he decided to keep his phone deep in a backpack that he had only been passing on one side of his shoulder and pretended that it had never existed in the first place.

The sun was still so high when Fabian and the other three members of Pain Killer walked towards the parking lot. Though the time has shown at four, where the Surya should have slowly shifted to the west side to then sink.

"What a bitch is the sun! I think it's very intentional to make a storm with me!" Reno, as always, served her role as the complainant well.

Fabian and Baskara shut up. They were also overheated, and their energy had been nearly exhausted after passing through many exhausting classes. There was no more energy left to serve Reno's scolding.

While Juan, as an understanding cousin, took the initiative to open his jacket, and then he stretched it over Reno's head so that the body of the tiny young man was spared from the hot sun.

However, the goodwill was not greeted in the same way by Reno, where the little boy instead threw a punch to Juan's muscular arm making the owner grimace.

"Not romantic! Disgust!" grouse Reno.

"Gue's just trying to be a good cousin, yeah, dog!" Juan started following him.

It's a rare occurrence. Because Juan usually always succumbed to Reno, letting the little boy win with all his arguments.

Presumably, the scorching sun this afternoon had managed to activate one bad side of Juan.

"You dare lo my dog-appear, huh?! Heh! I'm your brother!" Reno stopped, immediately ruffled her waist and stared intently at Juan.

"It's only one month older!"

"You need a month, a week, even an hour, I'm still older! You have to be polite when you talk to me!"

"Where is it like that?! Not only the young should be polite as the old!"

"No need to suck the dog!"

"Lo the dog!"

When two cousins who always look compact and go anywhere the two suddenly get into a heated debate, there is no better step than to cover if they do not want to participate battered.

So Baskara showed his initiative to save himself and Fabian. With his arm drawn, he covered with a wide swinging step as his eyes continued to watch Reno and Juan still arguing.

"The Juan if you get angry again serem too, yes." Baskara whispered when they were quite far from Reno and Juan.

Fabian just chuckled. Then he removed Baskara's hand from his arm so that they could walk hand in hand in a more normal way.

Initially Baskara felt unacceptable when his hand was thrown by Fabian although not in a rude manner. However, he decided not to continue his frustration and only followed the move that Fabian had swung at.

"By the way," Baskara voiced out again after a few seconds of silence. "The commotion at the campus base must have arrived at Blue ears."

Fabian turned his head for a while, then looked back straight ahead where his car was parked neatly beside Baskara and Reno's car.

"Gue feels that way too" said Fabian casually, inversely proportional to his feelings that are not crowded.

"So, how? Want to keep going?" ask Baskara. He halted his steps on the side of his car, stuck one arm over the hood of the car and looked at Fabian seriously.

"Continue" replied Fabian. I don't know where that belief came from. "We never back down when we start, have we?"

"But she already knows about our plan."

"All of our previous targets also knew that they were being targeted again, Bas."

"But she's quite different," after re-enforcing her body, Baskara reached into the bag of pants to then take out a pack of cigarettes from there. "Lo sure knows that I'm not gonna let go of Cimol for something that's not worth it." Then he took one cigarette and immediately slipped it to the lips.

While waiting for Fabian to respond, Baskara again reached into the pants pocket to look for a lighter. But, he did not find the small object even though he had reached into one by one the pocket of pants that he was wearing at this time.

"More,"

Baskara raised his head. In front of his face, there was already a black lighter with a picture of a butterfly. His smile rose, then he grabbed the lighter and immediately used it to light a cigarette.

The smoke puff spread quickly after the fire from the lighter managed to ignite the tip of the cigarette. Baskara smoked her cigarette deeply and exhaled her smoke slowly.

Fabian shook his head, with a gaze still fixed on the lighter in his hand. "Gue's gonna try, Bas."

Baskara's chest that initially still feels loose even though the smoke from cigarettes repeatedly went in and out of there, immediately turned into a tight hearing Fabian's answer. Because that's not what he wants to hear.

Supposedly, Fabian said he'd back off. Because after all Baskara's goal to hold this bet from the beginning was only to attract the attention of Blue, to show the girl that he was still in the world, and they finally met again after a long time.

But, a Pramudya Baskara never retracted his words. He could not suddenly stop this bet halfway, if not his friends who voluntarily resigned and declared their inability to continue the mission.

So instead of showing his disappointment blatantly, Baskara even commented a smile. He smoked his cigarette once more, before finally dropping the many remaining cigarettes to the ground, stepping on it using the tip of a shoe then kicking the shapeless carcass away from his sight.

"Let me know the reason, then." Said later. Both of his hands moved slowly slumping into the pocket of the jacket. The sight of Fabian standing before him was serious.

"You said she was quite different, right?"

Baskara. "So? What's the reason?"

"Gue's interested in finding out where he's different from the other target,"

"But you can't fall in love with her at all, that's the rule."

"Gue knew," Fabian confirmed the sagging backbag strap from his shoulder. "Don't worry, you clearly know that I've never been interested in a romantic relationship with any woman."

"elright. Just a reminder, in case you forgot."

"No, I-I'm not"

"Fabian!"

A voice suddenly interrupted Fabian's words, making him immediately turn toward the voice that turned out to be coming from the outside of the parking lot.

Fabian's eyes widened when he found Blue on the other side, waving as he continued to swing his steps.

Breezy wind flew long strands of Blue hair that were left unraveled, making it seem like a classic scene in a drama where the new female lead first shows herself in front of the male lead, and in an instant has stolen all her attention.

"****!" grouse Fabian.

However, the grunt did not mean much because when the Blue figure finally arrived before him, his mouth was locked tightly.

"Gue wants to talk to you, both." Said the girl, without shady aling-aling.

"What about?" Fabian pretended to be plain. Not knowing that behind him, Baskara was staring straight at Blue.

"Much." Blue answers briefly.

Fabian's breathing air coincides with the breeze that blows faster.

"Doesn't mind if I borrow Fabian for a second?" ask Blue suddenly. Luckily Baskara was always good at self-control, so he could easily answer that question without looking misbehaved.

"Please. I want to borrow forever and I don't have a problem." His lie. Because there is no history of a Pramudya Baskara willing Eleena Sabiru close to other men, let alone her own close friends.

"Thanks then," maybe no one will realize that Blue had a sneaky smile to Baskara before finally putting on a flat face again when asking for answers from Fabian who was still silent.

"Yes, come on." Fabian surrendered.

"Lo go back first," he told Baskara, who was then given a nod by the young man.

Then Fabian walked ahead of Blue. Out of nowhere he would go, Fabian would just follow where his feet swung.

While behind him, Blue and Baskara were still looking at each other, throwing gazes like two strongholds of arch-enemies who had just been reunited after the war. The atmosphere created was terrifying. As if it could instantly turn off anything that was originally alive, making it melt unceremoniously.

"Glad to see you again, Blue." Baskara.

However, Blue was not willing to accept that welcome. Instead of replying, Blue immediately turned around after brandishing the middle finger right in front of Baskara's face, which made the young man laugh as he could.
