Finding Jasmine's

Crowds were seen at several points in Neosantara. Starting from the front gate to the faculty building located at the rear end, the crowd looked so striking because each of them showed a different look. Some looked surprised, some seemed to stumble into smiles, some were like at a loss for words so all they could do was quietly search the cell phone where the source of the crowd seemed to be coming from.

Blue is not a typical person who likes to find out about what is going on around, if it has nothing to do with him or those closest to him, but seeing the reactions of people who seemed unusual, he was finally lured also to reach into the phone from inside the bag, then head straight to the campus base where all information about students in Neosantara is there.

Like a small number of people who seemed at a loss for words, Blue felt it when his eyes found a upload from Jasmine's account. There, the snake girl wrote an unusual sentence, similar to a saying as if the end would come soon. The post was made four hours ago, when the whole lecture activity was going on so that only now the furore happened.

All residents of Neosantara know that Jasmine is two-faced, and sometimes likes to do things beyond reason to simply attract the attention of people around. But if you write a sentence that seems to be a suicide letter, Blue is not sure the girl will actually do it. Judging from any aspect, Blue was sure Jasmine still had enough sanity not to take her own life in such a miserable manner.

"Maybe there's a problem we don't know about?"

Blue turned to the source of the voice, where it came from a curly-haired girl who was talking to her short-haired, shoulder-length female friend. They walked slowly past Blue, so the conversation that was going on between them could still be caught by his ears.

"Over what, to commit suicide? I mean .. Doesn't he seem to want to end his own life?" sahut who has short hair. Somehow, they even decided to sit on a park bench not far from where Blue sat himself since half an hour ago. That obviously makes Blue more able to eavesdrop.

"Depression is sometimes invisible. People who seem fine, it turns out to have an inner wound that cannot be expressed to others. Jasmine does not have any close friends. Could that be what finally made him feel alone?" the curly hair spoke at length.

The short hair seemed silent for a while, then returned to glancing at the phone screen and said nothing afterwards.

Blue does the same. He looked back at his own phone screen, then moved to scroll down, looking through the comments people posted to respond to Jasmine's post.

Mirisnya, Blue instead saw so many people who accused Jasmine was just looking for attention.

For example, a comment uploaded by someone with the username @balonquadalima that reads, "This paper is mah. Tomorrow also nongol his son to the campus to nyari new prey." or another comment from @netijenjulid who said, "The other only left the same sugar daddy. Just want to attract sympathy, so quickly get a new sugar daddy."

And there are still many other negative comments uploaded, which do not represent them at all as educated people. Blue took a deep breath because, the sentences he read were too painful. Regardless of how bad Jasmine behaved, wasn't she still human? Wasn't there at least one humanitarian side of the people around to try to figure out what was going on with Jasmine, and did the girl need help? Does when someone makes too many mistakes, it automatically makes them unworthy of the attention of those around them?

Blue has always believed that no human being is perfect, and the human heart is dynamic. It keeps moving. From one point to another, it follows how the earth circles the sun. He can be full of hate, can also turn full of love like there is no tomorrow to adore. So like a heart that can change according to what he passes, Blue believes humans themselves can change. Jasmine may be annoying, but Blue is sure there is one moment where the girl will only look like a lonely girl who needs a friend.

So, should these people judge Jasmine, as they are the only human beings who have never sinned against others?

Sure didn't.

But, Blue realized he could not control others. So what he can try as a man who still has a conscience is to get up from his seat, then call someone who he believes also still has the good side of a human being.

While waiting for the phone to connect, Blue swung her steps wide towards the parking lot. His eyes were several times rubbing against the other crowd and what he found from there was a more diverse expression than before.

Just as his feet reached the side of the car, the phone finally hooked up. A heavy and hoarse voice greeted from across, a little tingling because it felt like it had long ago the voice did not come to greet him with the addition of a hoarse accent typical of people just waking up like now.

"Lo didn't fuck?" tanyanya. Now at 3pm, it was only natural that he questioned the existence of the young man who was getting clear just waking up when he heard a loud enough yawning sound.

"Gue woke up bad luck." The voice across, made Blue sigh low. "Why, Yang?"

"Don't call Yang, disgust."

"Well, you're my boyfriend?! Where would it be wrong if I called you my darling?!" Baskara.

Blue again sighed while turning the lazy eyeball. If only the situation was not precarious, he might argue Baskara all day just because of a call dear. But for now, let him swallow all the arguments he has, because they have a more important mission to do now.

"Gue no longer want to fuss about this, so listen to me because I have more important things to talk about."

"What?!" Baskara sounds sewot.

"It's about Jasmine."

As expected, the young man then moaned when Jasmine's name came out. Not something strange, because almost everyone in Neosantara will do the same. The average person does not want the name mentioned in a conversation. Because when that happens, the odds are one; they'll get into trouble.

"Why again? He's bothering you?"

"What post?"

"Let's look at base!" Blue is a bit hard. Then, he lowered his tension back. "Gue to your base, yeah. Let's discuss this there."

The sound of snorting was clearly heard. But shortly after, Baskara's hoarse voice was again heard only to say an "OK." then the phone was closed unilaterally.

Blue doesn't bother about that. He put the phone back in his bag, then he immediately got in the car and drove it out of the campus parking lot.

...****************...

The selection of the headquarters as a meeting place with Baskara seemed wrong. Because unexpectedly, there were already two cars on the front page when Blue got there. The owner of one of the cars suddenly appeared from the door so there was no time for him to escape. Already wet, Blue finally turned the car into the yard and parked it next to Fabian's car.

"Hi" he said clumsyly to Fabian who had not let go of his gaze since he had walked out of the car. The young man looked astonished at his presence, but seemed to have no courage to ask first about his unexpected arrival.

"Juan same Reno is inside too?" ask Blue again. Anyway, he will ask whatever comes to his head to make the atmosphere not awkward. All of you think of the right reasons for Fabian suddenly asking him what he came here for.

"There's." The young man answered briefly.

Whether it could be said to be lucky or not, but the young man did not ask anything and just led him in to meet Juan and Reno who were sitting casually on the sofa while snacking on potato chips.

"Oh, Avatar!" reno cried when their eyes met. The young man looked bright, raising his hand into the air with a palm that led to him—like about to do high five.

Blue smiled faintly in response to the unusual greeting from Reno then walked over. His body moved automatically flattened in the middle of the two young men when Juan voluntarily shifted his position to leave space.

"From college?" juan asked while offering a can of soft drinks. Blue welcomes the can of drink, then nods his head.

"Still rame?" ask Juan again. No need to think hard to guess which way the question is headed. So Blue again nodded his head.

For a while, no one spoke. It was as if the four of them were both thinking carefully about what would come out of their respective mouths.

Until then, Blue took the initiative of being the first person to open a voice. Counting gives the answer to the question of why he came here, before the question is really thrown.

"Actually .. I came here to check on Jasmine." Reveal it. Then he observed one by one the expressions that appeared on the faces of the three young men to know whether the idea he conveyed got a good response or just the opposite.

For Baskara, Blue was sure the young man did not mind his idea. Because Blue believes Baskara's not such a jerk to close his eyes on things like this. But for these three friends ... Blue doesn't know. Even Fabian though, Blue still could not read whether the young man would have enough care especially for a public enemy like Jasmine.

And the hesitation disappeared when Juan's head nodded followed by a heavy voice that said, "Gue also thought to check his condition."

"But the thing is, no one knows where Jasmine lives." Reno. Potato chips that he had originally decapitated possessively, were placed on the table in dramatic slow motion. Then the young man stared fixedly at Blue, as if wanting to transfer everything that made him hesitant to act. "Where should we go to check her condition?" keep up the young man.

Pensive blue. Jakarta is wide. Combing the apartment or boarding houses that are still located around Neosantara also certainly takes time. Especially if it turns out Jasmine lives in a more distant location. More and more time will be wasted just to find the whereabouts of the girl. Wrong, they lost the moment. Yes, if Jasmine is just looking for attention as alleged by people. But what if it turns out that the girl is indeed in a bad condition, and they are late to provide help?

Amidst the despair that felt to the point of making his head throb, Blue heard Reno muttering softly beside him. He turned his head, asking the young man to repeat his sentence once more.

Eye contact occurs for a few seconds between her and Reno. Until the young man sighed softly before opening his mouth and saying, "Actually .. I know one of the people who had become his sugar daddy. Maybe that guy can help us with information."

Either just his feelings, or Reno did say it in a very slow voice and seemed not powerful at all.

"Who?" toodong. Trying to ignore the awkwardness he felt from Reno's tone of voice.

Again, Reno sighed. As far as he knew this young man, only now did Blue see Reno seem so frustrated.

"Take me." Said the young man, who then made him, Juan and Fabian speechless with his mouth half open.
